peekers advantage also includes reaction time. if youre swinging on someone and you know where they're at, they now have to react to you, where as you dont have to react to them. thats at least 100-200ms of advantage. along with peekers usually having a WAY more aggressive angle, in csgo its a 75% chance you win that gun fight peeking, in siege its almost a guaranteed kill.

you can get good but you do need a couple of friends in most cases.. pay attention to common spots and just start pre-firing them lol its 70% map knowledge 30% gun skill

About droning: Until I've droned the whole room and every corner and move to the next room, two things happen. Either the round ends or it's on 5vs1 cause everyone else has pushed or someone has entered the room as i'm moving to the next room to drone. Also, in your showcase, when "efficiently" droning, you missed a guy taht could be prone behind the couch. Yes, it's not a popular spot, but sure is possible.
Im extremely new to rainbow. My bf really likes to play rainbow, but I'm more of a cod girl. I think peeking is something thats built in your brain, sure, you can train it and all that, but its something that comes naturally, i have friends that have played for years and they never peek at right times, (very good vid btw)
Another thing to think about when rappelling is the visibility of your rope. Upside down minimizes this as well as letting you swing the first floor runout.

It is because of peek advantage, is way better play by the sound, if you listen footsteps come closer then you open to a gunfight. Instead of being in a tight angle you just wait for the right moment, that helps a lot.

R6S has a goofy hit box as it is so these tips help put the frame data in your favor which will increase your KD and ranking. Some tips of mine I'd like to share 1. Communication. Play this game long enough you'll lose to teams who are communicating and coordinating. 2. R6S isn't COD! No need to run pace yourself and move methodically with your ADS always aimed at a door or window. 3. Map knowledge.
Peekers advantage is ping difference. Angle advantage is if you're holding the longer angle, aka farther away from the corner/wall, the more you will be able to see them before they see you while swinging.
What you explained about swinging as far from the corner as possible, that‘s not peekers advantage, and it‘s definitely not wide-swinging. It‘s called angle-advantage, and it has to do with basic optics. Basically, you want to be as far from the engagement angle as possible. Very common concept in CS and Valorant (and other comp shooters). Wide-swinging, is when someone swings you very far out. Meaning they move further than usual when taking the gunfight. More common (again) in games like CS or Valo where there is movement inaccuracy. Since Siege has a very arcady gunplay, it doesn‘t really matter. You can just prefire and keep moving. Peekers advantage is definitely still a thing, just saying that you‘re using the wrong terminology and wrong reasoning

I keep getting matched up with higher ranks , but someone explained that’s just how ranked 2.0 works so oh well. Overall though it’s a fun game, way more gratifying than COD I’ll tell u that.
alot of great advice in this vid but i would say the peeking thing u were talking about, like not to swing in certain situations is in my experience completely wrong. and its not like i dont know what im talking about, im champ on pc with 4 acc over level 170 and over 5k hrs. but on pc peeking everything is meta, because the aim that some players have in insane.

I have a problem with close swings sometimes... when you're the last one alive on your team and it's more than a 1v1, you panic sometimes and don't think about things like that... something I need to work on.

Peeker's Advantage is very simple, latency works in the favor of those who act first. If you act second, you'll ultimately be a half step behind because of latency and lose based on 50+ ms of delayed reactions
Swing or be Swung: Latency. Your screen will update faster with the enemy if YOU peek, because you're acting faster than the enemy receives their internet packets of in-game information for their game to update actually showing you peeking. Proactive = gets packets on enemy actions faster than reactive players get sitting their camping. It's by a marginal amount, but that marginal amount is all you need for swinging or peeking on an enemy.
The cross hair placement is very important. It boggles my mind when players guns are just pointed at a fridge, at the floor, at a hard beam or reinforced wall. Always keep your gun pointed where an enemy might be.
