You have to buff it into your face with a brush or your fingers, the little bits in the foundation are full of colour so blending the foundation in with a sponge won’t distribute the colour. I definitely think you should try this again 😊
Idk because now they sell packets that give you the option of using a brush and/or the blending sponge she is using here. So I think it’s more so about not using anything else underneath it. All makeup looks different once it sets through the day. So perhaps this is the trick then. 🤷🏻♀️😅 All skin is different though. So it just depends. You need to use only your fingers and rub the cream in. Then you’ll instantly see the colour change to your skin tone. Do not use a beauty blender or brush, just use your fingers and rub it into your skin.
I'm not good with anything heavily scented, so from that perspective, this saved me wasting money. Having the same skin tone as yourself brings me to the next NO for me. Thank you
I watched with my daughter. I am mixed and never can find the right shade. You looked good. I learned to use makeup on my neck griwing up by blending froom my face down to my neck. So.e people say you should leave it on for a while if you ha e darker skin to give it time to adnust. And some say not to use anything else (primer, etc.) because they may interfere with the product.
It does work just not with a beauty blender you have to use a foundation brush or your fingers to burst the pigment in the foundation so it changes colour
Holy Crap...I have bought it for 23 euros from a so called American Website while its was like a few dollars on AlieExpress. I never thought It was made in China. I applied it with my fingers and I look like a ghost. Damn! Bye bye money.😓😓😓
I think it takes time to come through. My face got so white I couldn't let it on my face for more than a minute. Checked this video out to see if I'm not the only one with white face here 😭
I would have tried a brush or my fingers, but that's just what I prefer to apply my makeup anyway. It really sucks that it doesn't work. I am pale as hell and I still don't think this would work for me, since I've got some acne I like to cover up. A lot of the videos in their lineup I saw on FB were definitely lighter skinned people who have virtually flawless skin. And one of them it actually made her look a little orange to me, so I just think it's total BS anyhow. Thank you for doing an honest video and showing what it looks like instead of just adding additional stuff to your face afterwards.
I use this foundation. I would cry if they ever discontinued it. I have a very two toned face. This is the only thing I have found that looks right. Mine came with a beauty blender this time. Haven't tried it. Hope it works. I usually just use my hand. And it only takes a tiny bit. You have to rub it in. Not tap.
Don't let this video put you off. The product actually does work, she just applied it wrong and applied too much. You're suppose to use your fingers, not a make up sponge.
Rub with your fingers girl!! LOL all these beauty youtubers using a brush or beauty blender. You need to use your fingers because of the friction and warmth
What did you think of Jeffree's video when you watched it? I definitely think it's safe to say your views were justified and Jeffree even found a few extra issues. I'm honestly surprised you were able to get the foundation out.
Gurl it does not work!! It’s white! It started out white and it’s still white. You’re beautiful without that. It didn’t work for Jeff Star either!! Get ur money back. Luv ya girl!!
Purfexon Yeah I definitely see it doesn’t work 🤣 but getting my money back isn’t worth the hassle considering I bought it in late October early November 🤦🏽♀️ thank you so much for watching babe 🤗❤️
There is little beads in the cream that pops when you rub it. No blender works. With this foundation. It need to be heated with the skin of your hands.
YOU HAVE TO RUB IT WITH YOUR FINGERS AND WARM IT BEFORE IT CHANGES!! EITHER APPLY WITH A BRUSH OR DONE THEN RUB YOUR FINGERS OVER IT OR JUST USE YOUR FINGERS AND IT WORKS!! IT SERIOUSLY WORKS!!
They have three options for skin tones now. Not sure if this was the case all along but will you try one of the other two options for the darker skin tone? White, green & pink are available.
ur suppose to use ur fingers, and pls do not forget to do one with sponges, brush, and fingers..to me, seems some of the pigment comes off ur fingers. not all foundations are good with brushes, sponges, or fingers. so it’s good to try all.. esp try with fingers that are foundation like this one TLM
Thank you sooo fn much for this video, I saw this on instagram and was like “Imma see if this works on black girls” lol and I’m darker than you are so that would have been a big yikes😂you saved me $20
So happy I could help you save you money. This product is horrible. Its sad how many rep are in these comment trying to make excuses for the lack of pigmentation its so obvious its them trying to save face for their brand.
I think that is a tone up cream instead of foundation... and as what I have notice, many Asian are using a lot of this. Be honest, this is not a real foundation, it’s more of a sunscreen and with a very minor coverage. Cause Asian’s are just too lazy to put on makeup and wearing this instead! These tone up cream simply are just sunscreen that make your skin brighter! Usually, you can only use your hands to rob them on your skin... it will be better! 😏😏 FYI... I do enjoy this review!
