I was initially concerned when I learned that my Investment Portfolio was being moved to Charles Schwab from TDA, but after watching hours of tutorials such as this I only wish the change had happened years ago. I have learned a great deal watching the Educational Coaches share their knowledge, and it's evident Charles Schwab cares about their clients when presenting videos such as this. Thank you so very much!
I'm new to TOS & Schwab. Please keep videos like this coming. Initially a bit overwhelmed with all the information, but now that I'm getting caught up I appreciate the deep dive into features.
When making the watchlist, please clarify the percent % and description need to be in the order as displayed in the video. Took me too long to figure out the display won’t work if they are switched.

I cannot find a description anywhere of what the different colors mean in Level 2. What does yellow/white mean? Also it seems that there is some disagreement as to what the change in colors means on Time and Sales. Please explain these in detail. Thank you!

I would like to do day trading. Can I use TOS to watch a single stock. like FITB. I want to watch live numbers and be able to trade with a single key stroke.
Dale, You can use thinkorwsim to watch and number of stocks, futures, and currencies. thinkorswim has the ability to use hot keys which can be programmed for various features including trading. ^CH
I'd like to set up a custom OCO Bracket using percentages instead of dollar values for my sell limit and stop. Is that possible? If so, how would I do that? Thank you!
Yes you can! I'm going to paste you a link to a class I taught that shows you how to do that. The activity starts about the 34 minute mark. ruclips.net/video/DakCD2Gi0G0/видео.html

Infrormation is good but slowing down would be even more helpful so one can see exactly where you are clicking to make the modifications, this is not an intuitive platform
Can we get this video in Black and White Background? This white on black is hard for me to read and gives me a migraine, straining to read as he is talking.
If you are looking for something that updates more quickly than one minute, you can change your time frame to a tick chart. Start at the time frame (like D for daily). Choose time frame in the upper right. In Aggregation type chose tick. Choose tick to get the constant updates. ^CH

I'm new, and this was full-blown terrible. If this is supposed to be for new users, you get an F. Think about the audience. The user is clearly an expert at the product, just not a teacher.
Greetings, I’m new as well. I wouldn’t say it was horrible but it was advanced but I enjoyed it. The only thing I would suggest and that’s probably with most chart video trainings is the use of a highlighted mouse pointer or make it larger to the audience can track the moves a little easier. Besides that it was good. One more thing, It just may be helpful to show how to reset the chart to default before starting a how to. I accidentally hit some buttons and had a hard time getting my screen back to normal. Thank you for your instruction.

Great stuff. I slowed the video down to 75%. Much more digestible :)
How did you slow the video down?
thanks, exceptional demo!
SO helpful! Thank you!!
Is Schwab going to keep this software long term?
Yes, Schwab is committed to keeping thinkorswim as one of it's trading platforms. ^CH

You'll actually need to click on the 'Monitor' tab to see each of your current positions. ^MF

The platform is nice, to0 bad that Schwab are way too lazy or they just don't care about the thousands of customers asking to improve the Hot Keys
Try to move a little slower you move to fast for first time users and talk slower
No good platform, useless for stock trading
