It's hard to even imagine Prime 4's reveal since it's been hidden for so long. I wouldn't know how to process it. Whatever form it takes, Nintendo has to be aiming to blow everyone away.

@@wadedewell It will. I don't expect it to be a game that changes the entire game industry or shakes the whole industry like Balders Gate 3, but I expect it to match the Prime trilogy and be a flawless fun game.

@@theterribleclaw4285 at this point I don't have any expectations to see it on the current switch. If it comes I will be happy, but if not, well if the game is better for that, it's ok. I just wish we would get prime 2 and 3 on the switch, even with only upscaled textures, so at least we would have the entire trilogy on the switch.

I wouldn't call Dread's placement random since each direct has a major game showcased in the middle being exclusively introduced outside of the "highlights."
I just meant it had a big segment somewhere in the middle. Random in the sense that there are multiple big segments outside of the the beginning and end lol

They always have two big announcements somewhere in the middle between headlines. As well as at the beginning and end.
I just hoping for either a release date and new trailer for Metroid Prime 4 or a HD Remaster of Metroid Prime 2 Echoes announced at this Direct, since I doubt will be seeing a Metroid 6 or Super Metroid remake anytime soon.
I've been wondering if part of the delay is they've been trying to finish porting/retouching Prime2/3 to release them either ahead of, or in conjunction with, Prime4. Been thinking about that more and more as we've not been hearing a single thing about it.

My ideal for the June Nintendo Direct:
We first find out that the presentation will be around 40 minutes long.
The show opens up with space…stars…some Metroid music! And as we’re thinking it’s MP4, Nintendo reveals that it’s Metroid Prime 2 and 3 HD (or Remastered versions).
Then we see a representative or two come out, saying that they know the fans are really looking forward to Metroid Prime 4, but that it will be shown at a later time.
The Nintendo Direct goes on, with some ports here, a few third party titles there, and right around the 37 minute mark, we go back into space!
We’re all hyped now, on the edge of our seats…but it’s a new Star Fox and it looks glorious! It’s not what we thought, again, but it’s confirmation that this beautiful SF title is the big, new holiday game for 2024.
That about wraps up the presentation, with Nintendo’s peeps saying thank you for watching, but then go on to say, “Didn’t we tell you that there was a certain something we were saving for a later time? Well that time is now. Enjoy…”
And boom, goosebumps, people…
METROID PRIME 4
A story based trailer with a small portion of gameplay shown, followed by: Spring, 2025
This would be amazing. This would hold us over until Nintendo shows off the Nintendo Switch 2, possibly this September, announcing that it’s coming out next March, with a full gameplay reveal of MP4 on that system and how it’s going to have two designated, simultaneous releases; one for NS and one for NS2.
Really excited for the direct - just to find out if it’ll be shown off or not.
Prime 4 is going to be a Game Changer.
I bet they'll show a release date that is like 2025 and then they'll be like: "Until then you can look forward to THIS." And then shadow drop Metroid Prime 2 remaster with a release date of Prime 3 remaster.
Or at least that's my pipe dream, but it will never happen because all they care about in regards to Metroid is their poster child Prime 1.

While the biggest Nintendo Direct in June is still on and still happening. I know other games that everyone wanna see on the biggest Nintendo Direct of June. But here's what I wanna see.
1. Super Mario 3D Land remake. Mario Kart X Ultimate.
2. New 2D Yoshi Island Game With 8 World Levels. New 2D Super Princess Daisy Game With 8 World Levels.
3. Donkey Kong Country Returns remake. New 2D Wario Land Game With Waluigi and with 8 world levels.
4. Kirby Air Ride Remake and F-Zero GX and AX remake.
5. Super Mario Maker 3. Luigi's Mansion 4.
6. Super Smash Bros 6. New Sonic Generations game.
7. Nintendo switch 2 console.

I will be very worried if there is radio silence on Metro/Android Prime the IV. It could happen that there is complete radio silence still but yowzers if that happens I think it would kill any hope or excitement for the game. The same way bayonetta 3 took forever and the wind out of the sails. Also possibly with silk song. I’ll play out but I’m not at all hyped for it anymore. So this is the finally opportunity for a game announced 7 years ago to generate excitement. Also it would hurt the game because silence creates higher expectations and speculation and that becomes toxic. Anyway, let’s hope for MP4 news.

You think Metroid Prime 4 will be open world?!
Not sure, vaster areas and perhaps the option to do some things out of order but i doubt it would be like Breath of the Wild. Maybe something like Dark Souls would be a better comp

That would be interesting. Hunters multiplayer was very good. Maybe an evolution of that could show up in Prime 4?

$70? I wish, Switch games have been $83 here in Canada since the Switch game out. Switch 2 games will be $93 like PS5 and XSX games.
@@420STnK_inc there was a rumor about a Zelda game starring princess Zelda so I'm thinking we hear something about that possibly but there's plenty of room for Metroid. There was also that rumor about Nintendo wanting Metroid marketing assets by May which may have been outdated and changed by now but it lines up perfectly with the June direct so I don't know. My heart can't take it anymore.
I am calling it right now. We are not going to see Metroid Prime 4 on this Direct.
Also, if Metroid Prime 4 comes out on the Switch holiday 2024, it is going to be about as good seller as Luigi's Mansion 3 (in terms of pace and retention). Of course, it will sell somewhat less because it will have way less time to sell compared to Luigi's Mansion 3.

The baby Metroid from Federation Force can’t be the next Metroid Prime because Metroid Prime and the planet got destroyed thereby destroying all Phazon in the Universe. And even if they did bring it back I don’t think they should bring back Metroid Prime and Phazon because we already got three games of that storyline and it came to a proper end. It would be very repetitive and tiresome if they did.
They will reveal Metroid Prime 4 as an NSO digital game only!
Well at least I won't have to spend any more money then haha