The girls in the commercial videos didn't use their fingers to apply it! They used some kind of brush... stop excusing the fact that it didn't work on her... and it totally didn't
I’m pretty sure you are not supposed to use any makeup underneath it. So no concealer/primer, otherwise it won’t match. It works for me with the brush, on a fresh face. Then I add in nars blush and a mineral illuminating setting powder from ulta. With a rose water spray afterwards because I have dry skin/eczema. I like it a lot because I like a light foundation that barely looks like it’s there. I do not like heavy foundations. So the liquid feel of it works better for me and my eczema. Most full coverage foundations are god awful for me and my likes. I like the more natural look though. So I barely use any. My skin changes colors with my body temp so it’s hard to find a matching one tbh. This is the closest matching foundation for me out of everything I ever used. I have very native american skin. Nobody makes makeup for us. Lol! I wish they would. Our skin is different than most peoples.
@@SashaFierce411 Lol! I get it. I don’t use concealer or primer, and I don’t contour ever. So it’s hard to find good foundations for me due to everything combined. Everyone makes foundation now for people that do a lot. When I use all that makeup it makes my skin break out. So I’m preferring this way. Honestly no makeup is made to just put on your face and go anymore. Everything either makes me too dark or too white, or it looks blotchy. I’ve spent a couple years trying to find the right kind for these top makeup lines and I’ve yet to come across anything that doesn’t make me feel like a clown. So I am just going to stick with this. I already use blush and setting no matter what I wear because I like my face to look like my face just covering up my eczema and darkness around my eyes. Honestly I’m at a loss when it comes to it. Idk how you ladies pull it off so well, but you do and it comes out looking amazing on you guys but not me 😂 It makes me feel like I have a literal mask on my face. I use rose water because I have to constantly use oils and water throughout the day otherwise my face gets way too dry. Makeup or no makeup. Eczema is truly a game changer when you don’t like foundation/concealer but want to have normal skin. Plus the whole as soon as I step in the sun then my skin gets red and darkens. 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve given up finding something. Lol!
It honestly takes me 15 minutes to do my makeup with this. Instead of the 30 minutes and above with the other foundations. With other foundations I have to use multiple colors to match mine. Plus concealer to cover up the dark spots and redness. That’s why it feels like a mask. 🤦🏻♀️
I am not satisfied. I have a white mark on my face even though I applied the powder with my fingers and did not apply the cream before. like i have thick sunblock

I SAID WHAT I SAID IT DOES NOT WORK .
I don't know why but I think if you do it with your fingers will work better... don't know but I will try it to see if that works you already have it
You need to use only your fingers and rub the cream in. Then you’ll instantly see the colour change to your skin tone. Do not use a beauty blender or brush, just use your fingers and rub it into your skin.
I know this is an old video, but I watched another one and she used her fingers and popped those grainy bubbles and that’s what changed the pigment.
So it's sunscreen that goes clear the longer you rub it in
7ito The Gaymer lmao purple when you rub it in 🤣
@@SashaFierce411 have you seen jeffree stars review 🤣😂
I'm not good with anything heavily scented, so from that perspective, this saved me wasting money. Having the same skin tone as yourself brings me to the next NO for me. Thank you
I watched with my daughter. I am mixed and never can find the right shade. You looked good. I learned to use makeup on my neck griwing up by blending froom my face down to my neck. So.e people say you should leave it on for a while if you ha e darker skin to give it time to adnust. And some say not to use anything else (primer, etc.) because they may interfere with the product.
Youre supposed to use a brush or fingers. Your sponge looks like its leaving flakes on your face.
I used it with my fingers and it did the same thing. Leaves basically "lint" on your face and just looks like sunscreen
It does work just not with a beauty blender you have to use a foundation brush or your fingers to burst the pigment in the foundation so it changes colour
I brought it, tried it..Doesnt work..Thank Goodness I only spend it $4.00
I also brought and it worked amzing
I honestly wished I'd came to RUclips first before I ordered it!! I know I will not be getting my money back!
talina osborne Me too!
Holy Crap...I have bought it for 23 euros from a so called American Website while its was like a few dollars on AlieExpress. I never thought It was made in China. I applied it with my fingers and I look like a ghost. Damn! Bye bye money.😓😓😓
SMH I jus ordered it! I'm very upset!
Is TLM better or hailey beauty???
I think it takes time to come through. My face got so white I couldn't let it on my face for more than a minute. Checked this video out to see if I'm not the only one with white face here 😭
You need to use your fingers. The heat from your fingers activates the pigment in the creme
Not tap.
Thanks for sharing!! Thats interesting it came with a beauty blender consider everyone insisting use finger and brushes ect.
Consumers should sue, false advertisement.
There are white pills all over your face from it. Or it's sticking to the hairs I'm not quite sure what it is
I know right. It was so crazy that I couldn't see them in person but on camera it undeniable thats where the texture i was feeling came from.
