Oh my, almost had heart failure thinking little Finn had health issues! What a relief! Just found your channel last week and saw a hike with you and cute Finn. She has mad hiking skills! Really enjoy your videos! Look forward to seeing more of adorable Finn!
Bloody hell Glenn, don’t do that, I read the title and thought we’d lost Finneus! Aww glad to see it was just she’s going to her mum. Cracking video mate. 😀🥾⛰🐶
Lovely lovely Finn. I was blessed to have shared my life with my sweet gal roxy (my jack russel) for 19 years. White as snow like your lovely lass. They're are embedded in your heart forever.
As someone who lives in a village on the trough of bowland. Thank you for visiting us and appreciating the beauty. Its no lakes for dramatic but the peace and emptiness you get here is unmatched i think in England.
My heart goes out to you. I know that feeling too well. We have adopted many fur babies over the years. When one is lost, we adopt another one...not to replace but so that the life of the one gone, is not in vain but served to make room for another baby to fill the dog-shaped hole in everyone's heart. God Bless.
Same here. Remember those who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge still guard us and are waiting for us. Love never dies. My condolences on your physical loss.
There was a moment when I thought you were losing the beautiful Finn, and it wasn't good for my heart. My dogs are my world; they love you unconditionally, and you can share all your thoughts and feelings with them. I love your videos with Finn! 😁
Aw. This makes me sad. You said she lives in absolute luxury when she's with her Mom. That's good because all dogs and cats (I have 3) should be pampered. Thank you for bringing us such gorgeous pictures of your countryside. I'm in the US and I'm jealous. I can see in your videos that you do appreciate where you live. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I just love watching Finn and the love you have for each other. We’ve just lost our older black lab that I adored as much as you do Finn. Fortunately we have two younger labs to ease our pain. Forest of Bowland is lovely, not too far from us. Enjoyed this video.
Was feeling really bad for you, thought this was the end of Finn! Thank goodness it's not! Love the videos, especially the ones with the star of the show in! 😂
Hi Finn and her Dad! Greetings from Aotearoa/New Zealand 😀 Just found your channel today, and really enjoying the beautiful views, the chatter and the adventures of the two of you. Thank you! Little mate, Millie, smooth haired Jack RussellxFoxy is enjoying watching Finn!
Your videos are a breath of fresh air and lift my spirits a lot. When I toured England, Scotland and Wales in 1971, I did not get to visit the Lake District, which I regret greatly. Your videos make me feel as if I am there.
My heart sank when I read farewell! Finn is the most adorable walking companion 😊 Watching with cup of tea and a couple of biscuits to dunk 😂 perfect way to round off Sunday evening watching your video
Crikey i thought when i saw the opening titles it was bad news ...fortunately it wasn't whst i thought!!!! The Finnmeister is a,legend on you tube & long may this go on ❤
I've got a new name for you Glenn. "The travelling chef of Bowland", 😄 you've got a healthy appetite. I love this area, we stopped off there a few years ago. Finn is so loved by all of us. 😘A great van camp.
Just woken up from oversleeping (damn cat at 4am) having flash backs to walking around the dales yesterday then watching cooking with black crag. Now having banana on toast for breakfast 😅
Found your channel this evening. My partner and I have just recently acquired a VW camper and we can’t wait to get to the Lake District so I am loving this 👍
best walk in the area is from the base of parlick > saddle end > saddle fell > path down bleadale water (os doesnt show its a connected path but it is!) > langden castle > fiendsdale head > fairsnape fell > back to parlick................. a very different and unique walk if you fancy it. its excellent!
The RUclips algorithm popped you up and I am so glad it did! Thoroughly enjoying your videos and your down to earth, genuine and honest style. Awesome and thank you 😊🙏
What a lovely video. I found it strangely comforting and peaceful. Finn is beautiful...awww❤. Ive never ever heard of Banana on a curry, thats done it, im going to have to try this now lol 😂
Your affection for your dog is commendable. And I love the ‘daddy daughter day’ comment. You make it look so easy to just go away for a night, and sleep in your van. Ames me believe it would be easy enough for me to do the same, with my husky
watched your last video ,,glad to hear the little one is alright and of for a fortnight holiday with mummy,Im sure you as I do miss her..take care Douglas
Great to see your bond with your little rascal, new subscriber, hiking , camping , northern wit and most importantly terrier antics 👍 Greets from a fellow Terrier owner just 'tother' side of the tops
The dawn, perfect time to see and feel nature at its most wondrous form of beauty, and that shares with us the most awareness of awakening within. Like breathing in a different air.
Hell's teeth, Glenn. My heart almost stopped when I read your title! I perked up when I saw the curry though 😅 And the ToB is awesome. Stay strong, Finn will be back soon ❤
