Here is a chatty life update on what my life has been like this year with my big life changes, the amazing retreats I've ran with Modest Fitness Retreats, my thoughts on being Muslim for 2 years now, and what's to come in my life like my upcoming trips, group tours I'm running and Islamic and Arabic sessions I'm doing!

How did you learn the different prayers and what to do? I'm trying to read the Qur'an at the moment but I feel like a lot of it goes over my head.
You can buy an interactive prayer mat , its called " My Salah Mat" , have a look on YT , its great.
Hey even as a born Muslim I couldn’t do it without a teacher it’s hard and it’s nice to have someone correct you. Are you able to attend classes in a mosque or even online?

For reading, study the book Al-Qaida Al-Noraniah and then do the practical application of reading by spelling from Surat Al-Ikhlas until Surat Al-Shams
To learn the Arabic language, watch Shamsi TV. They teach non-native speakers of the Arabic language from the book Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, because the Arabic language is the key to Islamic sciences.

QURANIC TEACHING
2:177. It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces towards East or West;
but it is righteousness to believe in Allah and the Last Day,
and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers;
to spend of your substance, out of love for Him,
for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer,
for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves;
to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity;
to fulfill the contracts which ye have made;
and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity,
and throughout all periods of panic.
Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing.
2:285. The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord,
as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah,
His angels, His books, and His apostles.
“We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His apostles.”
And they say: “We hear, and we obey:
(We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys.”
4:136. O ye who believe!
Believe in Allah and His Messenger,
and the Scripture which He hath sent to His Messenger
and the Scripture which He sent to those before (him).
Any who denieth Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messenger, and the Day of Judgment,
hath gone far, far astray.
