August 2020: "Gov. Kim. Reynolds - who has never commuted the sentence of a prisoner serving life behind bars - passed again this month on a chance to do so for a 74-year-old woman who had a groundswell of support for her request. Three past or present wardens at Mitchellville prison, Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller and about 60 others wrote Iowa's parole board supporting the commutation request.

      Reynolds loves her power.
May she never find herself in a bad spot. She might end up in prison.
Run a red light, " by mistake", anything can happen.

This is a great. Video, done with respect. Well done , and these women are treated with a certain dignity by the staff of this prison. It shows you how they live , and the need for a stable way to survive. And i agree with the director it all seems one happy family you dont know what they feel inside. Nancy you did a great job.

If only more prisons can adopt this level of respect & understanding of the needs of prisoners & how they should be treated…cuz if you treat them like animals, they will further act like them. Resources need to be allocated to prisons in order to try to rehabilitate, even if they are never getting out.

I did volunteer work with women in prison. I took them out on a day pass and brought them home for weekend passes. I was treated with respect and kindness by staff, guards, and inmates. Every one of us is only human, and everyone one no matter what, has goodness in them. I miss those days a lot. And as someone said don't ever assume it can never happen to you.

If Cheyenne did time at Chowchilla on The West Coast where Patricia Krenwinkle did time or even Bedford Hills in Upstate New York, she would have either gotten beaten within an inch of her life, sexually violated, or even worse. I would love for her down the line to talk to The Family of Liam Payne or even talk to fellows who missed out on Pop Stardom and saw it wasn't what it was cracked up to be.

A video done with dignity and respect for the prisoners. I was once in prison, but I got out. It was attempted violence against a policeofficer , in a Scandinavian country. I was inside for3,5 years, in the largest womens prison in the country. I met a lof of amazing people while inside, who I actually still miss. I didn’t have any problems with drugs or had any contacts who used drugs before . Luckily I never tested it out while in prison either, I didn’t want to and I was not going to let anyone try to lure me into anything either. You’ve got to have your mind about you when serving time , don’t let the Drigers too close - or anyone with bad intentions. It’s still your life. Now this is 24 years ago, and I was young , with a hefty hot anger. In life, you’ll learn how to controll your anger, and you’ll learn how to get out of situations without using violence. There will always be those who will wish bad upon you, they are often blinded by hate, and they are often super religious. They just don’t realise that they might actually end up in prison too, if they are going to keep on wishing evil upon others. It won’t bring back the baby, or the housband, or the rest of the dead.

In Russia we humans can end up in jail for refusing to comply with conscription into the military. In the U.S. too we can end up in jail for refusing to comply with conscription into the military. In the military where they sometimes in the past and maybe in the present day too at times are being expected to 'volunteer' during experiments being done on them. Not all 'volunteer' subjects are going to perservere under that level of depravity.
