This build seriously goes to show how 3D printing is evolving and how makers like you are constantly changing the game. The print quality that just looks like steel fresh off the plate, the incredible turnover from model to print, making what would’ve taken months/years when we all got our first printers. This is a perfect case study that shows how this technology is evolving with the creative minds behind it. Amazing work, truly inspiring
Dude you're absolutely AMAZING. I couldn't imagine how much better this would have turned out if you had the time and not be in a rush. I hope you do a full build on the helmet. Keep up the great work can't wait to see what's next
Im sure learning a new craft with that foam would have been easier, but it just shows how GREAT you are with 3D crafting and inspiring the community of 3D printing in true Frankly Built fashion! Definitely would love to see that helmet build.
I’m speechless. Awesome build in a very short time frame. You really outdid yourself. All of you look incredible. Everyone’s builds are above and beyond. I wish I could see in person. I missed out being that I live by Magic Mountain.
You helped me wrap my head around the practical side of 3d printing which helped me start my halo spartan cosplay, this was about a year ago and now I’m almost done. Thank you bro! 🤘🏻 love the channel
I have to remember that thing about the print orientation for silks. Personally, I kind of dig how the forearms look with the print lines going in different directions and reflecting in different ways. Helps give a bit of contrast.
For this kind of costume it's much easier to have a handler(a friend) that helps you on with the costume and support you during the cosplay. Also remember to go to the bathroom before getting suited up.
Hi got to meet you Saturday at comic con I was the preatorian guard it was great to meet you after learning so much from your video s..keep up the great work and thank you for the photos.
Frank every time I watch your videos you inspirer me more and more to work hard on my own 3d printing you sir are a gift to 3d printing and in my opinion every 3d make you inspire just remember you did that my friend
Dude, that fact you did all this in such a short amount of time! Mad respect! And had time to record all this and produce a RUclips video…….👌👌👊👏👏🤘 Great job! 🎉
Great build bro. The raw silk pla turned out great for this build. If you really thinking of selling it I'll gladly take it off your hands for you lol we the same build. On another note I felt that pain with the thighs on Starboost doing you know what to you know what lol. Always enjoy watching your builds man.
Nice job on this video. People wouldn’t be asking you to do crazy projects like this is if you weren’t capable of pulling them off at a high lever. Wouldn’t be surprised if this isn’t the last time either.
I've wanted to print a robot costume for a while now. Specifically, ATOM from Real Steel. This movie is a hidden gem, wayyy underrated, and it'd be sick to rock that during Halloween or whatever. Only issues stopping me is that there aren't any costume models out there, I can't stand 3d modelling, and I don't have $500+ to throw at a freelancer in hopes they'll even model one. Maybe I'm begging, but would any of your contacts be down to hook me up? 😂😅
Noooooo trust me on this cause i have this printer its slow as fuck and no internet connectionyour better off with the ender KE soooo much faster and better also bigger @Greatest.Of.All.Tomorrow
Do you have the K2? Is that the "Shhh" at the end? I can't wait to see yours and many others take on it (unless you've already done it and I missed it). I'm super excited for it and I know you'll want it with it's build volume. I NEED IT NOW!
Have you made a video, or mentioned in another video, about using fans? That's always been a big concern of mine, especially living and going to cons in the south, so I'd love to see more on that, even if it was a part of a larger helmet build like you mentioned
is there a video of you when you wore the costume? was it at the premiere? How many other influencers were part of the project? I think it was Awesome that they thought of you as well as others to do this, since you do Awesome work!
Hey frankly, do you know if you could ever make a video on how you made those posters of yourself? I love how glossy and detailed it looks when being framed like that
Would it be possible to print gears for the inside of an iron man helmet, and the faceplate still be connected to gears without it being “motorized” like could I flip the faceplate up manually without servos and any electronics? Love your videos and hope you have a good day sir!
Such a cool build man. I really hope someone releases files like this as I'd love to make one. One question I do have, on my x1c when I print in silk I get areas like bands going around the print where it's a different shade or not as shiny. Do you have any idea what that might be please dude? I hate to ask but I just can't stop it from happening. Maybe I'm having a mental block...
I wish paramount gave you more time in advance like it’s looks so good but people in the marketing department doesn’t understand how much work goes into this stuff. But came out so good you guys killed it.
@@FranklyBuilt everyone in a movie gets paid too by obscuring and hiding their work it makes it harder for them to find other work. Literally every professional studio credits their artist
It would honestly be really cool to see a video of how you travel with such large cosplays. I had 2 helmets, and a LED Halo for my Adam cosplay get ruined in my checked bags from a recent con. I tried really hard to put some padding between it all, but it still got caved in, cracked, and scratched to hell :/
Question, and sorry if it was already asked. When you did the two fans in the helmet, did you have them both blowing the same way? Or did you alternate them to see if would cause more air flow?
Impressive! You didn’t mention anything about sanding, finishing or painting. Did you need to do any? EVA foam may have worked but you’d definitely have to do a lot of filling and painting to make it look like metal.
22:07 I'm probably trippin but I don't think that's what they ment by sound dampening foam, I can't tell if you're joking or not. if I'm wrong then my bad, I still loved the video
Aye brotha I love watching your videos but it seems like views are getting a little lower. Maybe if you post more often it’ll jump back up, you’re videos are great quality just a bit sporadic so for people that don’t hit the bell icon they don’t see it as a suggested video. Keep it up my man 🤙🏼

