The “bad dog” recurring bit was the best joke by far as a loving pet owner
Pet owners often also call their pets "bad boy" or "bad girl" if they misbehave, but not "bad dog" or "bad cat". It's just so...cold and impersonal, it strips away the animal's personality and renders them just a thing.

I hope Cosmo sticks around. She was a fun character in the film, kind of a small part but hopefully she will pop up again in a Disney Plus show or something some day.

In the post-credit scene, COSMO is part of the next Guardians of the Galaxy team .

On a side note: Maria has done so well to develop her English and also confidence since I first saw her interviews with Sacha for promoting Borat. At that time she looked more nervous and her English wasn't as good - so great work to her with this role and also developing herself!

I honestly wanna see BTS footage of her playing Cosmo. After all, they confirmed that she didn't only provide the voice, but that she actually did mocap. I just can't picture this beautiful woman moving around like a dog while in a spandex suit 😂.

How come we're getting Cosmo the Space_Dog now in the Vol.3 movie? What type of role is she going to play in this movie against High Evolutionary and Adam Warlock?
Actually its a pretty powerful character
She had cameos in the first two movies and the holiday special, so this is her breakout movie role. She's a talking animal, so she might have a connection to the high evolutionary and rocket. She's a guardian in the comics. And she's a powerful telekinetic. Other than that, I don't know why she's been chosen to fully appear now.
