The 'extra equipment' on this boat at this price point lifts it to a new level of desirability! The option to add refrigerator/freezer and storage space, the washer/dryer, and even the ironing board make for comfortable cruising.

I want to laugh uproariously at Nick's "the last thing you want when you are out at sea is loose stools" joke, but his delivery was so dry, I am not even sure it was a joke. Is "loose stools" not a possible innuendo for diarrhea in the UK like it is in the USA? Whether it was intentional or not, it was a hilarious one liner...and props to Nick either way. 😂💯✌

Big Improvement on the previous generation but that was also fantastic. Having worked for the Caterpillar dealership for 31 years I do like to see the C18 engines. Back in the day ACERT was at the time the biggest investment that they had ever made in the history of Caterpillar. The new layout is excellent in the saloon and I do like the practical utility room, it's just the little things. For a Friday afternoon this is great viewing once again Nick. Have a great weekend.....

I'm pretty sure buying one of these new isn't an option for the vast majority of us (could be wrong). But since I've been checking out yacht world once in a while I look at these with an eye to 10 years or more in the future. Add ten to twenty years to that beautiful boat and it IS something a lot of people could manage if they really wanted to. You're not going to want to wait that long but just know there are boats available now that were fantastic 10-20 years ago that have probably been well taken care of.

Awesome. I especially like the ability to change your Refrigeration from freezer to regular refrigerator. Very insightful thinking as your Refrigeration needs will change as you use the boat differently. If you're going away for awhile you would probably want more Frozen. If you are having a sizable crowd for a day party you would want more regular Refrigeration. I'm not particular to high-gloss wood. Same wood but in a matte finish would be perfect for me. I don't think I would have thought to look under the seating for my Crockery. Other little innovative things like the small stool that is fix to the floor but hinged in the owner's cabin so it won't move around when you're traveling

  • @grondhero

I'm guessing the difference between "re-imagined" and "2.0" is similar to the difference between "bespoke" and "custom;" the former words are more expensive. ;)
This is a really nice boat for its size. I really like the 4th cabin option of putting extra food storage (and the ironing board!) down there. Thank you for the video.

What a brilliant motoryacht nick, Fairline have built an absolute beautiful boat with their Squadron 68 flybridge, it caters for everyone and everything. Another brilliant tour nick can't wait for the sea trial!

@@AQUAHOLIC the bell will alert me, oh, have you any desires to do a sea trial of the Targa 46 that you covered in lockdown, it's a lovely boat and no one has (in this country) done one as yet. I know that they're a lovely motorboat and I am taken with this boat, perhaps may even contact Wessex Marine and purchase one. 😀

You know the More WE.. yes Samantha does too, look at all the boats which, is quite a lot, the more I absolutely love these FAIRLINES.. that's why we'll be having a Squadron 58! But they are amongst the best I have seen. These are along with the SUNSEEKERS are in a different class. They go further than some, some of the competitors I've honestly find quite dull compared
Only because we started with you, and I learned all I need to in this regard
Champion 👍 we appreciate all the tours and THIS boat is knockout !!! 😁👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍀Ps .. make sure Marriane knows I always think of her with the green clover 😁😁😁👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I like how you're always informed on the various options available throughout the boat. The utility room was brilliant, I wonder if one could opt to have washer/dryer in there instead? Would make sense to me on a longer trip. Foldout seat in the back was a real nice touch.

"The last thing you need when you're out at sea are loose stools"
Double entendre of the year so far! Fnarr fnarr! 🤣
    PS. Nice boat!

Stunning boat! Not sure why you would specify a utility room and then put the washer/dryer in the lobby area... Seems the whole point of a guilty room is exactly for, utility appliances.

That is a very beautiful boat. I especially like what they've done in the salon by separating the dining area and giving you a nice lounge, rather than the combined lounge and dining area of the old 68. So glad the ironing board is back. Thank you for the tour by the way.

Very nice indeed. Has more class and less bling than some of the Sunseekers and Princesses, a really timeless interior. Like the details you went into Nick such as the holding tank pumbing to minimise noise. I can only imagine it will be epic with the larger Cat Diesels.

Super tour Nick, so much for the price point. I think I'd have the forth cabin and the 'crew' cabin as a utility room come toy store with room to wash them off.

    A great video as always.
I liked the 'Loose Stools' gag, which is a pity, but these fixations are deeply rooted.
Could you please insert a slightly risque joke or innuendo into all future videos? I think it could be a big hit with the fans and further increase your notoriety.
