Be honest, the first time you went through Metroid Prime, did you have any idea what was going on? I didn't. lol
CORRECTION: At the part why I mention our introduction to a young Samus, I say that shes from Star Colony “K21”, but its actually K2L. Lol… I might to invest in some glasses 😂
Great video and Dark Samus is as cool as the Fusion suit in Prime 1 maybe in a later DLC for the Switch version I hope.
As Prime (on GCN) was my introduction to the Metroid series, i had no idea what i was getting myself into. I just knew Samus was a women with a badass looking armor that hunted monsters (that's all my teen brain needed to know to want to try it). So going in i knew 2 things, kill everything hostile and uncover the mystery which the game made pretty obvious from the 1st 10 minutes. It turned me into an instant Simp for the series.
It was making me wonder if the Manga wrote it with a lower case "L" making it look like K-2l instead of K-2L.
Edit: ah yeah I see how that could be easily misread as K-21.
Small correction on the dating. The 10 year after Zero Mission part was never canon. Retro planned it but the cutscene mentioning it was never used. The Trilogy Artbook refers to the series taking place 3 years after ZM. That was however retconned aswell.
Samus Returns (website) stated that Metroid 2 takes place within a year of ZM. Metroid Prime Federation Force states that Phaaze exploded within a year after the Metroid discovery incident of 20X5.
Making Prime in current canon take place within a few weeks to a couple months after Zero Mission
I've been invested in the story since super metroid.
One small detail i liked was that the chozo lived in harmony with nature on tallon 4, when you scan certain objects it tells you they they were build carefully around the trees meaning they tried to build things without disturbing nature
The most satisfying part about Metroid prime series is when you find a key or lock somewhere and it has that satisfying jingle of making progress and the jingle when you found powerups.. Metroid is one of those where the fuck do I go games so it's fun when you are heading in the right direction
Just finished Metroid Prime Remastered last night and this video kinda puts everything into perspective.
thank you for making this clear, easy to follow video. metroid prime remastered was the first metroid game ive ever played and i just beat it the other day. i was a little disappointed with how the story was not very clear by the end. reading all the logs was just too much and id easily forget everything that was said in them. i wish i knew a little more about it as i was playing it but im glad now i have an understanding of it now
I still remember reading the log in the Phendrana pirate base that details Tallon IV is too far gone to be saved. Even if all the phazon was cleared out, the planet would die in 20 years. It hit me incredibly hard when I was a kid, it hits even harder now that I'm an adult. I have much more context of the game, all the history, all the life in Tallon IV, gone.
I just played this game for the first time this week, and completed it today.
I read most of the log, and the particular log you mentioned, I took it different.
1) The space pirates made that speculation without the true purpose of the chozo artifact barrier. They thought the barrier was to prevent anyone to go to the crater, which is true, but the real truth was to contain the phazon and prevent it from spreading throughout the planet Tallon IV.
2) The space pirates were just speculating. It's possible that the chozo artifact barrier can hold the phazon much longer. The chozo were hoping the barrier can hold out indefinitely, but being on Tallon IV was clearly showing that perhaps the barrier would not have been able to hold the phazon forever.
All in all, I do agree with you mostly. This was, I mean is, a great game.
The log actuallys says that _if nothing is done_ the planet will die in 25 or so years due to the radiation, Samus destroying the Impact Crater, the source of phazon on the planet, saves it.
There's even a log in Prime 3 detailing how the planet is making a steady recovery.
Thank you for making this I literally have played multiple Metroid games and had absolutely no idea what was going on, I had like a very general idea (Samus is hunting Ridley, chozo are a race of bird people who helped samus) but barely anything this makes playing the prime remake now so mcuh more enjoyable (which is already an awesome game to begin with) understnding why I’m actually doing what I am doing.
Nice refresher of Metroid Prime 1. Hope you're still planning on recapping Prime 2 and 3; I've played them all many years ago however it's nice to re-learn plot points.
The first time I played MP1 I did generally know what was going on. Though I admit to coming to a few misconceptions. As an example, when first playing MP1 on the GameCube I came to the conclusion that the ‘Great Poison’ was referring to the early game boss, Flaahgra. So for a time I thought I had dealt with the root (ha!) of the world’s problem early on, and the rest of the game was dealing with the aftermath of the damage Flaahgra inflicted. It wasn’t until I read the scan logs talking about something being sealed in the Impact Crater that I realized Flaahgra was a byproduct, not the source.
