The manicurists by me do the very bare minimum re:skin removal. Pedis here’s are like a high-level polish change so I have given up and take care of it at home. When I have extra money I guess I’ll go have an a spa like pedicure but the heavy duty skin removal happens here because they’re not as meticulous as this woman!!!
Never intimidated, pissed off once, when a woman came in straight from gardening barefoot and expected me to get all the dirt out from every crevasse on her toe. That is not in my job description :) I care for the feet and nails, she should have washed the dirt off before she came in to see me. That wasn't a pleasant conversation 😂

You can easily make your own with raw sugar, or course salt, then add coconut oil and essentials oils. Pinterest has some ideas on ingredients to mix into the scrub.

How long do you soak feet before you start a pedicure, and what could I use at home? I can barely stand to touch my own feet, much less get a good professional pedicure. Lol
First apply CND Service essentials cuticle away (or another cuticle remover/softener. You can apply to cuticles as well as calluses & just generally all over the feet. You’ll find dead skin you never knew you had. I Usually let that soak on my feet while I work on the computer & then I either soak feet in a basin of vinegar, salt and dish soap Or will just take a shower and that will be enough. When you’re done wetting feet you’ll see everything comes right off the skin or shaves right off so easily-it’s very satisfying and you’ll feel lig weight after it’s over. LOL I have that big cheese grater apparatus for big sections on bottoms of feet &use cuticle nippers for the small stuff. Seems like a never ending process however and I’m not sure if it’s because I’m using products that are shaving it if that makes the skin grow back faster because it’s trying to recover so the callouses come back right away… But anyway if I accidentally got hit by a truck I wouldn’t want to be embarrassed by my feet for whoever finds me. LOL I think of it that way sometimes I know it’s dark, motivation none the less lol.

I have an allergy to citrus. A lot of foot scrubs and foot lotion have citrus or citric acid in them. Do you know of any that do not?

Any particular reason you use such a small nail cutter? It looks like a lot more work than your regular long toenail cutter.

i think that a 10 minutes soak in hot water with epsom salt would do be trick
