Top 100 removal spells. Top 100 artifacts Top 50 Commanders Ive heard you briefly entertain the idea of making these kinds of videos and im just here to do a little nudge :D
Deputy’s two-color mana cost probably is what hurt it. While we had all the colors easily available, holding up that was probably challenging to keep up with.
I'm glad we got to tell the obligitory ringworld story. Which is why it's less of a disc in the original art and more of a ring. Also, that Larry Niven fan? his name is Richard Garfield, I'm pretty sure. Larry wrote a short novel that's about a fantasy setting where mana is pulled from the very land.
1550🎉🎉🎉 plague rats is one of the first cards i had, i went a bought as many as i could find and made a deck with about 20 or so before i knew about the four of a card rule, still collect them 30 years later.
Larry Niven was a fantastic author, in my top ten with Asimov, Pohl, David Drake (no relation), Philip K.Dick, and Heinlein. Helping Hand is pretty dece. How do you feel it compares with Raise the Past?
I get that Nevenyrral is cool, and has his own iconic disc... but hes not a good commander, deffinitly not top 50... I cant believe you put him so close to Brago...
We are quickly closing in on half a year of these (182) and this series has become apart of my daily routine
Same here!

Larry Niven wrote the Ringworld series, which I believe the 'disk' is reference to!
He wrote a whole fantasy series where people took the mana from the land and did magic with it.
@@corriedebeer799exactly. The very concept of mana as it exists in Magic came from Larry Niven's "What good is a Glass Dagger?"
7.9 for Helping Hand is nuts! But to each their own.
Brago gets a 7 from me. Resolving something like Phyrexian Injestor with him on the board always brings me joy.
Great analysis, love your insights on MTG! 🃏👏
You’re influencing my buy list so much with these videos 😅

Somehow I don't think Dark Banishing is very good in mono black cube.
History time is interesting.
I’d give Brago a 9. There’s a reason why a card that old (10 years is a long time in current Magic) is still highly played in 2024

What do you give plague rats? All the cheese. All the cheese and move along
Deputy of aquiitals gets what honorary five ?
Yeah, that deputy of aquittals is very reminiscent of the frogs from bloomburrow, and they just weren't that great.

I’ve never seen Brago do anything that is not busted. Never.
Check on Nevinnyrral's pronunciation. I always went with "nev-in-NEAR-ull". How about the rest of you?
I always said "ne-VIN-er-al", same as Dev did in this video. I wonder if there is a canon pronunciation.
elesh norn machine mommy and brago are married