Mind you, MP1 does have a few things that are narratively at odds with the rest of the series. For instance, the other games typically say that Mother Brain is the leader of the pirates, but the Prime games reference a very vaguely defined ‘Pirate High Command’ in various Space Pirate log entries and it’s unclear where their authority sits compared to Mother Brain. Some of the logs in MP1 can be interpretably read to suggest that High Command is at least above Ridley who normally feels like Mother Brain’s second in command with nothing between them in the hierarchy.
High Command does not necessarily conflict with the mainline series, they could simply not have been mentioned due to a lack of scan terminals in the 2D games, and Ridley & Mother Brain could easily be part of High Command. High Command may have ordered Ridley's reconstruction, but that doesn't mean he was not among their ranks.
I always assumed high command may have coexisted with mother brain, and took over full governance after her destruction. After all, in Prime 3 we see pirate commandos, and other higher ranks in their military, one would assume they have some other form of hierarchy in their society
That's actually a really cool way to view the story during a first playthrough. You see all this text about a Great Poison that destroyed a civilization and feel so proud of yourself cause you already destroyed it... only to explore further and realize the true source of the Great Poison is very much still alive and much more sinister than it originally seemed.
I always assumed that Space Pirate High Command has always been around as soon as the Space Pirates were established during the early days of the Federation, and long before Mother Brain was accepted into their ranks.
Incredible video. I learned a bunch from this. This game is just so good
excellent summary! A lot of the Chozo lore went over my head when I played it so I needed this clarity. Even after playing Metroid games for years I didn't even know about the Manga, so I appreciate you doing this video!
Metroid Database has an English translation of the manga if you're interested. It's in the 'comics and manga' section.
((My post got auto-deleted before, guess RUclips hates folks being helpful))
@@ourfamilyaccount awesome, thanks for letting me know! Will definitely check it out!
How did the Metroid get to the crater? I always thought it was out there by the Pirates who arrived later, but if the Chozo referred to it as the Worm when they were still alive, was it them then?
In Corruption, on Phaaze there are exoskeletons of the Metroid Prime you fight in the first game embedded in the rock in of one of the chambers. I assume it came with the Leviathan seed when it was launched from Phaaze
i think i like the Chozo lore logbook: Hope ( Metroid prime gamecube Na release) [not canon]
{newborn is samus} "More and more, our tormented minds turn to the Newborn. As the world continues to shift into brutal, disconnected images, she remains inarguably real; a fearless figure delving deeper into this blighted world, unmindful of the terrors that await her. Was she this way before? When we Chozo found her, a fledgling orphaned on a savaged planet, did a warrior’s pulse already beat in her veins, filling her with righteous fury? Our hopes lie with her. We leave these messages for her, that she may find our Artifacts and deliver the world from its evils. Wraiths we may be, but our reach is still long indeed. We shall fight the invaders, and the Poison they would master, until the end."
This is why the Prime trilogy is AWESOME 👌 👏 😎 🙌 and the reason for Dark Samus. Too bad Kraid wasn't in Prime 1 also sadly the Impact Crater was ment to be a bigger area. Wait Phaze wanted to be a copy of every planet while taking over every planet fascinating 🤔.
Phaaze was essentially Ego the Celestial from Guardians of the Galaxy 2... yeah.
That old Prime 1 prototype Kraid render looked so awesome.
Kraid was removed from Prime 1
I always pretend Hive Queen is actually like related to Kraid or something as I play lol
My parents and brother & me loved this. We can't wait for the next one.
Amazing video with great explanations. Waiting for the videos on Prime 2 and 3 👍
It’s funny, when prime came out on switch that day bought it and played. It was my first time. As I was playing and reading the info I was telling myself, I missed something here. Finding and watching this video helped a lot. I haven’t finished the game but spoilers don’t bother me, it actually helps me with games only.
LOOOOOORE! Love the lore. Great video, can't wait for your other Prime ones! (When you said "K21", I literally paused the video, and was like "ah nah he didn't". But I see you mentioned the correction, lol.) 😇
Lmao. The manga is like a bazillion dollars online, so I had to read it on low quality images, and unfortunately thats the result 🤣 I know now though 👍
Looking forward to videos of the other 2 Metroid Prime games.
Thank you for making this video, I have never played the Metroid series but picked Prime up last week and felt I needed more background information after completing the game 👌🏼
Thanks! Yeah, I barely understood what was going on my first couple times through it 😂
I'm not the biggest metroid nerd but I've read all the log entries in prime one (I've also played dread), this video is great for those unfamiliar with the metroid universe or for noob like me
This is a great video, thank you for putting it together! I don't know the lore of the Metroid games AT ALL and have never played one but decided to try the Metroid Prime Remaster since I'd heard such great things about that game in particular. I'm enjoying the game so far, but I was completely lost on what was even happening! I now have a much clearer idea of what's going on now and appreciate you taking the time to lay all of this out from beginning to end in a clear and concise manner.
