Great review as always-just got an alpine white M2 and love it. I do disagree with you as an alternative to a Mustang. They're totally different cars even though they're both RWD. The Mustang GT is also 20k less money so it's really in a completely different segment. Ford is already discounting them left and right.
New fully loaded Mustangs top out at the same price now not comparable to a base no option GT and Fords target for years was to attract the M4 M2 buyers with equal levels of performance
We had the '22 230i xDrive and loved it as well...the lighter B48 4 cylinder (vs the B58 six) felt more nimble/less heavy (because it was !) and provided plenty of power for us; saved us purchase price and insurance costs too. That said, BMW makes excellent straight six engines...they are powerful and buttery smooth...as in our '23 x3 M40i. Test drive both 4 and 6 cylinder versions of the 2 series.
If you want to quickly turn off the right-hand screen, just push and hold the radio volume switch for 3 seconds and it turns off the screen. A simple push of the rotary wheel on the center console will bring back the screen. Nice video…great constructive criticism. Thanks.

Actually an easier way to turn off the screen is go to shortcuts and there’s a button for it. Pressing the radio button for 3 seconds with the car turned off, turns both screens off.
I didn’t remove the cdv but it’s funny the M2 is smoother to engage than my previous G80 M3 manual. Maybe BMW updated something? I did other mods in my other video of this M2
