Gotta love the visual interaction between the projectile and the multitudes of heavy shots applied to it. You know the wand means business when your spark bolt is larger than a minecart and glows red like some portal to hell.

I love that in this game people barely know what is actually happening. It's like the constant change of noita is, that it is broken. But everybody embraces it and tries to break the game in yet a more creative way. If you die because of something broken, you got noita'd and it's almost an award.
Simple as is easy to find the spells and build. Not so simple to understand. I found all the spells in the main world and had not killed the alchemist that run. I had the Greek letters and divide by unlocked tho not everyone will. But I do believe everyone can kill the alchemist safely.
I managed to get around 151 sextillion damage (151 000 000 000 000 000 000 000) by tweaking it a little :) Props to the one who made this insane build!
@@calmlittlebuddy3721 i tried adding one more heavy shot and i changed the spark bolt for a magic bolt but after further testings i managed to get in the octillion damage by replacing the magic bolt with a spark bolt with double trigger lmao (edit: i also changed the divide by 3 to a divide by 4 with not much more lag it got me in the duodecillions wtf)
@@memeticsoup13 I took that train of thought to its obvious extreme and put a piercing and divide by 10 modifier instead and got inf on both total damage and dps for the spell labs boss dummy. Scared me for about 2 seconds since I thought the game was going to crash but it seemed to not break after multiple tries. The damage itself was a bit hit or miss though, it was either ~140,000 or inf with no in-between. The trick I found was to not hit the target with the tentacle directly. I think thats what happened in the video as well since after rewatching it I noticed he barely missed the mage and hit the ground instead.
Another thing worth noting is that with this build you aren't supposed to hit the enemy directly. You need to shoot near the enemy and preferably in an empty space, otherwise Sparkbolts will die before Spells to Power can absorb the damage from tentcles

I gave it accelerating homing and piercing on the spark bolt and was hitting the test dummy for more than 1x10^30. Way more than needed, but it's crazy how it doesn't really chug the computer like the square to spell to power does.
This wand reminds me of a scene from Rick and Morty, where a character dies instantly with no apparent cause, and the other characters are confused as to what happened. This wand is just like that. One moment, you're Noiting around, the next moment you've been Noita'd by a funny wand. Pretty interesting how this works.
This works with tentacle and not other spells as well because the spells to power is counting all the possible hits the tentacle could make when determining the hit calculations before Omega and Divide by 3 starts their exponential Ramping of damage. The calculation is like using piercing damage and its ability to hit multiple times Vs a single shot that expires once it touches something.
This is... Not at all how it works. It works because STP (Spells to Power) can add damage to a Tentacle and then another STP can absorb that damage previously added by the 1st STP (that's why it's called "recursive damage build", because STP absorbs damage added by STP). This only works with Tentacles because unlike other projectiles, Tentacles don't get the tag that prevents other STP from absorbing the damage from them. It doesn't "count all the possible hits the tentacle could make". Each Tentacle's damage is counted only once by a single STP iteration, but on each STP iteration it increases the damage of 1 Tentacle and therefore increases the damage that the next iteration will add (not always, but the exact mechanics are semi-random and depend on the engine's order of operations).

@@calmlittlebuddy3721 It does damage over time so I have no idea, but it's never not one-shotted something, 33-orb Kolmi included. It is also very easy to one-shot yourself, so I always carry a safer attack wand for more delicate situations
Yea no clue what the top end is on the wand. It does vary exponentially and even a tiny back end change by the devs could account for major changes in final numbers. Like I state in the video I am not the numbers guy I just know it works!

I built this same wand, shot from it once and the game crashed, after restoring and continuing the game had to make the same wand again, but now it doesn't crash, instead spells to power doesn't work now
Can someone explain this to me, pls? I am kinda new, but I read the wand building wiki. What I think I get is: - The divide reduction on damage is countered by the heavy hit. - The tentacle is not consumed by spell to power, but kinda keep getting activated until the tentacle vanishs by itself. - The accumulated damage is given to the bolt. - The divide by 3 uses the Omega 3 times, creating a 3 new "casts" of everything above. - Then a recursive amount of this spell is created almost instantly, and on the end, and a exponencial amount of bolts, that accumulated a lot of damage frol the exponential amount of tentacles, hit the target almost at the same time, doing this damage. Is that it?
The way I was told it works is something with spells to power and tentacle with timer allows spells to power to absorb itself multiple times causing an exponential effect. That's my go-to build when I have to kill a kolmi with several orbs. This is how I got my 11 and 33 orb runs finished, can confirm that it is very based. Plus it's cheap compared to other wand builds that need like 3 D10s and GoldToPower and a ton of other stuff.

