I'll do a bit of an explanation:
*This does not let you install FPKGs or retail PKGs by themselves,* since you need the license files for the games(normally in the formats of .rif and .idx). Jailbroken PS4s can install fake PKGs since the license is embedded within the file and the installer for something like goldhen for example can read the license, but a non-jailbroken PS4, of course, cannot, so you need the license files separately. That's why he's able to install IDU demos, since the dumps for the ISOs of the demos include the licenses.

With this method, you can play the P.T. demo on firmware 10.00?
→ I tested on 8.52 version but it works on other versions 9.03/9.04/9.50/9.60/10.50/11.02

Works on latest OFW. Too bad that it doesn't install anything else than the IDU discs. I tried a FPKG because I was corrious and I instant get a "Update Done" message.
It can theoretically install anything if you can get a .rif file to go along with the PKG.

Mine gets stuck on - *updating Idu*. The notification stays there and does not work

Hello, is it okay to install the latest game update (1.4) on a PS4 fake package game (1.0) and skip the updates (1.2, 1.3) in between, installing directly over the base version of the game? Will it (update 1.4) cover the skipped updates?

Why
you need to have the license to play games on retail consoles, unless you Jailbreak you cannot install non license games (aka games you have brought), BUT you can install game updates without using the PSN or updating your console software.
So basically on my 10.71, I can finally update cyberpunk 2077 (retail) from 1.00 to 1.61, without having to update my PS 4 to the latest firmware.
