- A small mix I made way back of the tracks Cassardis, Who Hands Down, and Endless World, from the video game Dragon's Dogma.
Dragon's Dogma music was composed by Tadayoshi Makino, title card by Kinky Sketch. The title card has no affiliation to the game.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is in development fellow Arisen... we did it.
Yes! Imagine the possibilities, new abilities, map expansions, mote humanoid races, more enemies, both old and new ones. And yes dragons!
Ayoo vergil my man.
Didnt expect you to play dragons dogma
@@MyNameisRevenant You really Hyped me up
@@Yuuhenshin As I am too
i wonder if they learned what went wrong with FFXV. i'd like to see some form of that camping but done RIGHT
Replaying the game, everytime the Cassardis hits when you visit the village feels like coming back home after a long trip. I hope that Dragon's Dogma 2 is able to give me that feeling too, someday.
There are some sneak peeks out. Not official though
The music makes it so Epic. I miss this game 😔 and my waifu...
Is too predictable. The lesson of darkness within darkness consumes ALL.
To learn and to teach. Which Grows faster?

I just go back to my house at night and just stand there and listen to the fire crackling
I do wish I could sit on the chair in front of the fireplace because that would be more immersive and would make me feel better
I just wish this game had more things for immersion
Imagine dragons dogma with Skyrim levels of interactions with the environment and the NPCs.
Imagine if it had a game mode where you would have to take care of your basic human needs and only allow you to save at an inn or your village.
Tht would straight up turn the game into Skyrim+dark souls+dragons dogma.
I can only dream
Once you go Dragons Dogma, you don't go back.. Thus is the endless cycle :)
I went back. This game ain't for me.
Music is tho.
@@Skorm731 that's a shame, man. This game is freaking beautiful and a lot of fun. Might be a bit outdated, but it's definitely worth it.
@@gabriel_alemdoaquario It's the greatest game!
Weapons mans best friend and is long overdue.
Consider the infinite potential. Just as you call forth RUclips comments, so I command all replies in existence. Call it shitposting if you must, but expect none of the mercy men seek in their comment section. This is cold truth. The unbending reality of a RUclips comment section. RUclips and all its videos are but empty vessels. In that regard, no different than the pawns. Without volition there is no true life. The comment section falls stagnant, dead as an ocean with no current to guide it. That volition is tempered by the struggle for likes. The decision, just like yours to comment. Just as the comments need a master's command, so the world thirsts for the will to live.
Comes back here after dd2 ,and after listening this … I realised we will never get a better dragon dogma dark arisen …
Indeed. Dragon's Dogma deserved better.
I HATE that in DD2 we didn't have any place we can call home like Cassardis
Heck Cassardis and Gran Soren had unique soundtrack for it while Vermund barely had one
Like at least DD1 Arisen had a home and some people know about us because we live with them as a villager
Dd2 Arisen barely had any backstory and not even one person recognise us before the incident even happen
Ulrika knows about us but not before the incident but during the incident (because we LITERALLY save her life)
Like we don't had anyone tied to our past before becoming an Arisen
@@khemval4364 you might hate it but others love the blank template.
@@khemval4364vermund and bakbatthal look so much bigger but they're so shallow compared to grand soren and even cassardis

oh gosh i'm so happy to see people still like dragons dogma!!! i haven't met another fan of it in so lonG
I LOVE this game so much. It's the kind of gem where I am completely okay with accepting it's shortcomings. I could talk forever about the ending(s) of this game too, I love it

HELL YEAH FELLOW MYSTIC KNIGHT

Still coming back to listen to this. One of my favorite pieces of fan music ever
This is a combination of two different; existing themes for the game.
I can't hear too much of this one. It gives a huge desire to cry.

