    • @anoraker
      @anoraker  9 месяцев назад +5

      Yep, this is a review unit. Which is common in the industry. But that doesn't make it a sponsored review, so think again.
      In a sponsored post, Laifen (or the sponsoring company) will provide a direct money payment along with a script or a series of quotes that must be said. I was not paid by Laifen for this review, nor did I use any script or quotes provided by them.
      ... if this were sponsored, do you really think it would have so many complaints about the product, or me directly advising you not to buy it?

    Not sure what this guy is talking about, but I guess everyone is different. I’ve used a sonicare for years. Even on the most intense setting the Laifen is fine. My wife and I had no issues or pain. The only thing I will say is don’t let the back of the toothbrush head touch your teeth. It’ll rattle and feel uncomfortable.

    • @anoraker
      @anoraker  9 месяцев назад +6

      I'm not the only one saying this, alas, even beyond my family. Other (not-Sponsored) reviews talk about how it's just too intense.
      For what it's worth, Laifen seems to be aware and is looking into it from the sounds of their communications with me since the review went out.

      I just got my Laifen toothbrush and I'm so pleased with it! I have been using Oral-B different models for nearly 2 decades. They haven't changed much or improved in significant way where Laifen is a game changer, and in terms of author's comments about toothbrush being too strong in my experience nothing could be further from the truth, I love it as it gives sensational cleaning results.

  • @TheEsdrasTube

    Duuuude. I used mine for the first time last night and was shook. This is my first time having an electric brush so I wasn’t sure if the intensity was normal. Using the daily brush head was the best experience. The blue and purple bristled brush heads are scary.

    • @anoraker

      It's waaaaay too powerful.
      You can try turning it down with the app (if you can keep it connected), but I'm sorry to say that didn't make enough of a difference for me.

    Did you follow the instruction manual? It is possible you are using it wrong. With a low level of practice, you will not keep rubbing the back against your mouth/teeth

    • @anoraker
      @anoraker  10 месяцев назад +2

      Yes, I followed the instruction manual (what little there is), and as I mentioned in the video I even used the app to turn down the vibration as low as it goes (until the app stopped working). It's far too much, and I'm not the only person to say it.
      And with practice sure it'll happen less, but I think it'll still happen... it's far too easy to do unless you do something drastic like keep your mouth open as wide as possible while brushing.. which is not a good way to brush your teeth.

    Actually we are satisfied with our Laifan toothbrushes. We did not experience any of the problems mentioned in this review.
    Using it now for two months.
    It not only cleans our teeth well but the stainless brushes are so beautiful.
    Laifan was not able to explain me the difference between the standard free guarantee of one year and the protection plan which had to be purchased. Why charge a fee when you claim to sell a high end product?

    This toothbrush looks like it will be harsh on the gums. Its easy to make it look like its a good brushing technique that the toothbrush is creating, but these are on prop example teeth. A real person teeth vary and this brush just looks like the action is too agressive unless the persons teeth and gums align perfectly with the toothbrushes motions, which isnt likely.

    • @anoraker
      @anoraker  9 месяцев назад +1

      So I'm gonna jump in and be honest on that one. You're likely not gonna see any reviewer show video of using this thing on their teeth.
      Never mind the difficulty of filming brushing your teeth under the best of circumstances, it just isn't possible with this guy. It vibrates so fast and so much that it literally flings toothpaste everywhere. When brushing, I had to make sure the toothbrush was fully in my mouth and lips sealed so I didn't create a giant toothpaste mess all over my sink and mirror.

    • @jensz9360

    I can't relate to this review, but I can see where it's coming from.
    Don't get me wrong, it's a *very* rough toothbrush on max settings, rougher than any other electric toothbrush I've owned. But, for me at least, that's exactly what I needed.
    Using the brush at max settings, I don't feel any pain from it. I actually feel quite the opposite in fact; it feels like a massage, so much so that my mouth kind of goes numb from it, even.
    I've also had a very longstanding problem with bleeding gums while brushing, spanning several years across a manual brush, an Oral-B swivel head electric, and a Sonicare vibrator electric. Within my first week with this brush, it's completely stopped, for the first time in years.
    I love this thing. Save for the always-internet-connected app, the hardware has been awesome.

      This was a review unit, so no "money back" to get. I haven't been through a return process with Laifen, so can't comment on that.

      We purchased two of these toothbrushes and they BOTH completely stopped working by the second month…. We also purchased their protection plan and it was useless. They denied our claim, even with all the information, photos & videos we had to provide.
      Very disappointing because we thought it seemed like a good product.
      Normally we check all the reviews and read more on a new product, but with this my husband & I thought it was an awesome idea.

      Omg, we had the exact same problem! We also purchased their protection plan which also was a complete joke…
      Ours didn’t last 2 months, with the first one breaking down in the first 2 weeks. It wouldn’t charge and then kept disconnecting from the app, but wasn’t charged so I couldn’t take it off airplane mode. I believe it fried itself which would fall under mechanical failure, which is supposed to be covered under the protection plan, but they still denied our claim…
      It was a very frustrating ordeal. Thankfully we kept our Phillips Sonic Care toothbrushes and we were able to use them while we waited 2 to 3 weeks on our claim. But after being denied we are just back to our Sonic Care brushes.
      Total waste of our time and money…
      Good luck!
