Well most of us today are young and the first gen charger we think about when we hear first gen are the srt8 body styled chargers (gen 6s).

(Technically, this is a 7th Gen Charger… '11-present. 1st Gen was '66-'67)
6th gen 06-10 you can tell by the tail lights. He definitely did a good job though b/c the front end definitely looks more like 11-up

Really cool car dude, thumbs up !!!! I have modded my 08 SRt8 quiet a bit over here in Austria and I am planning to go wide body. We have a very small US Car scene over here and our Gen Chargers are unique on our streets.......We might have a total of 10 SRT8’s on our streets. Maybe a total of 30 new gen Chargers if I aim high. Our taxes and insurance are based on Hp and Co2 output......so it’s all about the enviroment and certainly no Muscle Car Country .-( But the few crazy F:::::::: who are around take the modding serious.....and we grow potatoes not rice :-))))
As far as any widebody conversion goes, I could not find anything decent online though..... I don‘t even wanna mention how bad that Duraflex Hellcar Body Kit is built.....I used it partially but it‘s a disaster as far as fitment goes :-))))) Please be so kind and let me know about the Widebody parts. I have a few Denko parts and they are great quality wise but there is no Widebody kit that suits my taste. I am aiming to to get the look of the new OEM Widebody Chargers/Challengersor just do what you did......looks plain out evil right now and will certainly be a monster once is finished. I also like all the other mods. I added a Kenne Belle Super Charger with a Custom Tune made in Germany with no other engine mods. Just American Racing Longe Tubes and a Magnaflow exhaust with no mids and a QTP cutouts.......but I wanna go further here as well......

It's referred to as a 1st gen charger in the context of it being the 1st gen of the SRT charger series (and or the modern day HEMI's); not the charger model itself.

The fitment doesn't look good that's the only thing i can see wrong with the widebody
Hey nice greetings from Bavaria (germany) & me! ;)
I'm building a wide STANCE 06 Charger RT Daytona, (Top Banana, shiny yellow mixed with black Like glossy black wheels,..)
And i've not the Attention to get wider flares/wheel arches, i've the Attention to get the widest possible Track/Stance Out of the Stock wheel arches. And i've done that with VORS TR4 rims in 19x10.5 (22mm Offset) in shiny black, at front with 20mm Spacers per Side (effektiv Offset 2mm) and 8mm spacers per Side at the rearend. At frontend 255/45 R19, what has a little stretched look in the 10 5" wide rims and fits so amazingly perfect into the Stock wheel arches that this is done great! At rear 10.5" wide rims the 285/40 R19 gets an more meaty Look, what's exactly that what i want.
So it's an staggered tire onlY ;)
But soo wide under these Stock wheel arches, in Combination with BC Racing BR Series Coilovers, the Car is so slammed, with that Stance it's so much more awesome looking that this build, where the wheels are lost in These huge wheel arches. And that's not to say that's Bad!!! But i think you've to USE THIS HUGE SPACE ;)
But better; Not with an huge Diameter of the rims, nooo please ;) Go with more WIDE rims. Look at built, where the 19" diameter of the rims ist a PRO. because the Muscle Car look ist awesome, If you'll so it the right way with size of wheels.
And If you would use 19 x 12 per 20 x 12" at the rear, and a 11×19/20 at the frontend, you'll go to the right proportions and sizes.
Because this "flat face rims" are sooo lost in their wheel houses. There is something to do , but even the right way please. It's really NO OPTION, If you're using 22" ore more diameter rims. In my eyes this big diameters makes These Cars so ugly, because all what we're looking for is cslled the "golden geometry / the golden Cut"
And proportions ist all!
That's why it's looking so Goofy, when people using to small ore to big diameter sizes rims.
And if you're looking to the official MOPAR Drift Dodge Charger from 2007, you'll wonder how nice these 19×10" rims at all corners fit to that Charger.... it's like i'v told you; THE GOLDEN CUT! ;)