Just here to continue my support after 10 years. Can't wait to take up arms again.
God, this mix is so damn good. I just keep coming back to it. How can something be so sad and so comfy at the same time?
I keep coming back also😭
True, just like Cassardis itself. I always love returning to that village.
The melancholy undertones express the nostalgia of what home can feel like after a long time out on the open road
I’ve come back to it after a long time and I think I’ve finally come to understand the vibe of comfy sadness that this gives off.
It very much gives off the vibe of returning to a home that deep down you know can no longer be called your home, which is fitting for the Arisen whose destiny robs them of their normal life.
Why is this game so underrated?
Like all good fruit, it ripened given time. Dogma/DDDA eventually sold over 1 million copies.
its really a question of timing. it came out 6 month after skyrim and a few month after kingdom of amalur/diablo 3 so most Rpg player where pretty busy at that point.
its not the first time that a great game "failed" because of timing. for example Horizon zero dawn came out just after Breath of the wild and Horizon 2 just after elden ring.
all these game got overshadowed by what would become some of the most important game of their decade.
@@courageogbewe9492 6 Millions *
@@styloo_At least 8 million now.
yea its underrated gem, hell even the gameplay are much better than Witcher/Skyrim
Wolf's hunt in packs arisen
My gosh I just got back into the game and the nostalgia hit hard, every recurring sentence I heard which I would say "I know damn it!" gets replaced with "I know...sniff " this game is truly amazing.
This brought me to tears, I remember this, when I first beat Dragon's Dogma. Life is amazing
Truly! I remember completing the game with all it has to offer with gears and quests. After all that I've done, I went to this place to finally rest my MC from a nostalgic journey this game gave me. Good times.
..and I'm still in an Endless World
I always come back to this ost once in a while maybe a month later, 6 months, a year or two. It just has that vibe it gives, you feel like you're forever attached to it. This game made me feel that way. A memory worth remembering.
Mmmhmmmm
Yeah
The art is literally box-cover material.
The most underrated RPG
Oh no, the memories. They're too much. This makes me want to cry ;(
Pawns, palicoes, palimutes, capcom really knows how to make npc partners that you just love to take with you.
It’s 2022 and I have to admit, this game is my one and only favorite game
I first got it for Xbox 360 and now I have it on my ps5 and Pc.
God I fucking love Dragons Dogma. While yeah the beginning of the adventure was somewhat dull I couldn't help but fall in love with the ending and what it really means when you decide to end the cycle. I will not forget the chills and the excitement of an actual amazing battle when my second play through Arisen had a throw down with my first.
Don't think the cycle actually ended
the cycle didn't end it never ended and never will end
My heart is arisen after hearing this. Fantastic, brings me back to my first playthrough.
This game really moved me at the time, easily one of my favorite rpgs i've ever played
they need to bring tadayoshi makino back to do the music for dd2's dlc
Yep. The monster Hunter rise music is so lame.
Nothing in Dragons Dogma 2 makes me feel the way this track does. And before anyone calls me nostalgia blind, I was *very* conflicted about Dragons Dogma when I first played it. I’m not as big a fan as most people. I just think it was the better game
Oh, to be able to go through it again for the first time. Truly a magical experience.
You know, I was just going to Bitterblack isle straight from Cassardis, only to behold a beautiful sunrise over the horizon with the Cassardis theme playing. I stopped to behold the scenery a couple minutes because it was simply too beautiful
Replaying Dragons Dogma rn and holy shit these feels knowing the lore
It's happening holy moly.
Chills when the voice kicked in.
This theme always makes me feel like I've come home after being away for a long time. Or, at times, hits me with a longing for such a feeling of "home" that's long gone.
The Face of the mind Reveals many truths, Passion only Moreso and Soever.

Knowing that Dragon's Dogma 2 is coming, one can only hope they include some version of the Cassardis theme.

