Adjusting measurements with the little running stitch along the edge is such a fabulous idea! I have never seen anyone else recommend this amazing trick and I thought I was forever doomed to creating quilts with wavy edges. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge so generously!!

I machine stitch my bindings. Attach to the back, fold over to the front and use decorative stitches to add more interest.

I love the light gathering on the edge the quilt. I used to do something like this when making clothes but never thought about using it on my quilts. Thank you.

Goodness why don’t we think of these simple ideas! It makes such sense doesn’t it! I used to use the gathering idea in my clothing sewing many years ago! Thank you Pauline ❤🎉
