- The carpenter needed a home, and just like the blacksmith he needs shade when he's working. Perfect, then, that many Cambodian houses are built like this!

Thank you! Those magic chests are difficult to hide, but sooo useful. You mentioned such a mod to Valheim I think - where you build and craft straight out of your chests? These blue chests are almost like that.

I built a wood house for my carpy, as I think that fits better, but such a stone house also has its charms (and under-stair-storage^^)

Yeah, he might dabble some in stone masonry by making the furniture and stuff, but he is a carpenter first and foremost.
Great job, lots of contrast, depth and reference material... accenting furniture etc to give it that flair.. Keep up the great work.

Very cool build! And obviously I love the inspiration. For Brainheim Season 2 I was actually thinking of building a Cambodian village for my home instead of a castle like season 1.

@splashopain Also, I appreciate that you pronounced Khmer correctly. That made me smile. Soooo many people don't pronounced it khmai, butvinstead pronounce it as it "should be" based upon spelling.
@@kongvealsurvives Yeah, I would not have thought of that at all wasn't it for you 😆 Do you know how hard it was to find the word written with the correct phonetics? I wanted to make sure I had it right before I recorded it, but the English pronunciation was everywhere! I gave up the IPA-charts and went for RUclips instead - that was much more fruitful.