I never thought I'd love this game as much as I do
I absolutely adore this game and just recently picked it back up again after buying it during the Steam summer sale this year. I forgot how amazing this games soundtrack is.
This track is just gold.
As soon I heard the first tone, I immediately liked it. This game is so magical.
This is such a beautiful remix, years after release. I just finished Dragon's Dogma two month or so ago, and I already feel nostalgic for it. I've played this on repeat so many times now, it just has some sort of effect on me that I can't name completely. Anyhow, I'm glad there's at least one Dragon's Dogma remix and that it is this good.
I listen to this many mornings. It's a good part of my life, being able to hear this.
An old song of an game that its underated but loved by the ones that have it or know it.
I wish i could replace the original Cassardis song with this one, it's beautiful man, great work.
This mix and artwork is still wonderful
Imagine booting uip DD2 and the starting village has a theme with the same lemotif
Nope, sad
Sadly I personally feel like most of the music in DD2 lacks personality and charm
They really dropped the ball on leitmotifs in DD2. A shame, especially with how DD1 used them. Cassardis and the Eternal Return leitmotifs are practically everywhere in the OST, but I struggled picking up even a single one in DD2. The music itself was good, but the melodies themselves weren't particularly memorable, unfortunately.
I would have died if our Arisen was, once again born from the sands of Cassardis. It would have cemented it as a timeless place were legands are born.
This is one the best videos on RUclips, PERIOD. The art, the mix **chef's kiss**
I still play Dragon's Dogma to this day and every time I go back to Cassardis I remember this specific vid. This was also the video that introduced me to your channel, became an instant fan of your beautiful content
When the art you thought was wizardry is just inverted black and white. Still looks beautiful!
+Leocario shiny It was totally wizardry, what are you talking about?
Just finished the game and remembered about this remix. Hits harder than a dragon. And remember - Strength in number, arisen.
That piano at 2:50 took me to a fantasy world... sounds so sad and relaxing.
I love coming back to this. Very healing for me.. Remembering the memories I had with this game and my journey through it is very heartening. Thank you.
Dreams, The sands of an hourglass... An eternaty of awareness....as well as the knowing none can truly triumph. Time marches on for one person, and one person only.
Been looking (longingly) at Dragon's Dogma Online and have been hoping for a long time that Capcom gives the franchise another go.
I'm thinking that new Monster Hunter World engine could be put to good use for a DD2.~
Pocky Styx thatd be fuccin sick
The new monset hunter looked like it handled a lot like dragons dogma as well..
I like to hope that channels like this that cover dragon's dogma even nowadays will give a clear indication to Capcom that we do want to see a sequel
Dragon's Dogma was a test run for the engine used in MHW, to see if they could port it to the PC.
I've been listening to this song for a long time now... But I keep forgetting Kinky Sketch put it together! So gentle, so emotional. I've loved this.
I love and adore this mix to the tiniest moment. It always grounds me so well. Thank you for making something so beautiful out of such lovely music from a better time. 💙
Dragon's Dogma is among my favorite games of all time. Followed by Chrono Trigger, the Souls saga games, Shadow of The Colossus and The Witcher 3. This game deserves a sequel so good as the first, or better of course. ♥
I'm here after six years just to say that Dragon's Dogma 2 is AMAZING :D
What a taste in games. cheers.
Dragon's dogma 2 on the way now!
Go play OG Nier
Maybe I should finally play Chrono Trigger, because you listed my favorite Games! Just the one I haven't played.
@@youaretrulydumbLOL This and NieR Replicant ruined games for me, such amazing experiences
Back at it again in Gransys. Gotta listen to this every time I start a new playthrough
The nostalgia hit like a bullet call the melancholy ambulance
Great mix and great artwork
This reminds me so much of my grandfather, i was playing the game for the first time when he visited and stayed here for a while , that was the last time I saw him before he passed away
Never heard of this game before, but found this track on soundcloud, absolutely beautiful.
I absolutly recommend it, one of the games of all time.
@@Yuuhenshin one of the games of all time?

