The glass comes out of the furnace at 1100 degrees C. its then shaped with various wooden, paper and metal hand-tools until its too cold to work with. Then its re-heated in the furnace mouth so the peice can be finished by the master.

what is that material he uses as 0:23? curious caust it can withstand the temp of really hot glass and doesnt burn the guy's hand..

Tahlia Kho wet news paper. It's a super cheap and very common tool for glass blowers

The steam and charred paper create a vapor barrier. As long as there's moisture it will allow you to do what is basically the horizontal equivalent of throwing clay. It is pretty much my favorite tool
