I use ambrane 200 rupees dac which shows on website it supports lossless audio should I be considering a upgrade D07 dac ...? Does DO7 dac really make any difference? Also i own the og KZ CASTOR herman edition....
Do you have the Ambrane CX1? It should be fine with your Castor. The D07 will probably sound a little bit better, but not enough to warrant upgrading to. For a true upgrade, you'd be better off saving up and going with a higher category of DAC entirely.
@@B9scrambler yss but I think i am not getting the most out of my IEM cuz it's impedance is 31-36 ohm, (which more than avg) but for ambrane CX1 dac there nothing mentioned for it and doesn't even work with my laptop so my pov is iem's can sound better... ( disclaimer: i just started my audiophile journey, i don't have so much knowledge).....
@@AticGoo In my experience sensitivity is more important than impedance. The Castor's sensitivity is 105dB which is a bit lower than average. The D07's power output is 60mW which should be fine. Can't find power specs for the Ambrane so it's probably quite low. D07 might do the trick for you.
Haven't heard the Chu 2 but I'm inclined to go that way instead of the Castor. Castor is perfectly fine, but the Moondrop house sound is something I really like. SSR and SSP look to measure similarly, which are some of my favourite iems.
@@Sxtis1x Np. Couldn't tell you since I haven't tried them, lol. I'm sure they would be fine for gaming though. Most products nowadays are competent when it comes to imaging and whatnot.
Thanks for the review! I have recently bought the base enhanced version and was wondering since they both have the same drivers, is there a way i can get the sound of the normal version out of it? like turning on specific switches or using Equalizer?
Using EQ you could surely get the bass enhanced version to sound like the normal version. Since you won't be adding bass, you wouldn't run into distortion either which is always nice. Otherwise, I'm sure the tuning was done via physical differences, so any tuning done to get the bass version to sound like the normal version would be irreversible. Might as well just buy the normal version if you have the opportunity. I keep seeing them both on sale for under 20 bucks.
As a budget option, it might be okay. Follows the Harman curve closely and has decent technical performance. Something more neutral would probably be better, but I'm unsure what offers that around this price point.
The cable is pretty much standard 0.75mm, theres no difference in mics between the iems by cca, kz, etc. which all either use 0.75/78mm C/B pin connectors which come standard. There's "upgraded" cables with type C which visually have the same mic configuration on the cable.
With a couple exceptions anything QKZ is basically trash. Never heard of the Hub but if you mean the collaboration model with a popular youtuber, that thing can burn in the fiery rivers of hell. Like this the Zero follows Harman too close for my tastes so they're probably interchangeable. Buy the one you like the look of more/is cheaper.
I both have the silver harman and the salnotes zero, the reviewer found the silver castor a bit harsh, the salnotes zero is more harsher in my ears with its 13k peak and the treble is even more pronounced since its bass is quite flat, pretty good for classical stuff but everything else the silver castor is better tuned.
@@Benri05since you have both and I’m considering either one .. the castor has the same level of clarity as the salnotes zero ? Is the bass nonexistent in the zero compared to castor?

What do you mean by too harsh? Just curious
A bit sibilant, peaky, extra grainy. Generally unpleasant, lol.
That makes sense lol
is this good for mixing music?

Which is better to purchase between kz castor vs kz zs 10 pro x
The Expensive one..cus it works on 5 drivers each
I'll probably get these but the bass version.
Noice
Which do you think is better, The Harman Or the Bass one?
I've only tried the Harman version. Can imagine a bit more bass in this tune would be nice.
7h zero 1 vs kz castor which sounds better ?
I found the DCMEKA AO9 sounding better then the 7HZ Salnotes l with more bass & better sound but I hadnt tried the castor yet myself
I prefer kz castor, sold my 7hz zero
