- That makes three.
For me, scoring takes priority over avoiding bombs during the stage portion here, since you pretty much have to perfect Suwako in order to reach 900 million, and the stage portion is easy anyway (in contrast to Flandre's and Nue's). I still consider it perfect enough as long as I don't die, the boss/midboss are perfected, and all bombs were planned for scoring purposes.

Congratulations! A real pleasure to watch. And now I know how to deal with the stage portion. In my best attempt so far I just barely made it to Suwako. Maybe it is easy, but definitely more intimidating than Ran's stage when you don't know exactly what to do.
Well, I figured it was just a matter of time before you beat me on this one. Congratulations!
Maybe I'll make another attempt at it at some point, but this looks really tough to beat!
That was very good. It gave me lots of anxiety, too.
How often have you played each of those stages? You know that Extra stages rely heavily on memorization (either by experimenting with different strategies or copying others), I hope?
Also, I recommend some planned bombs in the second half of Suwako's stage (and Koishi's); there's no loss survival-wise (and possibly a gain in score if it helps you collect items) as long as you reach the boss with no deaths and full power.
This Extra probably has the easiest stage portion. I don't think any of it comes close to certain parts of the second half of Ran's stage.
Then again, many of the stage enemies in this game are trivialized by ReimuA (in exchange for the boss phases taking like 1.5x longer than with ReimuB/Marisa). Even that part around 1:00 where it gets dense would have been trivialized if I was at 4+ power.
You see, somehow I just keep getting trapped by the bullets in Suwako's stage. In contrast, I find most of Ran's stage rather easy to deal with by simple, instinctive left-right dodges. Of course, this is all from a survival-centered perspective.
Is it just me,... or is Kanako the only midboss whose background during a nonspell changes a bit...
You make this look easy.
I know. Once you reach the point where there's no major losses in faith, no bombs that aren't beneficial, and all star items and most/all point items collected (including point items from bosses that only appear if at full power), it's hard to find room for improvement in this game. Though there's certainly still room for improvement, considering how the world record for Extra ReimuA (at the time of this comment) is 34.5 million higher than this.
Of course I know that, but comparing my experiences, I still find Suwako's stage harder to simply survive. Or it's just a case of me being unable to do the simplest things in Touhou lately...
