- Now we've done a dyno run on the give away bike, it's time for an update covering the results, the plan and what comes next.
SOMEBODY IS GOING TO WIN ASBO - That's right, somebody who supports the QuickBikes channel and the bikes I'm building is going to be the proud owner of a completely custom built Suzuki Bandit Cafe Racer once it's finished. I'm giving away ASBO to celebrate hitting the 10,000 subs mark to somebody who supports the channel.
To stand a chance of winning the bike once its finished, simply donate £10 to the channel using the PayPal link - www.paypal.com...
Where it says "What's this payment for?", enter "Supporting the channel". That way I know what the payment is for and I can make sure your name goes in my hat.
You can donate as much as you like and each £10 donation to the channel will get you another chance to win the bike as you're supporting us that much more.
If the winner is not in the UK, I can crate it up etc, but the shipping will be their responsibility. If you're in the UK, we'll be able to arrange something.
Please, please, please like and share this video as it will be setting the budget to finish the bike and hopefully raise some additional funds so I can include some spanky bits in the build. The bigger the budget, the better the bike you might end up with.
THIS IS NOT A RAFFLE...
You won't get a ticket or a sticker in the post, but I'll publish a list of names regularly, so you know you you've been entered. Somebody who has chipped in will be randomly picked once the bike is finished and as a thank you for supporting us will be the proud new owner of ASBO.
The very BEST of luck to you if you chose to join in and help support the channel 😁👍

you like the comments you say... well heres one of no importance, all praise.
when i get home from work the first thing i do is head to the garage and grab a beer, then i hit up youtube, yourself, Matt, Craig and Andy are my Please Please Please's always hopeful for a random upload out of the ordinary, theres a fair few others, but you guys make it feel like more of a hang out rather than this is what is happening heres the result. its why i follow cleatus, ave, two stroke stuffing, skid factory, mcm ect... its real, theres no BS just hanging out in the shed.
Love your videos bro, you dont give yourself enough credit, thank you for the opportunity to hang out
That's really cool matey, thank you. This channel is only ever going to be a 'fly on the wall' kinda thing rather than a 'how to' channel. I prefer it that way, and having folks chipping in with comments etc is a bit like having your mates there as well 😁👍
Thanks for watching dude 👍
Looking fwd to see what the carb upgrades does on the Dyno, exhausts sounds awesome, don't forget to renew that broken air pod..Not sre but check to see if you're bike needs a chain guard for safety if u take it for that inspection prior to registration.. Ozzy
Yeah, well be going through the manual and chatting with the folks at MSVA before the test. 😁👍
I am loving it all coming together. Can I suggest with front mudguard make it as long as you can as don’t want anything coming and hitting that lovely sounding exhaust.
Hehehe... It's got to look good and be functional basically hey 😁👍
Stick a keyring on the end of the choke rail.
Simples
It may end up that simple 🤣😂
All sounds awesome to me, thanks for the update. 😁👍
No worries, thanks for watching matey 👍
It's coming along nicely 👌
It's gonna be good matey 😁👍
Its always nice to get update, and i am happy as you are when you heard it running, shame video cannot really show all that and sound but still, supper happy. Well, my bike is down now for few years cause of burnt piston, to rebuild it its insane price at least for me even tho that should be way to do it. I have bought in mean time some crashed bikes engine as "running" engine and i hope i did not got scammed, also i have full exhaust, KN filter and powerc ommander, but i am skeptical about dyno, cause i dont know in what state is that engine so if that blows up, well idk what then
Thank you matey, it was a very GOOD day 😁👍 I know what you mean about it being a gamble on a new bike with a Dyno run. May not be worth the risk until you've put a load of miles on it to bed stuff in... 👍
@@QuickBikes Oh, its not new one thats for sure, bought used from random guy and its kinda cat in the bag, never know what you are getting, but it was something that i could afford. Ill adjust valves see what does timing chain look like and well i cant take sump off to see if there is play in rod bearings i really dont know what else can i check before i start it up. Keep up the good work, and greetings from croatia, i slap like on every vid in hope it helps channel
Thank you matey,, that's very much appreciated 😁👍
👍
😁
Hi Quicky. The bike sounded brilliant I hope you can keep the exhaust system. Did you get a decibel reading at Dyno? Your comment about time taken on this build was bang on, considering that a lot of that time has also involved making n' sorting other stuff not directly for Asbo, stuff that will be used for other projects, frame jig,.lathe, milling machine, English wheel n' so on. All work that you won't need to do for future projects. So I reckon you've done pretty good all in all. Have you decided a definite front mudguard? It sounds like it from your comments. I think it'd definitely look better, plus obviously keeping front of motor, rad etc cleaner n' protected from stone chips. Probably get away without one in a country that has better weather than us. Shame to spoil your hard work eh? Real progress happening now mate. All good. Onwards n' upwards. 👍👍
Hiya matey. We didn't get a db reading as to be honest I completely forgot about it. That said apparently there's a meter on the way to me and I've also ordered a db killer to try. The idea is to get everything sorted so we're happy with it, get an noise level reading and also a power run with and without the db killer, just out of interest. There's been a lot of effort put in to get this far, but I've loved all of it and like you say, the next one will go quickerer. Thanks for chipping in matey 😁👍
Loved the dyno vids. Just a question. If the exhaust is too noisy for it to pass the SVA, won't changing it to comply affect the way it runs, and require rejetting/dyno all over again?
Love the look and sound of the exhaust as is, but I fear you won't get it through the SVA like that? Hope I'm wrong mate.
It could do... Thing is that once it's passed, the exhaust could always be swapped again. I've got a db killer coming to see what that does to noise and power once we get all the jetting sorted as it could be an easy solution 😁👍
What dB was it producing, be a shame to rejet and adjust the carbs for the exhaust then it fails the noise test?
No idea matey, but I have a meter coming and also a db killer 🤣😂
All I did to my trusty ol grunt machine gsf1200 was a new bank of RS38 carbs and an extra tooth front sprocket... What a difference.
The 1200's are way more forgiving from what I've seen.... Gonna have to funk one up at some point soon... 😁👍
What's the handling like in corners ?
@@QuickBikes For their age, they're actually really sharp with a tweek .... Redo the fork oil...you can get a good one down here for about 2 grand (pds) .... Mind, my gsx1400 was an even better boogying beast... Maybe see if you can find one of them to project....but then they are such an enjoyable ride in their natural state.... Just muscle on tap when you need it...twist n go.
I was just going to bed when I spotted you'd uploaded.
Hehehe ... Sorry about that, but I'm still up too if that helps 😅😂🤣
It definitely sounded awesome on the Dyno.
It was MINT 😁👍😁👍😁👍
This old Tony does an excellent screw cutting video. I show it to my students.
That man is awesome... I love watching his videos 😁👍
@@QuickBikes we agree on that too.
