The Nerf Stryfe/Rapidstrike Eclipse flywheel cage is a very cool new innovative product. I definitely think it's great that we are pushing the limits of the flywheel system. This cage is the best hope, as of now, to achieve that 200 FPS benchmark, with a single stage flywheel set up. I guess the real question is at what cost and how much are you actually gaining from it. Something that will definitely need to be tested and researched further. I really hope the second generation of this cage solves all the issues I stated in the video. Hopefully I will be able to test and review the newer cage and flywheel also. Thank you guys so much for watching this very long and in-depth review. It took a lot of time and energy to make, so I greatly appreciate it.

I agree with you on the scared darts due to the edge between the wheels.

So I bought the eclipse cage and wheels last month. Just got my replacement wheels in a couple days ago. First you do need the 3d motor pusher or the motors will break. I used a screw driver to remove the old wheels and it was very hard. After testing accufakes, waffles, koosh and elites I only had koosh that didnt have heads blown off. Accufakes were just as bad as waffles for me.

It’s a real bummer our max FPS is 150 at naptown because that blaster is sweet
If you have snikkas flywheels, can you compare the outer and inner diameter to this wheels?
Instead of grinding down the cage to fit worker 22s why don’t you just grind down the magazine dart holder? Also what epoxy putty did you use?
where do you get koosh darts? whenever i find them they are pretty expensive

Im guessing my new motors are toast do to results.
The low numbers are very damaged darts. A cut the length of the dart @ 3 oclock.
Using racing 4s lipo and yamix darts.

UPDATE!!!!! A friend modified the cage for me so it takes worker talons no issue. And it's amazing. Great cage. I love my stryfe and it was worth the money. I paid for the metal one instead of a 3D printed one for the bling bling.
Downside, my stryfe is probably one of the heavier practical stryfes in the hobby now.
I may mod a rapidstrike to have burst fire options, idk. But then I'll have more room for other things like lights, displays, etc etc.

@@darkwhite1259the eclipse cage is comparable to a daybreak cage, it's almost like the proto type. Both in spacing and wheel design. Mine does about 165fps on short darts with kraken motors. I have the metal cage.
A 3D printed 39mm daybreak cage will get you better results, but Banned Blasters makes the highest fps you'll get to my understanding.
It's also important to note, that fps is one thing, accuracy is another. I'll take lower fps if it means more stable darts.
I'm still experimenting with certain fps for low fps events like HvZs which average between 120 and 130.
But if you're looking for just high fps, 3D printed daybreak is the cheapest and best way to go in my opinion. Out of Darts sells them.

No. There aren't any metal cages for it, the only cage I know that will work is the 3d printed Containment Crew cage. Actually will be showing that off on that channel soon.

Try the worker motor on amazon with the coolook batteries (LIFEPO)

FVJ's hard tips do not work in high crush cages like this.

Im not impressed that they clam 200+ yet didnt say it wasnt usable. Which it isnt.
Cage as it stands with accufakes is 170ish not 200+
All this 200+FPS stuff is silly anyway its just a number at that point and 130FPS is more than enough for almost any situation your going to get into with a flywheel blaster.
joeofdoom so you must not play with modded blasters lots. We have lots of caliburns and prophecys and a fdl2. Sorry but a stryfe at 130 is outranged against these blasters.
You honeslty think 130 vs 170+ is the same?
You dont seem to understand the difference between maximum range and effective range. Even with the best flywheel setup physically possible and the best darts your not going to be any more effective than anyone else except on a completely coverless field because your actual effective range is maybe 10-15ft more. Dont bring caliburns and prophecys into this they are meant for half length darts and its not even a fair comparison as for the FDL its stupid expensive and not really significantly better than most overhauled stryfes.
If you think a very minor improvement in performance for a much higher price point is really a good trade off then good for you but it aint worth it as far as im concerned.

Maybe you just feel annoyed you spent so much money on an FDL that you have to justify it anyway you can. If you think at anything beyond 50ft full length darts dont veer off target then your just lying to yourself there are too many variables in play to make them consistent even at that range. I've watched TK1138s videos and we're messaging on naptowns video so its pretty fucking clear I watch his stuff.
If you want precision blasters Bradley Philips is your man. TK has nice stuff but even so hes still more of a accuracy by volume kind of player.