I love these videos these builds are amazing i am looking at getting myself a printer as well but haven’t decided which one i have a few ideas ❤
Yes please, I would love a tutorial for how you built Megatron's head.
dude if only people heard our conversation on the phone. that was epic. hahaha!
Thanks for the feature buddy!
Detailed Helmet built would be great (elecronics etc.) Great work :)
+1 for explaining/remaking the helmet! v1 already looks amazing!

Totally agree that the different orientation of the layer lines looks good. Breaks up the monolithic-ness of the pieces and adds depth.
For this kind of costume it's much easier to have a handler(a friend) that helps you on with the costume and support you during the cosplay. Also remember to go to the bathroom before getting suited up.
Absolutely awesome job Frank 👍 the Suit looks amazing 👍 yes please a rebuild of the helmet would be awesome 👌

The work and pain this guy as to go through for his costumes is worthy of every second of my time
Absolutely LOVED how it came out it looks so good! A helmet tutorial would be super great to see how the fans are incorporated and wired in
"HONEY, WAKE UP, FRANKLYBUILT DROPPED!!!!!!!!!!"

Thank you soo much for sharing your journey with us! Sooo how much are you gonna charge me to do it all over again 😎 Looks AWESOME 🤩
Such a great build dude..

ive been waiting for the drop frank!!!
loved the movie btw
Incredible, especially considering the ridiculous time constraint! Of course do the helmet tutorial!!!
Awesome build. Thanks for sharing.
This was so cool! As a fan of Transformers and the movie itself. The Megatron looked awesome.
That is seriously awsome any idea when you will be making that master chief helmet video?
That was so awesome. Your channel is a reason that I got into 3D printing and stuff like this inspires me so much! Thanks for sharing!
Hell yes I’d love a full helmet build
14:03 I actually like the different textures. Gives it depth and faux detail
Im shocked that the pieces were only super glued , i would have been sweating bullets. Guess that super glue is insanely strong. Well done !

great job looks great
Super cool
That clasp method is an absolute GAME changer, imagine if you used that on an iron man suit
This was amazing! Thank you for sharing!!
Nikko is a good dude!!!
I'm disappointed you didn't get to do your bumblebee. He's always been my favorite.

This is truly fanominal and trying to crunch so much is ridiculous. Great work man. Also, what's the AMS knock off at the end?
Helmet video would be good. Nice job!

this is awesome!
Keep doing you dude. Your videos are cool.
So cool frank, I love the "RAW" print look. Great job and great video 👏
Awesome job in the time you had. Did you notice the quality of the prints between the X1 and P1S?
Def want to hear more about the helmet!
ooooh i saw a helldivers helmet at 28:45 i hope u are planning to make the whole suit would love to see that
Awesome build! Any chance you could do a tutorial on how to convert those tac flashlights to eyes?

@@Bomfunknight I am getting a Creality Ender 3 V3 SE 3D Printer

love the build!
Nice, I would still like to see you make a Space Marine from Warhammer 40k I bet it would be awesome

Definitely a kids dream come true for someone to get these files
Its incredible that you where able to make the costume in under a month using silk PLA.

Nope
Awesome build. Instead of EVA foam, what about that foam PLA that the RC airplane guys use? Should be lighter weight than regular filament.
The fact that i have watched Kira's Elita 1 Frank's magtron is hollarious😂
is there a video of you when you wore the costume? was it at the premiere? How many other influencers were part of the project? I think it was Awesome that they thought of you as well as others to do this, since you do Awesome work!
There footage at the end of the video and it was 3 others
Would love to see a video of Megatron helmet, but the whole build was fantastic
sick bruh!!
Hey frankly, do you know if you could ever make a video on how you made those posters of yourself? I love how glossy and detailed it looks when being framed like that
You buy it online lol
Love my P1S … don’t think I’d ever switch to anything else now
Fricken epic man. Ty sir.
I have so much respect for you. ♥
Amazing
Yes do the helmet video with the electronics
Bro, I’ve been waiting for this vid
cool
My largest suit is Nikko industries Endgame Iron patriot for Halloween. Thank you for the video
Just saying the seam lines on the arms add to the reality that the arm would fold down lol ^_^ amazing video.
Yes please helmet tutorial, I’m making a warhammer helmet that’s going to need all that fancy stuff
Such an amazing build, except my son saw this and wants this for Halloween…next year maybe with only my one X1C.
Or the perfect excuse for buying more printer(s)?
Amazing job. Well done.
Also props to meshmixer. How old is it and it's still used quite often.
It’s ancient haha and still works
I know you strictly 3D print but after this build any interest in learning eva foam? Like another tool in your arsenal?
nice
'Love it

If he’s paying them a salary and has a contract he doesn’t need to. They work for him.
