I have never been interested in boats before but this channel just changed my life. Now instead of dreaming of owning a car I can't afford, its a boat.
When i was 11 I dreamed of owning a yacht or supercar but now that I’m older I realised it’s not that easy neither for a supercar I just keep hoping especially on the supercar
This boat seems like there aren't very many compromises at all, looks like it lacks nothing. Fantastic. Loved the aft section on the sundeck, really great showcase of the use of space that typically seems like an after thought. Fairline wasn't really on my radar until I started watching your videos, they are now in a big way. Thanks!
Best boat presenter by some margin. Another great film, lovely tone and pace as always. Infectious enthusiasm. Proper blast of sunshine on a boring day. Thank you.
Nick, this is the one. What a fab boat, it has style, size, features and class and seems to roll up into a really manageable package. Not to big to handle on your own but big enough to enjoy with friends and family. Now I just have to figure out a way to pay for it. Lottery tickets in hand and you can be the guest of honor for the first weekend aboard. 😀 well done Fairline. Amazing.
That's the difference between you and other vloggers - you are willing to make that extra effort for us your followers/viewers and negotiate very early morning filming rights - while many others are still tucked up in bed or nursing another hangover!... So very impressed with your commitment to your channel, to us and your pastime (you're like that kid in the candy store ).
Beautifully finished boat. The fold out 'beach club' sofa is great for drying off...and for crew to chill out at anchor. The protected staircase to the flybridge is great.
That crew cabin actually looked comfortable for a change, and the same high gloss wood finish as the rest of the boat was used for the accents in there as well, which was an unexpected touch; even the heads compartment retained the same quality stainless steel fixtures as the owner accommodations. A boat builder that actually puts some thought into crew spaces speaks loudly for the company culture IMO. And another random thought: I really, really liked the choice of club seating and the glass paneling for an unobstructed view on the aft portion of the flybridge, almost like a terrace balcony, wonderful. There's already plenty of sunbeds on the bow as it is, so sunbathers can get their fill regardless. Fairline is giving Princess a run for their money with this one, I think.
8:10… awwwwww in the background you see the Hotel Splendid where we spent a wonderful time. Thank you Nick for the superb review of the boat and bringing back good memories at the same time ❤️
If I had the money I would be hard pressed to choose between the 68 Squadron and the 65 GTO...........both absolutely beautiful machines, typical Fairline design with stunning materials. Luxurious yes, but contemporary and cleanly styled and very classy, just gorgeous machines.
Exactly. Crew cabins tend to be for the charter market, for an owner-operator you can have that as a spare cabin, or as storage for the water toys, a shower and toilet for bathers, etc.
Having spent many many (mostly inebriated) hours on a Fairline Targa 40 I constantly come back to this video! This boat is so well appointed. Gorgeous! Thanks Nick 👌🏻

Yet another great tour Nick, I'll never tire of watching these, I find myself now planning an uninterrupted 20 minute watching slot and even putting them before any new wristwatch videos, unheard of!! These boats really are fabulous, hats off to the designers to fit so much accommodation in, surprised by the very usable crew/additional guest cabin on this one too. Nice to see your subscriber numbers rapidly growing, word's getting round!! I think the National Lottery must owe you a big thank you too for all their extra ticket sales! 👍
Another great tour! (It´s becoming quite a nice habbit! :D ). I think this just became my favourite boat in this segment! Very nice use of space and absolutely lovely styling both inside and out. I especially like the wood-inserts in the salon roof. They break up what would otherwise have been a very large, boring white surface. The helm-stations also look top-of-the-line. Often, visibility from the lower helm is more than a bit compromised by the exterior styling with either too narrow windows so you loose sight-line to the horizon in anything but calm conditions, or too wide mullions stealing enough visibility to hide a small aircraft carrier at short range. Absolutely none of that nonsense on this boat! :)
@@visionist7 my guess is design. Keeping the boat looking good. When the helm seat often is ser quite far back from the windscreen, the effective vertical field of view becomes dangerously narrow. The same goes for the side-windows on the opposite side of the helm, the distance between the helm and the window makes the window effectively narrower. One of my biggest annoyances is that many (particularly smaller boats (30-35-foot range) seems to be made for quite small captains. Several boats Ive looked at at boat shows have the top of the side window so low that if I turn my head to the right, Im staring into the hard-top side above the window rather than trough the window itself. How it can be possible to produce and sell a boat that can do 30+ knots without good visibility from the helm is beyond me...