thanks for this; i always end up overthinking and making some wild 20 slot monstrosity with dangerous spells that either doesn't do as much as i thought, or kills me lol -- would it work just as well with a different timer spell than tentacle or is there a reason you chose tentacle?
From what I understand tentacle is the only one that works due to what is either a glitch or an intended result where it goes exponential. There an explanation somewhere in the comments as well as in the wiki about divide by spells. But hey, try others maybe it’s not 400 quadrillion but would still be high enough to work.
This kind of wand only has one use. 30+ orb kill or deep ng+. Right now I would say the best wands use infestation to drill through the map (no damage to surfaces) and home in on enemies. With perks you dont have to care about self damage. Also spells that can kill without bleeding to keep lag down. If you arent able to go to parallel worlds you are still a little baby because the perks and the spells are required for end game goals.
@@815TypeSirius That was the point. There’s no need for a quadrillion damage wand except boss kills. If you want useful wands to eliminate entire floors of enemies that’s a whole different idea. And there are variations of this wand with missile that are higher damage with better function. This was just a fun wand that popped up on a relatively normal run I wanted to share.
For me, the only thing I changed was using a Divide by 4 instead of Divide by 3. Sometimes I get a huge damage, other times I get tiny damge, like 20~300.
The damage is the same, it's just how soon the game realises you've killed the enemy and stops calculating the damage. Sometimes it realises super soon, sometimes it reaches 13 quintillion before it does.
@@stanalex4544 Hmm, but sometimes, I can't even kill those Hiisi guys in one shot. So I think its because I have to shoot slightly further, so the tentacle triggers the overpowered sparkbolt.
While you might expect higher divide-bys to increase damage further, I've learned from the wiki that you run into strange behaviours when you try to pump things that high 😂
One tip. NOITA isn’t like other roguelites/rogue likes. To really get into the game you have to learn from the community not trial an error. It’s so much bigger and crazier than I ever would have thought had I not lucked into a few great streamers
For the quadrillion damage wand all spells and that wand were found in the main world in reasonable safe areas. 2 of those usually will NOT be found without killing the alchemist (Divide by Three and Omega), but in this particular run only Omega required the alchemist fight.
@@calmlittlebuddy3721 The man speaks truth. The first time I one-shotted the alchemist and got to do some major exploring outside the regular biomes, I managed to blow up the music box on the tree thanks to an errant mushroom. Later found the divide-by spells in hell.
@@timvanarsdel yes I know it’s in hell. But this video is for players who can’t even find hell, never heard of hell and wouldn’t go there unless they had a million health. Now IF you blow up the music boxes yea you’ll need to make other plans but I highly doubt it’s easier than the chest for most players.
@@aXfranXa Yep! Hell is basically a mirror of sky. It's just safer since there's only poly in the areas that mirror the ancient laboratory, whereas in sky there are enemies everywhere that bleed poly. So if you have enough health and stick to the right side of hell, you basically cannot die to the environment.
i don't know if it's because i used regular homing but i had to add long distance cast to this because i almost lost my current god run to self damage from this wand. Scary damage output
What perks did you have that might apply? I will test w spell lab but I don’t think regular homing would cause self damage (not sure about homing perk)

Projectile duplication lots of The normal end game perks. 768k health currently lots of stainless armor haven't kept track of how many. since I'm going to try perk duping. When I'm able to play later I'll try to give better details. But I went from full to like 5 percent health The first time I fired it. Which swapping to long distance cast gave me some safety and haven't hurt myself since
@@calmlittlebuddy3721 just fired a shot at nothing to see if it worked before I attacked something. I think I may have an idea of what happened. I tested it on my teleport circle of vigor wand but had that setup hidden behind a wand refresh. Maybe somehow The wand refresh got bypassed and circle of vigor nuked me
@@reapercometh Crud I should have mentioned I had a similar issue. I think Omega caused spells after wand refresh to trigger. You’ll notice I still have it on there but nothing to the right of it as it kept casting everything before AND after. Once I removed everything to the right of wand refresh it worked as it should. Hmmmm. That could be it.
That’s when too many things happening on screen. Fast wands w lots of particles. Too many enemies. World destruction. Turning stuff to sand or smoke. Not much you can do until e everything settles down. NOITA simulates every pixel and so even though it looks like easy simple graphics it eats up CPU
I can't get this to work. The spark bolt disappears. I have multiple projectile repulsion field/sector stacked, and multiple pinpointer - I assume that is causing the problem?? How would I fix that - maybe accelerative homing with long distance cast or something?? Not that I really need it in this run, but if those perks screw up the build, I may not take them in future runs...
@@sheidah8340 two things. Either you use too much mana w the extra stuff or the honing breaks it. I built it again last night and it works. Build it exactly as shown.
Two biggest things that helped me was being told to slow down when moving through a biome. Be slow and deliberate. Second biggest tip is don’t try to figure everything out oh my own. It’s a community game filled with people that have tons of knowledge. Use the wiki and watch the big streamers play and ask them questions. If you want an I’m game too then I would say learn what digging spells work in holy mountains/ extremely dense rock and dig around the level if you’re too weak.

