I have the rare breed slate call is there a striker that you recommend with it besides the one that came with it im a first year turkey hunter and i need to find a 2nd striker to give these hard headed toms more a reason to come out
Indeed I carry 3 strikers and two slates....plus two mouth calls. I want to use raspy old hen calls with putts, and purrs of young hens to bring those gobblers running.

Carry many. Just like pots. Different strikers make different tones. As no 2 Turkeys sound the same why should your calls.
Yes i have 4 strikers and my daughter n i each use 2 if both have our calls on us seems to getting resaults
