Fr he was like the Charlie Brown of Degrassi, the only slack they gave this man was when he turned down Holly J like a boss. I would’ve liked to have seen that story comeback around where he did end up with her for a bit, that would’ve been way more entertaining than whatever her relationships were with Blue or Declan.
You can tell they didn’t know what to do with Toby after season 4. All his plots were in support of other characters. His only character trait was being good with computers but that meant nothing by the mid 2000’s are we all were good with computers. But I do want to say Manny doesn’t get enough credit for being the greatest friend on the show and she took a lot of verbal from these same friends.

I just assumed Toby kind of blamed Mia unfairly for JT's death. Grief makes you want to place blame all over the place. And misplaced romantic moments are part of grief, too. But it was still hard af to watch.
I think Toby wanted to be with liberty because of the grief of losing his best friend and POSSIBLY feeling guilty over having JT go after Liberty before being stabbed of course TOby had no foresight this would happen Lets not forget the next episode dealt with EMMAS guilt over the situation of this happening at an avoidable juncture cause guilt makes u do weird shit

This was definitely always one of my least favorite episodes. Especially after something so significant happened in the previous episode! 😓 Such a filler ep, I usually skip it! 🙄🙄
The episode was poorly timed but your cut outs make this video funnier than it should be 😂 I think the writers put the storyline together because of JT's and Liberty grief-stricken friendship after JT passed away it was just poorly timed and in bad taste.