I am far from an expert in the mechanics of spells . there's some comments by Noby in here that give the details but are way beyond the minds of the "people who don't know" like me, so I'll refer to the wiki and give their summation: "Spells To Power can repeatedly absorb itself with Tentacle With Timer, which can cause the damage to increase exponentially."
This is amazing! But I don't understand the mechanics. Why would the Divide By 3 on Omega suddenly cast millions of Spells To Power? Shouldn't it be casting only 4 copies (original + 3 copies)? My head hurts. I'll probably mess about with this in Spell Lab.

Joe has the gist of it. Divide by 3 is a spell. It casts 3 copies of Omega which casts divide by 3 again 3 times. Each casting divide by 3 again and again lol.

@@devilgene7330 Yeah this game is not about trial and error unless you have 2000 hours to spare and get lucky stumbling on a few hard to know things. I tried doing it w out help and got sad quick. Then I was told the 2 keys. Learn everything you can from wikis and other players and be patient when playing. The longer you take moving around the more the enemies will destroy themselves and thin out. Once you open the door to the community knowledge the games gets 100 times more fun! Killing the boss is just the beginning I was planning on doing an Alchemist Tutorial at some point may as well be this week!

The wand I show how to build takes 9 slots and I found all the pieces in 30 minutes in the main biomes. I did get lucky with the divide by being in a holy mountain. Also I never said I was going to show standard wands for new gamers. I said people starting out don’t know how to build wands. Then I said here are some standard high powered wands but let me show you something simpler. Did you even try to build the 9 slot wand?

Then, watch a basic wand guide and go back and mess around again Even though NOITA often comes down to learning from the community I think wand building is more fun to just mess around with for the first 40 hours or so. I am wondering, if you put divide by 10 from the diamond shrine in the tower (where you bring the curse of the greed) will it duplicate omega 10 times resulting even in more obscure damage?

@@thewitchidolsachika6682 I don't know of any higher percentage area to find it but lemme tell you when I don't need it I find it everywhere lol. When I want it, it's nowhere.
Using this wand as a basis, a divide by 10 was overkill and lagged the game substantially, the damage it dealt displayed as infinity (literally). You have to be careful though, from my understanding, of how this wand works, if it happens to do negative damage, the wand will loop indefinitely and crash your game. Swapping out the divide by 3 with a divide by 2 + divide by 4 gave damage numbers varying from 100 septillion, 10 octillion, & frequently hit 50-60 decillion damage. Highest I managed to hit with that one was 282 Undecillion. That was all with just using 2 basic heavy shots & 2 orbiting arcs for added damage. Didn't even use spells like blood to power, gold to power or crit on X enemies.
@@TheGreatestWorldFox the glimmer modifiers do change how laggy things are in my experience. Doesn't sound too far fetched to me that those particles just aren't drawn w the invisible one
@@lokluv8099 Dunno. Electric Arc flies between projectiles so not sure if it is affected. Would require testing. Spell Labs would probably make it easy to find out

yeah it's easy to make a wand that one shots everything: anything with trigger/timer (preferrably good range so splitter bolt = bad) explosion of thunder congratulations, everything dies (including you if you didn't get electricity or electric immunity)
lightning explosion is lovely but why not use homing with multiple lightning balls or thunder charges on that trigger, that way you leave more room for modifiers once you get later game (ex. adding chain spell or larpa trails with spiral path, piercing, etc.) I think they are more versatile and honestly do more damage if ur going for a lightning wand, wheres all they are worse for is their cast delay and mana cost but those are easily fixed
A better one is homing, piercing, bubble thing with trigger/ any trigger spell with decent lifespan, and something like death nova or plasma cross. 4 spells and it can still do significant damage considering the spell after the trigger goes off every few ticks.