Nice change from the old Fairline models. There are couple of little things that would annoy me though such as the backrest on the "beach club" bench seat doesn't look like it sits far enough out from the bodywork above it so you don't hit your back on it when leaning back. Great looking yacht, I've been a Princess nut swinger for years but if I was ever in a position to buy a 68-70 foot yacht I'd have to give this boat serious consideration. Lush. Cheers Nick
Galley aft for the win again! People spend their time in the Med on deck and out the back, but want the sleeping volume downstairs. Best layout all round in a size that could be owner operated. Now... all I need is a medium lottery win!
What a great boat. I could really get on with this one and in this configuration. I think the 4 berth would make it a tad tight down on that level? The rear flybridge seating are is a real winner for me, you can watch what is going on down at the beach club but just far enough away to be avoiding any hijinx antics. The finish did look very good and rather beautiful imo. I take it that a tender would go on the hi-lo platform? Another great boat and an excellent your of it as well. Thank you for sharing.
I miss the teak on the fore & side decks. I know it's more practical this way but I still miss it. I guess it's optional though. Would Fairline incorporate a watertight crawl hatch from the master cabin into the engine room, for a fee do you think? They'd need to move some ancillaries in the engine room proper but it seems doable. Gives you an extra escape route as well as a way to access the gubbins without getting them wet.
Great tour again of a beautiful yacht, which I would be very happy with if I could afford one. However, after watching countless yacht tours, I do start to realize that almost all of them share very similar floor plans. I'm secretly hoping for a yacht that is wildly different from all the others. Or maybe I'm just spoiled with all these great yacht videos. ;)
This channel has made me really want to make money just to buy one of these amazing boats and have it in the med! Short flight from the uk and you could live on that boat for weeks
Awesome on the 50k subs!! Keep bringing the awesome content! Love the seating at the rear of fly. Only drawback with this layout is the dining/seating area. Let's face it, we're all TV & media junkies, I'd want to lounge out to watch Aquaholic reviews on my £1.7m boat, not sit upright at the dining table! 😂
I thought that too. Also that television should be much bigger. Where to put the speakers though? I guess you could put them in the deckhead but that doesn't give the best sound
@@MaybuTron soundbars belong in crew cabins :-( Edit: the television in the master cabin is off-centre too, although I don't think that can be helped with the central entrance. At least there you could incorporate some decent speakers around the cabin, and a subwoofer and/or tactile transducer under the bed.
Lovely boat i like the club tropicana seating area george micheal playing in the background, and the pop up shower very clever concept. Some very nice design features through out. Not quite a Princess but wouldn't say no.
Good morning and well done getting 50k subs that’s fab. I Always look forward to ur vids when they pop up. I make myself as comfy as pos then off I go. Cheers mate and thanks for the tour yacht tour ,absolutely lush inside n out.
It’s interesting that Fairline haven’t chosen to line the engine room the the reflective sound and heat insulation that a number of other manufacturers use.
A half timber saloon deckhead (did some one have a old moggie car ?) you might get that if a certain age in the UK As for the flybridge (15 out of 10) put that on a princess F70 and your have some boat
The finish and use of space is really high end, class stuff! I just saw your interview with James from Tristan's SYC's channel which I also follow. My ears pricked up when I heard you refer to an upcoming 60M M/Y tour you have in the editing suite ;) Thats big news and a big yacht, cant wait.
A very nice 68. Fairline has really risen since the older models. Personally, I don't like that the galley is as you come in from the aft. I would go with their options for that. Otherwise, an eye catcher.

I'm secretly hoping for a yacht that is wildly different from all the others. Or maybe I'm just spoiled with all these great yacht videos. ;)
Sirena 88. That's all I'm saying. Stay tuned! ;)
Very nice. Handsome boat. Seems like a good value, imo.
This channel has made me really want to make money just to buy one of these amazing boats and have it in the med! Short flight from the uk and you could live on that boat for weeks
Weeks? Dream big! You could live on board in the Mediterranean from April until October.
@@visionist7 I think I spotted a soundbar on the ceiling above the TV, it's not an ideal layout.
@@MaybuTron soundbars belong in crew cabins :-(
Edit: the television in the master cabin is off-centre too, although I don't think that can be helped with the central entrance. At least there you could incorporate some decent speakers around the cabin, and a subwoofer and/or tactile transducer under the bed.
Very nice video Nick, my only worry about this boat is the fly bridge tilting cover , if that after time may be licking, my opinion
Thank you very much, and glad you're enjoying them! Loads more to come :)
Really love the fairlines. Great boat
It’s interesting that Fairline haven’t chosen to line the engine room the the reflective sound and heat insulation that a number of other manufacturers use.
Maybe that's an option?
Great job both you and Fairline 👏👏👏
It reminds a lot of the princess Y85. Just smaller. What do you think?
A half timber saloon deckhead (did some one have a old moggie car ?) you might get that if a certain age in the UK
As for the flybridge (15 out of 10) put that on a princess F70 and your have some boat
It's coming very soon! :)
Jacuzzi possible on the back of flybridge?
Awesome footage Mike
A very nice 68. Fairline has really risen since the older models. Personally, I don't like that the galley is as you come in from the aft. I would go with their options for that. Otherwise, an eye catcher.
