Hi, i've "modded" this weak structure filling all possible empty spaces with epoxy granite/sand..Now basement, x-y table internals,coloumn and head are twice heavy and strong and vibrations are lot less too. Proxxon's stuff are very overpriced toys...Too much aluminium and no cast iron, only for light works :( In this price range you can find a real (iron made..) mini mill.. ;)
Именно стойка - да. Но координационный стол и фрезерная головка имеют ряд дефектов. Есть люфты, головка очень быстро перегревается и самоотключается. Для высокоточных работ не подойдет. Но для домашнего пользования - вполне.

This is an awesome drillstand. I bought a used one today and thanks for this video I now know where to modifing things to get better handling!
They all come together or I have to buy stand separately ?

How level is the work bed and how accurate is the cross xyz? How strong is the motor and can I be upgraded?