Like many my heart was also in my mouth when i read the title! Shame you didn't have time to head up the Brook to Langdon Castle (don't get excited, it's a sheep shed!) it's a beautiful valley.
Wonderful channel, great videos. I haven’t visited the Lake District, but after watching your videos it’s now a must. Finn is delightful, really cute and your Curry was mouth watering. You’re a great photographer too. Kev 😀👍
Ahhh… yes. The small furry ones do tend to leave paw prints on your heart and it’s not easy to be without them, even temporarily. Been there, felt that. Thanks for letting us have this little glimpse into your personal life as well as your amazing walks. 🙂
Im not surprised Finn needs a couple of weeks with her mum .Banana and curry thats madness ! Now I'm off to eat my cheese, jam and cucumber sandwiches . Love to you both stay safe up those hills .
I work between Burnley and Blackburn on an industrial estate. We have Oyster catchers and Common Terns flying around everyday. Both have nested here for at least the last 5 years and our maintenance section give us regular updates whenever they have to go on the roofs.
Cracking video! I'm glad Finn is actually ok and only staying with her Ma for a fortnight. A great van camp with great surroundings, I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be trying Banana on my next homemade Chicken Curry (I'm more of a breast man!). Only one thing though Glenn.........ORANGE CROCS!
I love walking around the Forest of Bowland - my stomping ground. There’s a great circular walk from where you camped heading towards Langdon Castle - not a castle but a shooting hut (not very exciting) & the walk has some lovely moorland views.
Used to drive through there is my first car, a 63 Morris Cooper. The Trough is a magical place whatever your transport. Haven’t been back for years , but the smell of that curry might just tempt me. Thank you.
Loved the video and watched it right to the end, the Trough of Bowland is my second favourite motorcycle run, done it five times this year. A Great burger van used to park at the place you were camped.
Completely understand when you mention about leaving your dog when he goes to your ex. Its amazing how much of a bond you can get with dogs, they are so loyal and caring. It’s heartbreaking really, and I have the same with my cocker spaniel. Great videos pal, keep it up 👍🏻🙌🏻
We will all miss your little dog, the place where you are parked is one of my favourite hikes, the footpath opposite where your sat, leads you along langden brook and into the fells, bearing right awesome place pal, curry looks good , but banana 😮, nice van by the way, you and Finn take care 👍
Mate I love your content, nothing quite like the bond between a man and his dog! I've had Jack Russell's all my adult life. Your videos with Finn all ways bring a smile to my face. If you fancy something a little different try Brewdog Layer Cake (marshmallow and Chocolate Stout) it's EPIC.
Hi Glenn and Finn I just started following you enjoying the content. I have a cocker spaniel named Ted not yet got a van but looking. I also follow a guy called forestry forest over in Canada and his dog rocco regards Cliff and family and Ted 🏴🇬🇧✊️
You silly git, you scared me, thought Finn was off to the great campsite in the sky. Glad it's not the case, lovely little pooch. ❤ PS, Don't give her back, will miss her. 😢
Ah! Thought you were teasing us! Some good walks in the Forest of Bowland including Nicky Nook and Beacon Fell. Also Longridge Fell was the first Fell Wainwright ever went up!
Ohhh van camping, you can definitely do a curry dinner outside in Canada! Yum!!! I’m now going to try your recipe! And yes, my Portuguese family always had a banana with the spicy dinner! Never heard of anyone else doing it!! What a beautiful evening/hiking video. Love that you get the time you do with your sweet Finn ❤
Thank god the little dog is ok! My heart 😢. Loved this vlog, watched the whole thing like I was there with you just having a chat. Finn is the sweetest little dog. Very new to.your channel and loving it. Thank you.
Hey man would love to see a road trip video with van camping think that would be so cool. Cause I really enjoyed seeing you drive through those absolutely beautiful areas, think it would make a great video
Yes, we were worried that Finn was sick! Whew! So glad she is just fine. We love her and look to see her again soon. Enjoyed the van. Not sure about curry though😅..
I’ve not watched much of your stuff but I think that’s about to change 😃😃😃so I’m now subbed so I promise I’ll watch as many vids as I can . I’d love to sell my flat and buy a decent van and just travel but I don’t think it’s as easy as people make out plus not sure how my 3 pups would take to it .
Hi, we're quite new to your channel, really love Finn (she's such a cutie) & seeing all the beautiful views & hearing about the areas you go to. We love walking but sadly can't do so much now as i have a bad hip & my hubby suffers from agoraphobia. Wanted to say thank-you bringing the outdoors into our home & for the recommendation of the Hazy Jane guava, my husband was intrigued so purchased some for himself & he really enjoyed it! 😊
We loved this so much we now have this curry as a staple dish 👌do you have any other cookouts planned? This was very enjoyable to watch, love your videos as they inspire us on our next adventures. Thank you for sharing with us 😊🏕️

