GOOD demo! Actually runs through the various models and possible EQ changes, compares with dry vs. FX, and didn't play an entire song on each setting, as SO many demo players do! Enough to give a taste, and moved on, to cover lots of ground quickly, as opposed to the ubiquitous, slow-moving "vanity demo" videos! THANK YOU!
Berington Van Campen And could i use it like the di box? Between the acoustic and line of mixer? And it processor could replace the compressor with eq?
I have owned this pedal for about 4 years and use it for gigs every weekend. It's super easy to use and sounds great. The only warning I have for prosective buyers is that, if the pedal is being powered by 2 AA batteries, it will not last through a standard 3 hour gig. It dies at the 2.5 hour mark. Other than that, it's a great unit.
Just one other comment. A good portion of the enhancement is reverb which you do not have when playing mic only. It would be better if you had reverb on the un-effected samples so we could eliminate that as a difference maker.
Just curious. Why would you use the 12 string effect if you're already using a 12 string guitar. I'd like to hear how that effect would make a 6 sound like.
I’m selling my fishman prefix DI and TC electronic Body Rez to get this. Zoom did drop the ball by not allowing it to be ran off of phantom power, though.
This looks like a very useful piece of kit. It also makes me wonder if it might make sense to buy a cheaper electro acoustic guitar, if using an accessory like this.
Hi. If I use that pedal for Electric guitar it will reproduce an acoustic sound or an electric guitar sound. Because I want that for electric guitar. Thanks
How can you switch from one tone preset to another while playing live? Are you going to turn the tone selector with your hands while playing? Anyone? Thanks!
Pretty frustrating when you want someone to demonstrate the 12 string effect on a 6 string. You don't grab a bass for the bass effect. Someone please direct me to someone playing a 6 string acoustic with a 12 string effect?
2dan4me it's a tonal shaper for acoustic, that's all. There's no 'simulation' so plugging a standard electric into it sounds awful. I've always found that zoom pedals have never really hit the market with an acoustic simulator and always felt disappointed by their efforts which is always a shame because they create some good high gain tones even on some of their more budget level pedals
If you're looking for amp, cab, and effect simulation that sounds like the real thing, check out one of our latest multi-effects pedals...the G5n (zoom-na.com/G5n), G3Xn (zoom-na.com/G3Xn), or G3n (zoom-na.com/G3n). Very nice video, Sam!
anybody believes this product? I’m looking for a good but not expensive like Lr Baggs.. my eye is on Irig Acoustic Stage now but if this is worth a $100 more?
Well, the pedal is meant to be used like that. Its purpose is to amplify an acoustic guitar not to imitate one. Of course you can expetiment with the settings but this is not a guitar modeling box...
Why did you use a 12-string guitar on the 12-string guitar setting? Use a 6-string guitar so that we'll know if the pedal actually makes it sound like 12-string GRRRRRRR Edit: And I just found out that he also used a nylon-string guitar to test the Nylon-string setting
I think those settings are input settings, not output effects. If you're using a 12 string, put it on 12 string. Nylon strings, put it on that. Dreadnaught body, put it on that. Designed to individually enhance each different type of instrument. But you can obviously set it to whatever you want while playing whatever you want and get some diversity
He explains it in the beginning of the video . Im amazed how many people are making this statement . This statement /question exemplifies how people just dont pay attention , Jeesh!

A STANDARD 3 HOUR GIG ☠️💀
@@doomdoomerson6524 That's the standard in New York. It's a sad fact but we all evolve to handle the pressure.
Will it work OK through a boss cube street 2?
Really great demo vid. Definitely considering buying one after your nice work. Thanks!!
Best demo out there! Straight to the point.
Very impressive array of functions. Still has that Piezo sound though
Just one other comment. A good portion of the enhancement is reverb which you do not have when playing mic only. It would be better if you had reverb on the un-effected samples so we could eliminate that as a difference maker.
Great job! All demo should be like this. Minimal talk and great comps.
Great sounding pedal with a comprehensive demo. great job
hello, is he emulating the sound of a twelve-string guitar in this preset while playing the six string acoustic ?? Nobody shows it on demos.
Just curious. Why would you use the 12 string effect if you're already using a 12 string guitar. I'd like to hear how that effect would make a 6 sound like.
The 12-string setting isn't a 12-string simulator. The names of the settings are the guitars they are meant to be used with.
The fender and yamaha at the end sounded so nice!!
That nylon string sounded great dry, and then even better with the pedal...
I’m selling my fishman prefix DI and TC electronic Body Rez to get this. Zoom did drop the ball by not allowing it to be ran off of phantom power, though.
Great presentation! Thank you!!

