    📒100% Honest, Real Reviews, Advice & Opinions📒
    I would like to make it completely clear that like all the reviews and advice that I give on the #BestBinoculars Reviews video channel and website, this is my honest and completely genuine opinion and I am in no way compensated to describe a binocular in a particular way or with a bias.
    In other words, if I think a binocular or a feature on it is great, I will say so. If I think it is rubbish or it is weak in certain areas, I will also point them out.
    Before writing and publishing any binocular review, I thoroughly research, test, and use the instrument in my office as well as out in the field. I also conduct comprehensive comparisons between the binocular under review with a number of benchmark binoculars in both good and bad light conditions.
    Whilst I make every effort not to, I do make the occasional error or am sometimes supplied with the wrong details. If you spot any mistakes, please feel free to contact me either in the comments section, via social media, or on my site, so that I can rectify them.
    As always, I love getting feedback and your opinions. it is these that help me improve and continue to supply you with content, advice, and reviews that you actually want to watch.

    So many of the videos regarding thermal and other night vision devices are little more than a robot voice reading the specs off the box (or website) so to have a real human actually use the thing and give their subsequent opinion is refreshing to say the least. Thanks!

    I think two very major difference between this and the FLIR Scout TK are the refresh rate and sensitivity. The 50 fps on this unit vs 9 fps on the FLIR scout is a huge deal when we're talking about video smoothness; also, it seems that the TM160 can see more minute differences in heat levels that the FLIR seemingly can't.

    What is the detection distance in field use? How far away could you see a dog sized animal? I don't care about the recognition distance, just how far it can show you a heat signature in the distance.?

      @@Bestbinocularsreviews just an update people, based on this review i bought a tm10 and I'm very pleased. The tm15 was just out of my price range. For scanning my property, it is very effective. I wont see a mouse at a 100yds but will definitely see a person moving about. And the wifi phone feature is extremely helpful. With some effort,, it enables attachment to my shoulder strap so I don't lose my night vision by holding to my eye. I can also snap photos and video right to my phone. At less than 600, a great buy imo. Cheers! And thanks again for posting BBR.

    Honestly, I was going to get the 384, but the 160 impresses me! I did find a off-sea exact replica of this brand, called HikVision, & the Price on their 384 is around $1000 excluding shipping... It is the same unit with rebranding. I'm probably going to either get the AGM160 or save a bit of my money and buy the upgraded HikVision that's on par with the 384.

    Best Binocular Reviews - Could you kindly advise me what the differences are between the AGM ASP-Micro TM160 Thermal Imaging Monocular AND Hikmicro Lynx LC06? I need to choose only one between the two which are locally available, they look to be exactly the same, except on the datasheet the Hikmicro Lynx LC06 seems to have a slighty better FOV. If you had to choose, which one would you get and why? (Location: Southern Africa)

    Leave the buttons as they are. Change your gloves.
    My trigger on my 30-06 is set at Feather Weight. If I try to slip an insulated winter glove in the guard it will set off the rifle. Easily. Long before I feel the pressure. I have shooting gloves. The trigger finger is removable. Under the gloves I wear a Thermasilk or Merino Wool Glove liner (depending on what Iron I'm using). When the finger of the glove is removed it exposes a thermal insulated finger. With the Thermasilk glove liner on you can pick up a dime. Very thin, very sensitive touch, very warm. I also have shooting mittens. Explore the world of shooting gloves (or fingerless gloves) with Merino Wool and Silk Glove Liners and see what you think. Avoid the Hook and Loop like Velcro points to keep the fingers on the glove. Look for the ones with magnets. Silent. Pull the finger off, lay it on the magnet and remove it silently. Some fingers simply fold back out of the way and lay on the in-built magnet.

But now... it just stopped working. I tried every power supply.... and nothing will get it to power on again. What happened? Anyone know what can cause a device to suddenly stop working?

      Hi John, It foes depend on the size of the signature and how much it varies from its surroundings - so for an extreme example you can detect the moon through it which is very far away! But more seriously in my full review, on BBR: www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/AGM-Asp-Micro-TM160-Thermal-Imaging-Monocular-Review-274.htm I list the official detection ranges at the top of the review, which I found to be about right.

So, you could either make something up to fit onto the tripod mount and then attach to your helmet, or perhaps modify one that is designed for NV goggles?

    Hello! What is the maximum distance a person can see at night?

    • @Bestbinocularsreviews
      @Bestbinocularsreviews  Год назад +1

      Hi Constantin, It all depends on what you are looking at - You can see the moon and that is about 360 000 km away! I know this is an extreme example, but it all depends on how big it is and how much its temperature varies from what is around it. But for more normal objects, take a look at my review: www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/AGM-Asp-Micro-TM160-Thermal-Imaging-Monocular-Review-274.htm on there I list the detection ranges of things like vehicles and humans.

    • @Bestbinocularsreviews
      @Bestbinocularsreviews  3 года назад

      Hi Basheer - It depends on what you are looking at and how much the temperature varies compared to it's surroundings. I go through this in detail and what distances you can expect to see certain things in the review www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/AGM-Asp-Micro-TM160-Thermal-Imaging-Monocular-Review-274.htm

    • @basheermahmad9378

      10 miles?

    • @Bestbinocularsreviews
      @Bestbinocularsreviews  3 года назад +1

      It really depends on what you are looking at - so I could see the moon and that is about 238,855 miles away from Earth. But as I say, look at the review (www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/AGM-Asp-Micro-TM160-Thermal-Imaging-Monocular-Review-274.htm) on the top section there is a list of the detection, recognition, and Identification ranges of different objects. So a vehicle you could probably detect at just over half a kilometer away, but at this distance, you would not see a mouse.