Its probably the pigment balls, they disappear with friction. Might be worth comparing with a brush? Although I don't think there will be any miracles
@@Chelslockhartx yes apparently they are the pigment balls, from watching other videos it seems you need to 'pop' them with a brush or your fingers
I was going to buy it but after watching your and stars videos have decided not to
Don't let this video put you off. The product actually does work, she just applied it wrong and applied too much. You're suppose to use your fingers, not a make up sponge.
It is sunscreen not a foundation.
Rub with your fingers girl!! LOL all these beauty youtubers using a brush or beauty blender. You need to use your fingers because of the friction and warmth
So glad I watched this video. I have allergies to most scents. This product would not work for me. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
What’s that like crumbly dot stuff it’s leaving on your face?
Fapple it’s the pigment
Wish I did research before I gotten it..pump on the bottle sucks..it turn my face white..after wearing it my skin started peeling
The color changes more if you use your fingers to apply rather than a blender
Should it be rudded it and not patted. Would that make a different.
Come hear coz I was so close to by it. Thank you for your viedo :-)
Sasha, This would work for you had you gotten the WARM skin tone changing foundation.
They didn’t have it at the time of this video Luv 💕
Thank you sooo fn much for this video, I saw this on instagram and was like “Imma see if this works on black girls” lol and I’m darker than you are so that would have been a big yikes😂you saved me $20
same here 😁
So happy I could help you save you money. This product is horrible. Its sad how many rep are in these comment trying to make excuses for the lack of pigmentation its so obvious its them trying to save face for their brand.
@@SashaFierce411Oh absolutely without a doubt smh
I don't think it looks good if you're tan or darker complected, thanks for showing this.
this product works for me. it’s my favorite foundation. i use my fingers to rub it in.
Your also have very fair skin. That plays a huge part.
Thanks for the review now we can save our coins . New subbie 😀
Marie Arcenaux Thank you babe 🤗
But it works with heat, in other words": a makeup sponge doesn't have heat, so rubbing it in with your fingers is the best way to go with.
The instruction say none of that but thank you for the info Nathalie.
@@SashaFierce411 You're welcome :)
I’ve watched so many video about this product and only 1 person mentioned the little beads.....you have to pop the beads. That’s where the pigment is.
Hi Sibly, I mentioned the beads but I doesn't change the pigmentation. Honestly this product is trash.
I love mine!!! It is perfect for older women!
Good for you Patti!
You have to use a very tiny amount I dot in each area and use your fingers to blend it.
The girls in the commercial videos didn't use their fingers to apply it! They used some kind of brush... stop excusing the fact that it didn't work on her... and it totally didn't
Ok thanks I wanted to try that for my black spots
SAVE YOUR MONEY MONICA!
Your supposed to rub it not use a beauty sponge. Come on girl
They are now being sold with beauty sponges come on girlll lol
I agree our skin is super different but to be quite honest with you if I have to do all of that just to get it to work I’m cool on the foundation 😂
Aww it didn’t work I was hoping. Enjoyed watching great job on this video🙂❤️🦋
You're supposed to rub it not pat
it with sponge
I am not satisfied. I have a white mark on my face even though I applied the powder with my fingers and did not apply the cream before. like i have thick sunblock
GIRLLLLLLL I keep telling these ppl I'm not playing it doesn't work lol.
It is $19... maybe the $4.99 is a fake copycat product of altered as this happens all over!
How are you not talking about the amount of pilling that it’s causing?! Did you legit not see all the white pieces that pulled on your face??
HILifeSwag I did mention it
Don’t you need to use your fingers to rub it in? I would think that would help rub the color out.
This is a NO 👎😂
SERIOUSLY LOL
Thank you for trying this out. Your video literally saved my money and time.
If you read the description when purchasing this foundation it says you have to mix it with your a regular foundation to help it blend to your skin better…
She talks too much.
Cate Weedgoddess 😂😂😂 girl if it wasn’t my Birthday I would have probably taken that some other way and the fact your not the first person to say it 🤣
Isn’t that what she is supposed to do? ...in a product review?
@@bellatries582 oh gosh no 4 or 5 minutes before any product review and we even got friggen god bothering thrown in there 😖
I use it and love it. I am fair skinned.
Good for you!
I tried this also. How do you send it back? Can you help.
I bought it and I have tan skin tone and no it doesnt work. Rub it in, pat it in but didnt work for me.
Every quick video in the ads you see the girls rubbing it in their skin, not blotting it with a sponge. Definitely think you should try it again... If you can bare the smell..from the sounds of it, it's pretty strong..
Kevia Jackson You know what I think I am gonna try it again. I’ve been getting so many comments asking but for some reason you convinced me 🤣👍🏽
Glad I watched several videos before buying, Thank You Ladies for saving me money, will NOT be trying This MESS
Erica Lawrence i bought it and it’s going in the damn trash. Don’t waste your money.