As an aside, I had no idea that the Metroid lore ran so deep. Or that there were so many games. Or that there were actually THREE prime games. I've definitely fallen down a rabbit hole now
This is fantastic. Hoping the popularity of the remastered prime also brings 2-3.
Great synopsis, I have not played Metroid since the SNES. It was nice to see the progression of the story.
My interpretation of Samus is a bit different, but man you nailed it 100% with Phazon and Prime 1 👏🏽 You also forgot to mention the Chozo were an elite warrior race who gave up those technologies to pursue spiritual enlightenment… well that would most likely be Thoha and not the Mawkin 😈 Loved your video and I subscribed! 😁
That’s the thing with Metroid games. They always keep you guessing.
Very good video, looking forward for the Metroid prime 2 and 3 explanation
I must say an exceptional good video
Keep the work up 🎉🎉
I consider Metroid Prime as a secondary series than just spinoffs. They’re huge subseries of the Metroid franchise, but still considered more than that as they’re vital entries overall.
I always view the Prime games as their side story that coexist with the mainline series, and hence why they take place between Metroid 1 and 2.
Great video! This helps a lot
Very nice and informative video for the newcomers to the series, would love you to cover the other prime games as well :D
Thats the plan 👍
If we had a game manual in the remastered version, all this background story would've been there as in the original release.
This was a fantastic explanation, thanks!!
A very very very good video! Ive become invested in the lore as of late and really have been enjoying this video and other lore-based videos. Pleeeeaasse make more of these (Prime 2,3 etc.).
You just earned yourself a sub bro. Keep up the great work!
played this for the first time with the remaster. Amazing game. they dont make em like they used to boys. Cant wait to play the next ones
Great video! The only minor correction I would suggest is Samus’ home is designated K2L, not K21. Otherwise, excellent stuff!!
Came to say this. Thank you.
Thank you! I put a correction in the pinned comment. I might have to invest in some glasses, because I really thought the Manga said K21, but you’re right 😂
I always thought of Prime series as the “prime” reason the federation decided to give Samus the go ahead to eradicate the Metroids. Honestly, with Dread ending the way it did, I hope this means we can get a look at some of the bounty missions she’s accepted before the events of Metroid 1
Maybe they can use the Metroid Manga as inspiration. That at least gives us some hints as to what Samus' missions were like before she returned to Zebes and what life in the Galactic Federation was like.
This was such a good video. I've watched (and listened to it) multiple times now. I hope you keep going with lore/story videos like this!
Thank you so much! I definitely will! I have a couple lore videos coming up, like the Metroid Manga Explained, and the Origin of the Metroids. When and if Metroid Prime 2 gets Remastered, I'll do a story video for that one as well.
Phazon seems extremely similar to tiberium, I wonder if the devs liked the idea from command and conquer?
This is exactly what I needed now that Prime 4 has been revealed
This is an amazing, thoroughly researched and entertaining video. Nice job!
Thank you! Means a lot :)
I remember doing a run years ago, in which I scanned everything.
Some Space Pirate logs (at Phazon Mines, I believe) mentioned Prime was a Metroid that went through tremendous controlled mutation & training, but then turned on them.
It was fitted with Trooper gear (explains its armor & weapons) & proceeded to further mutate via consuming Phazon at the impact site, changing the armor into an exoskeleton.
This is actually a difference between the original release where it was changed from this for the PAL release due to the plotholes it brought about due to the Metroid Prime being able to bypass the Chozo Barrier
Wow! This was DEEP!! Awesome! I’m new to the Prime series so I’ve been very excited to learn all I can about them since I started playing Remastered the day it dropped on the EShop 👍🏽
What a great video, I've loved this game my entire life but never understood the story on this deep of a level. How incredible to know I was collecting the 12 artifacts to enter the meteor, it's been so long. How you make more videos continuing Metroid's story!
Metroid has such amazing stories and lore its crazy how it's not on the level of zelda
AGREED
Great video! I wish they would clear up how the Metroid got inside the Leviathan. Most believe one was mutated by Phazon and phased through the lock and became Metroid Prime, while the Metroid Prime husks in MP3 seem to indicate it was the "worm" present all along. If so, then how did Metroids end up on Phaaze?