I built this same wand, shot from it once and the game crashed, after restoring and continuing the game had to make the same wand again, but now it doesn't crash, instead spells to power doesn't work now
Reading all these PhD level explanations on wtf is going on and all I can think of is Todd Howard and his iconic quote: "It just works."
Can someone explain this to me, pls?
I am kinda new, but I read the wand building wiki.
What I think I get is:
- The divide reduction on damage is countered by the heavy hit.
- The tentacle is not consumed by spell to power, but kinda keep getting activated until the tentacle vanishs by itself.
- The accumulated damage is given to the bolt.
- The divide by 3 uses the Omega 3 times, creating a 3 new "casts" of everything above.
- Then a recursive amount of this spell is created almost instantly, and on the end, and a exponencial amount of bolts, that accumulated a lot of damage frol the exponential amount of tentacles, hit the target almost at the same time, doing this damage.
Is that it?
The way I was told it works is something with spells to power and tentacle with timer allows spells to power to absorb itself multiple times causing an exponential effect. ngl spells to power is one of the most confusing spell modifiers for me rn in noita
100%. Throw in Divide By spells and some Greek letters and you need a PhD to know what will happen.
That's my go-to build when I have to kill a kolmi with several orbs. This is how I got my 11 and 33 orb runs finished, can confirm that it is very based. Plus it's cheap compared to other wand builds that need like 3 D10s and GoldToPower and a ton of other stuff.

thanks for this; i always end up overthinking and making some wild 20 slot monstrosity with dangerous spells that either doesn't do as much as i thought, or kills me lol -- would it work just as well with a different timer spell than tentacle or is there a reason you chose tentacle?
From what I understand tentacle is the only one that works due to what is either a glitch or an intended result where it goes exponential. There an explanation somewhere in the comments as well as in the wiki about divide by spells.
But hey, try others maybe it’s not 400 quadrillion but would still be high enough to work.

This kind of wand only has one use. 30+ orb kill or deep ng+. Right now I would say the best wands use infestation to drill through the map (no damage to surfaces) and home in on enemies. With perks you dont have to care about self damage. Also spells that can kill without bleeding to keep lag down. If you arent able to go to parallel worlds you are still a little baby because the perks and the spells are required for end game goals.

If you want useful wands to eliminate entire floors of enemies that’s a whole different idea.
And there are variations of this wand with missile that are higher damage with better function.
This was just a fun wand that popped up on a relatively normal run I wanted to share.

For me, the only thing I changed was using a Divide by 4 instead of Divide by 3. Sometimes I get a huge damage, other times I get tiny damge, like 20~300.
It’s all in the aim. You have to aim slightly off the target.
The damage is the same, it's just how soon the game realises you've killed the enemy and stops calculating the damage. Sometimes it realises super soon, sometimes it reaches 13 quintillion before it does.

@@stanalex4544 Hmm, but sometimes, I can't even kill those Hiisi guys in one shot. So I think its because I have to shoot slightly further, so the tentacle triggers the overpowered sparkbolt.
While you might expect higher divide-bys to increase damage further, I've learned from the wiki that you run into strange behaviours when you try to pump things that high 😂

One tip. NOITA isn’t like other roguelites/rogue likes. To really get into the game you have to learn from the community not trial an error. It’s so much bigger and crazier than I ever would have thought had I not lucked into a few great streamers

Where do you find such wands and spells for them?
For the quadrillion damage wand all spells and that wand were found in the main world in reasonable safe areas. 2 of those usually will NOT be found without killing the alchemist (Divide by Three and Omega), but in this particular run only Omega required the alchemist fight.
you can also get divide by 3 from hell shop before doing chest quest
Hell is not easy for newer players. Alchemist is if you have a few simple spells from early biomes.
@@calmlittlebuddy3721 The man speaks truth. The first time I one-shotted the alchemist and got to do some major exploring outside the regular biomes, I managed to blow up the music box on the tree thanks to an errant mushroom. Later found the divide-by spells in hell.
@@timvanarsdel yes I know it’s in hell. But this video is for players who can’t even find hell, never heard of hell and wouldn’t go there unless they had a million health. Now IF you blow up the music boxes yea you’ll need to make other plans but I highly doubt it’s easier than the chest for most players.