4:31 hell yes
Whats the name of the song of 6:05?🤟🎸🎸🤟
4:24 this song must be from Radiohead, right?
Need this pedal
Great review. Thanks.
Heart of Gold is a great song. Thanks for your demo.
loved the California Dreamer. Now I must learn THAT.
How can I get it ,am from Tanzania east africa

Çok teşekkür ederim , güzel bir video
How can you switch from one tone preset to another while playing live?
Are you going to turn the tone selector with your hands while
playing? Anyone? Thanks!
This can be used in electric guitar
Very tasty playing fellas! Awesome! Neat pedal too. Zoom's got it together.
This might be an aggressively stupid question, but does anyone know if this could work with a ukulele?
Yes i injoy that knowledge thanks very much brither 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💖
Can i use it with electric guitar amp?
Zoom as always did great job if you whan,t great effect on top your nutritional sound
Pretty frustrating when you want someone to demonstrate the 12 string effect on a 6 string. You don't grab a bass for the bass effect. Someone please direct me to someone playing a 6 string acoustic with a 12 string effect?
can i record loop with it??
If i use a delay and reverb pedal after this pedal then go to the PA board. Would that be a problem???
Drive Me Away no
where is neal....
Are you play nylon string with nylon guitar. Not good demonstrations.
I think your confused. That is exactly how this pedal is to be used. It is NOT a simulator pedal.
Could this work with an electric guitar?

2dan4me - it would probably help a piezo equipped electric sound more like an acoustic.
@@ZoomSoundLab how about on hollow and semi hollow archtop guitar for jazz playing?
Not well. Lol. If you have an electric guitar and want great Clem sounds get a Fender deluxe amp
IMHO u should use less reverb to let sound more the pedal. BUT it's a good demo.
I prefer the sound of this to Tc bodyrez and Fishman aura..
anybody believes this product? I’m looking for a good but not expensive like Lr Baggs.. my eye is on Irig Acoustic Stage now but if this is worth a $100 more?
Guy wears F91. Trustworthy. XD
Too bad it wasnt an ac simulator. The pedal looks great
Uses Nylon strings for Nylon FX
and Uses 12 Strings for 12 Strings FX 🙄🙄
I really thought I am the only noticed it...lol
i think its made to bring the acoustic sound of the guitar when its plugged in line, not to simulate all that guitar sounds.
Well, the pedal is meant to be used like that. Its purpose is to amplify an acoustic guitar not to imitate one. Of course you can expetiment with the settings but this is not a guitar modeling box...
The first guitar (Yamaha) sounded terrible, at first I thought the pedal was a complete donkey but it was that guitar, it really sucked.
Inside in a noise gate
Neil Young!
12 струнный эффект очень даже хрен бы отличил бы от самой 12 струнной гитары
They just changed the physical appearance but its still sounded like the older zoom a3 model.. the zoom a2 had much better sounding than this model..
Eh... it’s ok but still has that quacky sound to it. I feel like searching for that perfect electric acoustic tone is a never ending battle
LR Baggs has a new voice print DI pedal. Twice as much but seems to sound worlds better.
lr baggs lyric makes magic
Why did you use a 12-string guitar on the 12-string guitar setting? Use a 6-string guitar so that we'll know if the pedal actually makes it sound like 12-string GRRRRRRR

I hear no difference 😅
you are very handsome!
Do not buy zoom products. They are waste of money. I’ve tried many 🤦🏻♂️
Once piezo kills your tone, your tone stays dead. Buy a microphone.
I mean sure, if that works for your performance environment. Sometimes you just can’t use a mic, and this sweetens up the sound quite a bit.
Can this be used with electric guitar... how's the sound...
Does it have tremolo?
