      Took the words right out of my mouth !!!! She gets down and 50 an hr. Is very reasonable considering the time and effort that it takes. Most nail techs r either too lazy to do it, or just don't want to do it. The few times I have had this done in a salon I've handed the girl a 20 b4 we started, paid what I owed her, and handed her another 20 just for doing my toe, so I paid like 80 bucks for one toe but it was well worth it and didn't even look as good as this womans work!!!

    I smashed my big toe and second into a steel leg of a coffee table. I broke the toes. The nails both lifted completely and I have waiting for 1.7 years but it has not grown back. The podiatrist said it has been traumatized. It looks awful but this fix was something I will seek out. Thank you!!

    You're so meticulous doing this. It looks like a real nail. I have no big toe nail and I've always wondered if I can put gel or acrylic directly on the skin so I have a nail, at least during sandal wearing months. When I was in Cosmetology school, no one was ever able to answer that question for me.

    • @diwi5823
      @diwi5823 Год назад +1

      Your comment is years old atp, but if you see this, I believe no one could answer you bcs they didn't have the knowledge. This product being called nanoflex sounds like something flexible for adhesion to skin in the absence of nail. Not sure if regular gel has enough flexibility for skin. And the potential heat spikes oh my. Did you ever try it with regular gel?

    • @nailsbymamabearwolf8180
      @nailsbymamabearwolf8180  Год назад

      If your application is very neat you could probably get away with just a buffer to finish. If there is gel touching the cuticle it will lift so you want to make sure that’s not happening. I do find this process much easier with an e-file but it’s possible to do it without in some cases.

    If you let me question: this material stays until the natural nail is totaly grown down or you have to change the filling in a certain period of time? So if the client leave it on, it is not just esthetical solution because protects from mechanical impacts, and in case of fungal, it helps to stop the infection and close down until the natural healthy nail is grown down, am I right?
    My english is not pefect I hope it makes sense :-)

      The only thing is I'm pretty sure that podiatrist do not use artificial nail products for something like this. They will only cut out the dead toenail and leave it as that.

      @bbsal4031 many podiatrists are not trained in the reconstruction aspect of this procedure. NanoFlex is specifically designed to be worn safely as a reconstruction. I’ve seen the practice of the use of Kerry Gel (acrylic) used often by Drs for reconstruction, and in my opinion that’s a VERY unsafe practice. As both a nail and pedicure professional my training is full spectrum. We are trying very hard to bring awareness to NanoFlex Education into the Podiatrist field.

      @@nailsbymamabearwolf8180 I am also a licensed nail technician, I have to build toenails on a few of my customers. I have always used acrylic for that, but would like to try this it looks excellent.

    What would you recommend for toe nails that went through in grown toenail surgery? It’s been a few months since I got the procedure but my toes look ugly 🥺

      This service can be done on toes that have been treated like yours as long as there is some natural nail for the gel to adhere to.

    Wouldn’t this give her toe fungus again?
    Her toes looked like it had fungus previously.

      Yeah indeed, and treating them without wearing gloves 🧤
      It doesn’t look very professional and hygienic.

      I have responded to this comment multiple times. If you are listening in the video I talk about how this was a damaged nail. This was not fungal in any way. So gloves are an option and up to the discretion of the tech. If you watch the follow up video you’ll see how the nail grew back completely attached and healthy. That was only possible because I removed the damaged nail. Had that been left, it definitely could have become a fungal issue. NanoFlex reconstruction gel is designed for this type of treatment. It’s flexible so it’s comfortable and safe for wear on toes. It’s also formulated with Nano Silver, which have anti bacterial/anti fungal properties.

    Turned out very BEAUTIFUL..
    But NO WAY I would never preform that service.. only a professional foot doctor should remove that toe nail. If that kicked to skin and got infected YOU would be in a lawsuit

      I’m trained and licensed to perform this service in fact so I’m confident in my abilities. Foot doctors tend to lack in the ability to perform the service with proper aesthetics in mind. They have the skills to get the job done but often it doesn’t look pretty which is unfortunate. No issues or lawsuits in the over 15 years I’ve been doing this😊

    For over the last 20 years I've been embarrassed to wear sandals because my big toe I looked in to purchasing nano flex which I was unable to do so because I'm not a nail technician which I think is absolutely crazy scene I've been doing my toes with acrylic for the last 20 years I'm not going to pay a $150 to have two toes done when I'm quite capable of doing them myself. The people at Nano flex Act like they're out to help people they're out to make money and that's it But I got good news I found Pedisafe kit $190 that's tax and shipping included and they are An amazing product I highly recommend them

      I personally know the creator of NanoFlex and I can assure you that her passion is in the quality of the products and putting it into the hands of properly trained individuals. I stand by that 100%! Just because you CAN perform a service on yourself doesn’t mean you SHOULD. I’m sorry you feel the way you do and wish you luck with what you’ve ordered. I caution you though to seek out a professional to help you with this.

      You’re paying more for a product of lesser value instead of going to a licensed professional? They’re not out to make money, they’re out to supply people, who went to school to get a certification, with the products they need to do services like the one done in the video. $150 pays for the service, and piece of mind it will be done correctly, with artistic expertise, and for the high quality products used to perform said service. Also, you might be able to find a nail tech who would reconstruct the toenail for less than that if you’re not looking for a pedicure as well. Anyways, I sincerely hope you reconsider as well. And at the very least I hope you’re mindful of whatever monomer you’re using. It’s sad how many consumer available monomers contain chemicals you shouldn’t have on your nails.
