Cameron May is the best when it comes to explaining Options or anything trading related. He is the reason why I was able to understand Options better and apply what I learned successfully! I had a RUclips playlist with his teachings, but they have since deleted all of the TD videos. The ones they offer now are nowhere near in comparison to the detailed ones TD had. Alas, I'm glad I was able to find a good refresher delivered by Cam! Happy Trading😊
I was listening blindly while driving. Now I need to grab a coffee and a notebook and learn. I will turn around my account this year with this knowledge.
It would be appropriate to exit if you hit a target, recognize the stock is breaking support or other measurement. Also if the stock doesn't move half the target in half the time you thought it would take, some will exit. It could occur any time before options expiration. Some exit at first signs of weakness. These are better markers than X number of days. ^CH
Traders/Investors will do this, but will need to consider the premium of the put(s) and potential changes to implied volatility, among other things prior to the purchase. ^MF
Some traders risk only 0.5% of their portfolio!? So we shouldn't be putting 75% of our account in naked calls? Seriously though, I think the most important thing is setting up exit strategy prior to doing any trade.

This is without a doubt the bess training lesson that i have ever had... i will watch it several times to get in all the detais. Thank you!!
Great video! It was all crystal clear and didn't move too fast.
Thanks.
Cameron you have one of the best long call option video on RUclips but wanted to know why you recommend 50-100 days out and nothing longer ?
It just wasn't within the scope of the topic being presented. You could go out longer if you wish. ^CH
@@CharlesSchwab would you say there is a sweet spot like an optimal range ? Where profits are good but you don’t lose a lot of theta decay ?
What is that specific date or time frame to exit Is it after 1 day, the same day, or 2-3 days? This would helpful in terms of a guideline. Thank you.

Thank youfor another great video. Please do a video about how to pick LEAPS stocks.
Good and comprehensive training on long call positions.
❤amazing work
clear and super helpful !
why not by a put with it as insurance, which can reduce losses?

I wish these videos existed when I was taking the 7 back in 2018
