- The New Abarth 595 Esseesse was on display at the Abarth HQ Meet and i got to get a first look at what the newest flagship car from abarth has to offer in the form of a right hand drive UK spec. The Abarth 595 Esseesse sits at the top of the Abarth range and also sits higher than the 595 competizione. As part of Abarths 70th anniversary it has very nice 70th abarth stitching in the carbon sabelt seats alongside a side brushed aluminium plaque and the akrapovic exhaust. Also I hope you enjoyed seeing the meet and Abarth HQ!

Stef I have two questions: would you ever consider owning an Abarth again? And would you buy an Alfa Giulietta QV?
Absolutely would. I almost bought a 124 spider but managed to get into a alfa 4c so naturally went for my dream car. If I had the money I would daily an abarth 595 and use the 4c as a weekend toy
The interior of Ed's car is next level!!! I totally agree with you and those others who have said that this generation of the 595 range needed more power, do you think that Abarth don't want to make this range faster than the 695 biposto?
I’m not sure. They stopped biposto sales a while ago so shouldn’t be held to ransom over that car. Next 595/695 I would like to see over 200bhp. Fingers crossed!

What a gorgeous car. Glad to be a part of the abarth club. Just got my 500 abarth 2 months ago. Just worried about this cars reliability. It gets a pretty bad wrap.
Mechanical diff is optional, but you can buy it alone (without performance pack), because the car comes with carbon seats covers. Other optionals: bi-xeno, carbon dashboard and GRIGIO ASFALTO paint. Nothing more should be added. Base price is Competition +3k, but if you fully spec both the esseesse is not a bad deal and it has Akrapovic...

Why did you buy the Alfa instead of the 124 stef? Only because I’m thinking of buying a 124
I’ve always wanted the 4c. I would have got in a 4c eventually and the price difference between the two thanks to my finance guy was not that much so I went straight for the 4c
So - the new esse esse has a different exhaust and some stuck on bits. Personally I would prefer more power. What a missed opportunity.
I think everyone shares the opinion that Abarth need to release more power or a power upgrade option for the 1446 turbo. It could do 200bhp easy as people are tuning these turbos to 230bhp and they are reliable
That camber isn’t to much at all! It looks tidy, it’s when it starts to go jdm style “collapsed suspension” stance its to much. haha. 🙌🏻

@abarth500gto on insta. HRE tuning do a lot of development and off products for the Abarth range. Drop him a lot on insta 👍🏻👍🏻

You may be used to the old graphics. The 2016+ models have a slighly different style of lines and font compared to the old ones.
As a 595 Comp owner it's such a shame these specials beit 695s (or whatever this essesse real is) hasn't got all the bells and whistles.
It’s the top of the range 595 now. Sits above the comp now. All be it has the same power
@@StefABtv thanks for reply. But my point was that you spec all that (granted badges and seat embroidery you can't). Certainly I've got a very complete spec'd comp (literally everything bar carbon seats as wife didn't get on with them). I want there to be things on this which go beyond. For example I've got a carbon dash. I'd love it if they put on OEM carbon exterior trim trim like a diffuser or front splitter. Don't get me wrong I love my car. But I first drove a early gen Abarth with an essesse kit, roll cage when they first launched and it just seemed more raw and special.
I love watching your videos but it makes me sad to see all the great European Abarth models, since the North American models are horrible. They don't have many models especially as many that you have, and then the options for the cars available are also very poor. I looked into getting a European model shipped to Canada and they won't allow it due to road certification issues. Really makes me sad.

See Bert is still kicking about in his poverty spec 124. Be sure to purchase from the AOC store so he can not send the thing you bought out to you. A slither of shite on an other wise brilliant car scene.
Not impressed with Abarth at all recently. They really need to stop going through the parts bin and bring out a proper new abarth 595 with more power. I expected it from the 124 and it ended up a colossal disappointment which lead me to another car brand.

Not sure how my 124 is considered a “poverty spec” when it has all available options fitted, as well as probably being one of the few cars they managed to sell without a single £1 of discount!

@@Scenyx7260 and he has bitten! Sold it 4 months ago, moved to the dark side. I'd have loved another but the lack of proper performance from factory has been disappointing the last 3 years. The 124 was the nail in the coffin for me with all things abarth, massive waste of such a good opportunity. Price has become ridiculous for what is on offer these days as well. Hopeful they bring something up to date to the market by the time I'm shopping for another car.