@@aXfranXa Yep! Hell is basically a mirror of sky. It's just safer since there's only poly in the areas that mirror the ancient laboratory, whereas in sky there are enemies everywhere that bleed poly. So if you have enough health and stick to the right side of hell, you basically cannot die to the environment.
i don't know if it's because i used regular homing but i had to add long distance cast to this because i almost lost my current god run to self damage from this wand. Scary damage output
What perks did you have that might apply? I will test w spell lab but I don’t think regular homing would cause self damage (not sure about homing perk)

Projectile duplication lots of The normal end game perks. 768k health currently lots of stainless armor haven't kept track of how many. since I'm going to try perk duping. When I'm able to play later I'll try to give better details. But I went from full to like 5 percent health The first time I fired it. Which swapping to long distance cast gave me some safety and haven't hurt myself since

@@calmlittlebuddy3721 just fired a shot at nothing to see if it worked before I attacked something. I think I may have an idea of what happened. I tested it on my teleport circle of vigor wand but had that setup hidden behind a wand refresh. Maybe somehow The wand refresh got bypassed and circle of vigor nuked me
@@reapercometh Crud I should have mentioned I had a similar issue. I think Omega caused spells after wand refresh to trigger. You’ll notice I still have it on there but nothing to the right of it as it kept casting everything before AND after. Once I removed everything to the right of wand refresh it worked as it should. Hmmmm. That could be it.

how to fix slow motion bug of noita? in my runs it will suddenly go on slow motion for no reason
That’s when too many things happening on screen. Fast wands w lots of particles. Too many enemies. World destruction. Turning stuff to sand or smoke. Not much you can do until e everything settles down. NOITA simulates every pixel and so even though it looks like easy simple graphics it eats up CPU
I just take the slow motion as a core feature. You’re peak gaming in Noita if your wand causes either slow motion or a 30+ second freeze.

I can't get this to work. The spark bolt disappears. I have multiple projectile repulsion field/sector stacked, and multiple pinpointer - I assume that is causing the problem?? How would I fix that - maybe accelerative homing with long distance cast or something??
Not that I really need it in this run, but if those perks screw up the build, I may not take them in future runs...
Never tested w those active. Sometimes you gotta aim low to get it to work.

@@sheidah8340 two things. Either you use too much mana w the extra stuff or the honing breaks it. I built it again last night and it works. Build it exactly as shown.

Cool video!!! I started playing a little while ago, trying to figure out the mechanics of the game, do you have any tips?
Two biggest things that helped me was being told to slow down when moving through a biome. Be slow and deliberate. Second biggest tip is don’t try to figure everything out oh my own. It’s a community game filled with people that have tons of knowledge. Use the wiki and watch the big streamers play and ask them questions.
If you want an I’m game too then I would say learn what digging spells work in holy mountains/ extremely dense rock and dig around the level if you’re too weak.

- #1 Omega copy will copy D3 which will copy Omega 3 more times

- #2 Omega copy will copy D3 which will now copy Sparkbolt
- #2 Omega copy will copy Omega
(Omega count = 6 + 1 = 7)
- #3 Omega copy will copy D3 which will now copy Wand refresh

So you get a total of 8X everything on the wand + 2 Sparkbolts

The anwer is - _that's how wands work_. There really is no easy way to explain it, the only way to truly understand it is to read the wiki guides and maybe visit official Noita discord. Theres a wand-help channel in which you can ask for help with understanding wands and people who know how it all works will gladly explain it to you :)

I am far from an expert in the mechanics of spells . there's some comments by Noby in here that give the details but are way beyond the minds of the "people who don't know" like me, so I'll refer to the wiki and give their summation: "Spells To Power can repeatedly absorb itself with Tentacle With Timer, which can cause the damage to increase exponentially."

Joe has the gist of it. Divide by 3 is a spell. It casts 3 copies of Omega which casts divide by 3 again 3 times. Each casting divide by 3 again and again lol.
Edit the tentacles w timer has an effect w spells to power that causes the damage to go exponential
@@calmlittlebuddy3721 Okay, so the copied Divide By 3 has no protection against re-casting the spell after it. That's a bit odd. Wouldn't that mean any use of Omega with a modifier should make it re-cast Omega? Not sure why that doesn't work (I've tried that way and know it doesn't loop).

