I haven’t started yet, but already know that I’m in no hurry to move up. I want to enjoy the process! And race different style cars and road surfaces. More is fun!
I just started my iracing today sub today. 2 years. First time iracing player. Though I have years of sim racing experience through various games. Looking forward to the onlne community.
how is it going i dont understand where to start. I have experience too f1 games and gt7 mostlikely so i can adapt really fast to diffrent cars and tracks. The only thing is is it worth with a single monitor?
@Cnlne definitely still worth it with a single monitor. As far as how it's going, I've not raced online yet, just practice lobby with players. Today I'll try the Mazda Cup.
@@GalactusTheDestroyer i want to test it but i am scared if i pay i wont play at all and im most scared if my pace is gonna be trash compared to gt7 im like 0.4-1 second behind the top guys
@Cnlne I feel ya. I got lucky and got my 2 years on sale half off. So I can just race whenever I want. I'm just too worried about my irating when I shouldn't. Even though I've yet to go online lol. I just have to go for it.
@@GalactusTheDestroyer go for ut and dont focus on irating i did exactly the same 2years ago when i started with gran turismo and was stuck at B rating and when i told myself fuck it just have fun and try the best and not focus on rating i went from B to the highest ranking on the game so yeah if you focus on that you put yourself on alot of pressure just think about its just a game we all make mistakes and if you know you got the pace u know u will get up there with some work. 😃
Never start from the pits. You might miss a turn 1 pileup but you’re also certainly taking yourself out of contention, lowering your irating and won’t become a better driver. My advice is to just learn how to avoid crashes, play it a bit safer and learn to race safely. You’ll get a better irating and be in higher lobbies where crashes are less likely and your safety rating will shoot up.
Pretty good video... But for anyone watching this, wanting to get into iRacing..... The licence upgrades aren't as easy as this video makes out... Yes, Safety rating is very important in Sim Racing... But it isnt as simple as "finish the season with a 3.0 rating to progress to next licence class".... It takes ALOT of racing, and grinding, To build up that safety rating....
I played need for speed back on windows 95 up to Forza 7 on my Xbox. Just got a dd wheel load cell pedals and Iracing and spun out immediately and hurt my thumb hah. Absolutely hooked, I get tunnel vision with this sim unlike any other racing game.
Best way to get started is to groom yourself to the idea that they are milking you money every month on top of everything else you have to pay for. In a video game. Good luck.
I'm a 53 yo getting starting . My question is can I just jump in and get started racing or should I ghost race for awhile? Is there a lot of arguing online ? I know I'm going to make tons of mistakes, just don't want the drama playing a game .
Hello. You can definitely join online racing. People will be mad but it's a part of racing. Everybody at every level is mad at someone. Even the pros throw tantrums so it's ok to start.
There's a lot of road rage but just drive in a considerate manner and remember that the lead car has the "right of way" unless you're basically right beside them in the corner Don't barrel into the racing line from 2nd unless you know you can make a clean overtake Patience is key
Hello. It can be quite basic. 16GB RAM is enough and if you have at least a 2000 RTX Nvidia GPU with a good enough processor with Intel that is at least 12th generation. That is enough to run this game
@RoadRager2311 because if you buy all the some stuff In iracing that’s over a 100$ easy, your gonna need a wheel and pedals, a cockpit to put them jn , and you need a pc that can actually run iracing, shit adds up quick
@Official_Dream in terms of getting going, you've explained everything I've done, and I'm no where near 3k, and that's spending just over 1.2k on the PC and I'm still not over 1.5k total.
i understand, thanks for the reply i have a tricky personality and can be a idiot at times and i apologize to you for that.I appreciate the time you take to make your videos!@@TrackTitan
as a 42 year old with 35+ years of gaming experience, I am about to start my iracing arc

What ya think of it
Best guide for ranks
I'm about to start in the next few months, thanks for the tips!
@@Beecliptic Let us know how it goes and if we can help with any more advice!
Honestly, my main interest is purely dirt oval track. Probably doesn't hurt that I grew next to Fairbury American Legion Speedway lol
My boyfriend convinced me to get a wheel, and well, I am absolutely addicted to iRacing now. I adore it and hope I can become cracked (':

It’s a lot more difficult to move up licenses than you make it seem.

Is it smart to go to Ferrari 296 gt3 after getting d class i really want to
Thanks a lot
Appreciate the tips, but it would be great if you guys could focus the near-future efforts on working out the app bugs.
How good has a Computer to be for iRacing?

1 problem i only have a ps4 controler and i still bought the game
JUST TELL ME TRACK TITAN I CANT DO IT MAN I WONT ABLE GET IRACING:(
Best tip , have at least 3,000 $ to start

Informative video but why, dear god why, do youtubers put loud ass music over their videos. It's so hard to concentrate on what you're saying.
Hello. Thanks for the heads up we will make it better for the next video to come out.
this isn't a how-to video. not sure what it is.
It's a good video.... 👍
Beginner tip. Get your wallet out😂 to buy something you can't own
Hello. You don't need to buy something. The MX5, Formula Vee or the Formula 1600 are a great way to get started in Iracing for free
