This wargame miniature collection is fully painted and very cool and features games like Infinity, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Guild Ball, Gaslands, Moonstone, Batman, and Malifaux!

These minis look amazing! To me the colors look so saturated and really pop, I love that.
Thanks! I think over time I realized the secret was not to rely on applying white or black to my main color when I'm highlighting or doing shadows, since it completely removes the color.

Seriously though, I'm not a miniature gamer I know I'm not good at painting and having ugly miniatures would stress me out 😆 but it's real cool to see these.

The guildball thing. I think the community took it very personally but misunderstood what Steamforged was trying to say. To me, I read it as: "We made a game that is very competitive, and the fans of it love it for that reason. But the game is not friendly to new players and we don't know how to fix that without alienating our existing fans. But, our existing fans have collected most of the miniatures they're going to collect, so we're not selling models and can no longer support the game"
But people took that as saying that it was the community who was keeping out new players because they were too competitive. While this was kinda true this was always a fault of the game design. Infinity had the exact same issue, but they released Code1. Should SFG have done the same? I wish they had. But it would have cost money to develop and if it didn't work they'd be in a worse place, so no matter what it was a gamble and they decided not to take it.
I still think it has nothing to do with what they say and everything to do with focusing all their manpower on creating board games and kickstarters because they probably feel it's more financially beneficial in the long run.
@@TabletopTurtle yes. Rewriting the rules means paying staff to do so. If they do that and then don't get a bump in model sales they've lost money. Without knowing their business I can't say whether it was a lack of courage or simply the only option. I haven't bought anything they've produced since either.
