I’ve been waiting for this for so long, so it’s so nice to see an actual announcement! I really hope they add an unlimited map, so you can recreate parks/ resorts, switch tracks, separate stations for loading and unloading, and above all, TRACKLESS DARK RIDES
So many awesome things to come I'm sure! :)
If they have an unlimited map I really hope they optimize this game to actually let you simulate those large parks. You can’t do that in PlanCo1 because you aren’t able to have both a large Disney/universal style park AND a realistic amount of guests without your PC or console struggling hard to keep up
@@thecoasterfollower3564 an unlimited park sounds incredibly undoable in any regard, and while guests weren't perfectly optimized in Planco 1, they still are a crazy large amount of calculations and memory needed :p aka they won't be able to code millions of guests to run perfectly XD
@@imaginationsquare I’m talking about a guest count that reflects that of actual large parks. If a game is gonna advertise “build a park of your dreams” then they should actually give that experience. I’m talking around 30k-50k guests which is what parks like cedar point/disney usually get.

For me the nr 1 thing that i'm waiting for is building roller coasters with features like swing launches, turbntables, switch tracks, drop tracks etc.
All of those would be incredible! :)
According to RUclipsr Nerdchacho, drop tracks have been confirmed. Not sure about the others but I’m staying hopeful !

I’m mostly excited about track ride vehicle customization. Since I had a hard time adding lights on the track vehicle for the transformers ride remake. Now I’ll be able to make it into a reality.

It's been so long since the original game launched and so many rumours of this sequel that, I honestly wasn't sure it would ever happen. But now we know it's here and out this year. Like a totally unexpected announcement out of nowhere, but very welcome. I'm so excited to see what this game will bring and I can't wait to see what amazing parks and rides we can all create with it.

I really hope they add multiplayer options that allow multiple users to work on the same park. I'd love to see RMC raptors added along with more train customization for existing rides.

It's obviously very early days but the website mentions a "franchise mode" I don't suppose that was mentioned at all to you. Things from Planet Zoo like animal trading which made that one so interesting don't seem to fit in, unless you can "sell" your roller coaster designs but with the workshop doubt that'll be a money maker!
There are loads of features I'm sure haven't been revealed yet, super interesting to see what comes later :)
i have only been into planet coaster for about 2 years but i have at least 100 hours and im extremely exited for this

I hope they have tons of new Intamins(newgen backbone track stuff, MDCs,etc! And I cannot wait to build waterslides!

I'm so happy that this day finally came. For me the most important thing is that Planco 2 will be more optimized than 1, but with the new scaling feature I bet the game will generally be less heavy for all platforms, as this feature comes with having to place less objects. I'm a bit worried about having to finish my park within three months haha, but once the release is there I'll probably be over that. Lovely video again!

Fingers crossed for swing launch, rmc raptors, and s&s free spins. Some honorable mentions that I hope transfer over from PlanCo 1 are wing coasters, b&m hyper/gigas, b&m inverts/flyers, rmc, floorless, intamin blitz, intamin pulse, hydraulic launches along w LSMs, and arrows (specifically magnum xl) So so excited for this game! Thanks for the info man, can’t wait to see more updates from you

While I would like it too, probably not. The dlc coasters will most likely be in base game though
I doubt it, I'd assume there will be all new DLCs
Technically it should be possible to import the old assets into PC2, but I could imagine that they would artificially make it impossible. I really hope I can just drag and drop my asset folder from PC1 into PC2's asset folder

I really hope they fixed the cameras because they were really janky. I hoped the sound had been improved as a lot of the ride sounds weren't that accurate, especially brakes, so that's hopeful you said they sounded better.

If they’re advertising this as a game where you could build these large type of resorts…I hope they actually optimize this one. Disney and Universal have average guest sizes of like 40k, and if this wants to be a true simulation I really hope they FINALLY optimize the game to let your large parks be able to handle this many guests. PlanCo1 never could, but with this being a console day 1 release, I have a lot of hope this will be doable.
PC1 was well optimised for when it released, now tech has improved hugely so hopefully it will be more powerful than before and be able to have much bigger and detailed parks :)

I want to be really excited for this but from the looks of it, I feel like Planet Coaster 2 could have just been a big update for Planet Coaster, i love all these new changes but I hope they add more to give a more reasonable reason on why it's a sequel and not an update or just another DLC.
Its an improved engine with loads of new features, most of which we probably haven't seen yet. Just wait for more to be announced :)

I really don't feel anything for the waterpark implementation, but all the other mentioned improvements are amazingly welcome!
More content is always great and its still Planet Coaster at its heart, loads more coaster content I'm sure is still yet to be announced :)

There will be a frontier workshop in-game I assume, just like it is on console, but accessible for all platforms :)

Yes, they're back and better than before! :)
Only concerns is the bashing the game gonna get coz the old themes and some flat rides will not make their way right away into PC2.
I do hope myself there's gonna a few theme like sci fi or western that does return with the base game but i doubt it, especially considering how Frontier has been doing these past years.