Would that help? EDIT: you don't even need to fight the Alchemist really. He kills himself like Bridge Boss Cheese but w no jumping. It's pretty safe with certain easy builds that you'll find on most runs.

@@devilgene7330 Yeah this game is not about trial and error unless you have 2000 hours to spare and get lucky stumbling on a few hard to know things. I tried doing it w out help and got sad quick. Then I was told the 2 keys. Learn everything you can from wikis and other players and be patient when playing. The longer you take moving around the more the enemies will destroy themselves and thin out. Once you open the door to the community knowledge the games gets 100 times more fun! Killing the boss is just the beginning

There can be no bugs (except game crashing) in noita. The game is inherently incredibly unfair so any trick you can pull to win is fair game.

The wand I show how to build takes 9 slots and I found all the pieces in 30 minutes in the main biomes. I did get lucky with the divide by being in a holy mountain.
Also I never said I was going to show standard wands for new gamers. I said people starting out don’t know how to build wands. Then I said here are some standard high powered wands but let me show you something simpler.

Even though NOITA often comes down to learning from the community I think wand building is more fun to just mess around with for the first 40 hours or so. Enjoy! Don’t get discouraged the game is HARD at first.

I am wondering, if you put divide by 10 from the diamond shrine in the tower (where you bring the curse of the greed) will it duplicate omega 10 times resulting even in more obscure damage?
Yes but also cause more lag for some. 3 does 400 quadrillion damage and is enough but if all you can get is 10 it will work
@@calmlittlebuddy3721 my pc recently just crashed while i was doing a sun quest run, mostly whiskey affected stuff. so nah, i am definitely getting the coral chest then. by the way, is there an easier way of finding alcohol explosion or sea of alcohol? because whiskey is pretty much the biggest problem for the new perk dupe.
@@thewitchidolsachika6682 I don't know of any higher percentage area to find it but lemme tell you when I don't need it I find it everywhere lol. When I want it, it's nowhere.
Using this wand as a basis, a divide by 10 was overkill and lagged the game substantially, the damage it dealt displayed as infinity (literally). You have to be careful though, from my understanding, of how this wand works, if it happens to do negative damage, the wand will loop indefinitely and crash your game.
Swapping out the divide by 3 with a divide by 2 + divide by 4 gave damage numbers varying from 100 septillion, 10 octillion, & frequently hit 50-60 decillion damage. Highest I managed to hit with that one was 282 Undecillion.
That was all with just using 2 basic heavy shots & 2 orbiting arcs for added damage. Didn't even use spells like blood to power, gold to power or crit on X enemies.
Why does it have to be tentacle timer?
Because it has a weird interaction w divide by spells. Noby has a good explanation in here somewhere.
Not with spells to power? Also, the particles from the heavy shot trail lag the game heavily for me; does the invisible modifier make them not drawn?
@@TheGreatestWorldFox the glimmer modifiers do change how laggy things are in my experience. Doesn't sound too far fetched to me that those particles just aren't drawn w the invisible one

It’s possible. I have another video w infestation and electric arc that comes close to crashing the game.

@@lokluv8099 Dunno. Electric Arc flies between projectiles so not sure if it is affected. Would require testing. Spell Labs would probably make it easy to find out

Which? The quad damage wand has 7. If you mean the rapid fire wand 10 of those are duplicates of mana and damage up so yea it’s simple.

@@enterix987 then ya doing it wrong. Lol. If you aim a bit to the side of your target or will pop for 400 quadrillion. You can see it in the video. I’ve killed many a boss including high orb Kolmi w it. In the next video I’ll show it more clearly. Plus this won’t kill you like saw blade.
yeah it's easy to make a wand that one shots everything:
anything with trigger/timer (preferrably good range so splitter bolt = bad)
explosion of thunder
congratulations, everything dies (including you if you didn't get electricity or electric immunity)

That won't oneshot anything after the jungle. Some enemies are even immune to explosion and lightning damage.
lightning explosion is lovely but why not use homing with multiple lightning balls or thunder charges on that trigger, that way you leave more room for modifiers once you get later game (ex. adding chain spell or larpa trails with spiral path, piercing, etc.) I think they are more versatile and honestly do more damage if ur going for a lightning wand, wheres all they are worse for is their cast delay and mana cost but those are easily fixed
A better one is homing, piercing, bubble thing with trigger/ any trigger spell with decent lifespan, and something like death nova or plasma cross. 4 spells and it can still do significant damage considering the spell after the trigger goes off every few ticks.