I saw your words and it made me cry because I lost my boy a couple of weeks ago and I’m still struggling. But I’m so very glad you still have Finn xxx
Beaming your heart all the light and love I am .
My heart goes out to you. I know that feeling too well. We have adopted many fur babies over the years. When one is lost, we adopt another one...not to replace but so that the life of the one gone, is not in vain but served to make room for another baby to fill the dog-shaped hole in everyone's heart. God Bless.
Really sorry to hear that 😔
"We" lost my boy about three years ago now and although we have another dog now (who is as "mad a s box of frogs") I still miss my boy so much.
Same here. Remember those who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge still guard us and are waiting for us. Love never dies. My condolences on your physical loss.

After one of the most challenging years of my life, I just wanted to post what great peace and joy your videos have brought me. Thank you so much

Youre such a charming guy. And dont ever make me worry about Finn again. Watch those step 2's btw.
Just discovered your channel. Love it! You make me miss my 2 Jacks, Mary and Kipp. They lived for a good time, into 15 and 17. Miss them terribly.

You are so relaxed and chatty. My daughter just sent me yr video. I will now follow. Luv yr dog.
Narrow roads in the hills remind me Ireland, scratching the rental against hedges. Nice spot for a camp. 🏕🏞
Ahhh… yes. The small furry ones do tend to leave paw prints on your heart and it’s not easy to be without them, even temporarily. Been there, felt that.

Lovely park up there, we live in Longridge where you passed through and often head off into the trough for a coffee on the hills.

Great video, I like the Forrest of Bowland, some nice wild camping out there

Watch out Hairy Bikers. The hairy hiker is coming for your culinary jobs. Cracking looking curry and a place I've never been.
Banana on curry...yes we exist! Always used to do this back home in South Africa.
I'm surprised you don't have a little TV and streaming stick set up in there. The black alloys are 💯👌🏻
The food looks yum! Finn is so cute! When I got divorced I took my dog. I moved to England (From NL). What a life she had in Yorkshire.
Hey man would love to see a road trip video with van camping think that would be so cool. Cause I really enjoyed seeing you drive through those absolutely beautiful areas, think it would make a great video
Thank you.... It's already done. Scotland van trip from April but it's taking a while to edit 😩
Oyster catchers go inland to breed between March and July 🙌🏻

I caught your radio saying Mastodon. Nice choice haha. I can imagine we listen to the same music haha.
7%! Steady 😂 - that curry looked like top scrannage! 👍🍺☕🍛
Hi, we're quite new to your channel, really love Finn (she's such a cutie) & seeing all the beautiful views & hearing about the areas you go to. Thank God Finn is ok!!
We loved this so much we now have this curry as a staple dish 👌do you have any other cookouts planned?
This was very enjoyable to watch, love your videos as they inspire us on our next adventures. Thank you for sharing with us 😊🏕️

An unusual one for you, Glenn.
You should see more of Bowland. A stunning place, less populated than its neighbours, the lakes and dales. There were many other places familiar to me too, including where you swapped Finn over. I won't name it, but it's only 10 minutes from me.
Tfs, Paul
my favourite spot in Lancs for sure, is the Forest of Bowland!
haha noticed lower Wheelton on there as well! I grew up just up the road at higher Wheelton 👋 small world.
Fantastic footwear choice, can't beat the Crocs
This is the sweetest video! Finn is loved! Thank you for sharing! ❤
I really like the lighting in this video. Very good shots from the car when you are driving in the beginning. Are you using go pro on your chest? That trees next to your van looks one moment like wall paper, very unreal and beautiful picture. Thank you for sharing 💚.
Just went up the pike today via Mickledore, then Broad crag, down to piers gill then up Lingmell. All inspired by your great videos, thanks so much