@@_X1M_ well, Thats a shame but i dont blame you, it feels jankys and u finished on some Parts but the ending is still one of the best endings in gaming history.
THO... Lore wise there IS no ending, just a new beginning, and i like that,
Capcom did what a lot of companies feared, change,
The pawn system is innovative, The soundtracks are immaculate, The combat to this day is quite impressive, especialy the climbing, hell even the DLC Is one of the best in gaming history with the introduction to Bitterblack Isle,
Its one of my favorite games, but i still respect your opinion, this game is not for everyone.
(note: The real fun starts in ng+)
Delightful.
Years later, this is still one of the best mash-ups I've ever heard. Good job dood.
This game is so underrated idk why people dont know this game
Because it was released around the same time Skyrim and Dark Souls came out , so those obviously got way more attention and hype for since they were sequels for Oblivion and Demons Souls respectively so naturally a brand new IP being released along side the sequels to two of most massively critically acclaimed games of the time was obviously overshadowed . Im a recent fan of dragons dogma having only picked up a used copy of the base game for ps3 a few months ago and i can say without shame that ive been missing out big time . Its become One of my favorite games overall and im planning to save up some cash just so i can buy a Nintendo Switch and buy it along with Legend of Mana.
A lovely mix. Absolutely enchanting.
One of the best songs in the game imo 🔥🔥🔥
I would ever have thought to but both together but im glad you did i enjoy both songs has a huge nostalgic reaction i think this is what i needed keep up the good work, good motivation and vides in completing my dragons dogma artwork still have a couple to go
We will never get a better Dragon Dogma Dark Arisen…
I like how the art kinda looks like something from Okami, another extremely underrated Capcom masterpiece.
absolutely beautiful, athough the ending weirded me out a bit, I really loved the game. It's impressive that hearing this song makes me so nostalgic even when its been a few hours since I finished it.
I think the ending was my favorite part of the whole game. It really surprised me that a game with such a dull main quest had such an impact in the story by the final stretch
yeah, it was honestly batass crazy but still outstanding as one of the best endings I have ever seen. Specially all those alternative "bad endings" that explain a lot.
Woohoo, one of my fave artists is also a fellow Dragon's Dogma apologist - I mean fan! Great game, even with it's many flaws (one save file in an open-world RPG? GAH!)
+Drow Nemdas Through the games flaws, it had the best ending to an rpg i've played in years
why is this one of the few games that people have to pint out it has "flaws" when they compliment it, no shit, every game has flaws
Music that heals the soul
I really love this game, so much
Dragon's Dogma :D so beautiful
I LOVE this game!
Damn, dude. This is beautiful.
DRAGON'S DOGMA 2 LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
This is my second favorite song of all time. Rite behind Solace-Saudade...
When I got the sound dlc for DD2 I was hoping this was there
him who knows that I know what he seeks to know, knows it well while he knows not, knows not what I know or know not.
"Today, like every day, waves gently lap at the shore near your tiny village.
The twin blessings of warm sun and bounteous waters afford a simple but pleasant life. Nets are cast and chores completed, friends and families gather to laugh and talk around the fire.
So it has always been, and so it will always be...of this, you are certain.
My fav game waitting for part 2. The guy that directed the game said he had to choose between devil may cry 5 and dd 2. Hopefully we see dd 2 soon if he goes for it
Just started playing this game, where has it been all my life. I love the PS2 arcade-y feeling of the game both in cutscenes and gameplay!

My playstation broke. Now, my saved files from this game is lost. Yeah, I can just replay in another console but when you look back at the journey, it is never the same. I miss you Dragon's Dogma... Hey, man, I own Dragon's Dogma on like 3 different systems. Nothing feels better than starting completely from scratch again. For example, there's so much awesome armor in the game that gets overlooked once you hit BBI and just rock lv3 gear. If you remember how to recreate your character and pawn, I'd say give it a go.
Hey, we’re finally getting a sequel
