- This episode we are back working on or humble hard worker Holden 1Tonner, we found the tonner parked for almost 2 decades at a closed concrete plant near the town i grew up in, Last episode was your classic "Will it run" but this time its a few steps further with some rust repairs , floor pans and lots of work inside to get the classic survivor Holden 1 step closer to back on the road running and driving.

When i used that windshield tool, the bolt that holds the pulling handle bent then snapped off & sent me flying across the shed cause I was doing exactly what you were doing. Shoved it straight in and started pulling hard.
That look on your face when you heard the screech of the glass maybe cracking as you were at the top right corner was priceless 😂
Haha yep i was nervous hahhaha🍺🍺👍

Bloody hell mate that was a ripper video- I should be working but just watched the whole thing. Best car build video I’ve seen in a long time and since I have been stressing over tackling my floor pans in my 1979 HJ45 Ute and just welding them with my eyes while sinking a beer lately you’ve convinced me to crack on tonight. Legend. I’m subscribed and will be back for more. The old Holden looks mint with with a squint, you did a great job. Cheers

Love what you do Mick , Just the basic resto to get it back on the road. Just to sell it or complete it later. It’s a big thumbs up from me
👍👍🍺
The Tonner, from factory is quite a parts bin special: HZ with HQ front panel. Guards must be HQ as well. HQ, HJ indicator stalk. Didn't get the multi function column stalk that HX onwards has. Unique Holden letters badge on the front, instead of the lion badge in the grill. Basic, easy to repair bumper, grill, and indicators. The indicators look like the same as on a 6x4 trailer. Ineresting comparism with my FG Falcon cab chassis, which is basically the same as the FG sedan, from the front doors forwards.
🍺👍
Just finished watching your latest ep, the interior looks awesome so does the outside with the clear coating. Great work as always Mick👍
Cheers chris🍺🍺👍

Back Shed- One of the few, better alternatives to so-called “Reality TV” like Motor Trend. One can tell the expletives, car seat throwing, hand tool and tantrum chucking and other drama ain’t scripted.
Thanks for the heads-up ‘bout “Mucus”, let’s git r dun, Son!