Lol. Very true. So much of this lore is really awesome, but a lot of it also a convoluted mess 😂
My personal theory is that Phazon cores can mutate differently based on genetic material they corrupt, and absorbing Metroid DNA caused it to become a Metroid in a way. I'd much rather view Prime as the same Worm that destroyed Tallon IV's civilization as opposed to another creature that took it's place, and that's the best way I can explain that being the case. It falls in line with "the chaotic nature of Phazon mutation", and doesn't feel impossible as Tallon IV's Leviathan is the only one we see fully imbedded in its planet.
@zeltroid So why did they even make this to begin with? It's almost like saying the Prime series have no reason to exist.
Excellent work! Loved the video
I was never a Metroid fan until I played Metroid Prime, so I had no clue what the hell I was doing or what was going on lol but I still had fun, thanks for this video
same here. i got prime when it released and it's still the only metroid game I've ever played
Same here, frankly not knowing anything and delving into the mines was quite the experience. This one is a cut above all other Metroid games
Great video, very useful information, thank you!
I’ve never played a Metroid game before I remember hearing about it when I was a kid but I plan on getting a switch oled and Metroid prime remastered soon
Damn it man that was a great video!!
But the big question unanswered : how could a metroid get into the impact crater (blocked by a barrier made by the Chozos) to eventually become the Metroid Prime?? And also, how could the Chozos know about the Worm even before the arrival of the space pirates (who brought the metroids in Tallon IV)?
Maybe the worm got its skeletal suit from a Metroid brought by the space pirates, and maybe before that it wasn't a "metroid" but more like a "phazon entity", and that's what the Chozos were describing. But yeah, good question, and potential plothole
Oh and another user commented: "Metroid Prime didn't come on the Phazon Seed, the Space Pirates brought Metroids to Talon IV and thru the ingestion off Phazon a Metroid evolved into Prime."
@@koopaniquebut what I don’t get is why only one Metroid becomes Metroid prime? And we see Metroid prime husks on planet phaze in prime 3?
Theres a lot of different theories out there as to the origin of the Metroid Prime. I gave my best understanding of Prime, but some would even challenge the idea of it being a Metroid altogether. The truth is, a lot of the specific details of the Prime Monster are unknown, and leaves us speculating… which kinda makes it even cooler imho 😂 Love it when theres mystery tied to a sci-fi monster
This is admittedly a plot hole that hasn't been fully revised well. Now, I don't fully recall the story so correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I recall, the original scripts for the NTSC and Japanese versions of the game stated that the Pirates indeed exposed a Metroid to the Phazon of the seed, and then it grew uncontrollably, even integrating their technology into itself, which is how it was originally explained it sharing the beam-coded gimmick that the Elite Pirates do.
However, it soon became apparent that that narrative didn't make sense, because that would need the Pirates to have access to the Impact Crater, which was sealed by the Chozo, and was their main objective in Tallon IV so they could mine the Phazon for their nefarious purposes. A paradox.
It was later retconned for the European versions of the game that the Metroid Prime came _with_ the Leviathan seed and the whole shebang happened without needing to tackle the whole headache. However, that _still_ didn't make complete sense, because we learn from Metroid II and Fusion that the Metroids as a species were designed and artificially created by the Chozo to combat the X Parasites in SR388, so how a Metroid got into Phaaze is anyone's guess.
However, this revision of the lore was kind of expanded upon in Corruption. They expanded upon the Seeds by explaining that they needed guardians to protect them while they did their job mutating the planet, and thus, it was retconned that the Metroid Prime was the guardian of Tallon IV's seed like Mogenar, Helios and Omega Ridley were for their respective planets in Corruption. They kept the narrative that Metroids were bred in Phaaze as well, which well, is kind of flimsy too, but a cool callback, as there's even husks of Metroid Prime's armored form around it.
At the end of the day though, Samus did what she does best and destroyed Phaaze, so there's no need to wonder how Metroids came into Phaaze.
Great video learned alot!
LOVE THIS!! Great job man!!
Wow! Great channel! Subbed.
Thank you! Glad to have you on board :)
I remember going into the Pirate research labs for the first time and just scanning everything out of curiosity and to see if it would open something so I could progress. I honestly don't know how some of it made it into a kid's game, Metroid can be horrifying at certain points and some of those pirate scans describing how they were testing Phazon on living creatures, how horribly mutated they were and how it drove many to insanity really puts into perspective how awful the Space Pirates really are.
How could the Prime series happen before Super Metroid because while in Super Metroid Ridley isn't a cyborg but in Prime he is
Love this. These are ny favorite games. Gamecube metroid prime is the best game ever made imo. Of course prime 2, prime3 and even prime hunters are on a similar level of excellence. I was quite annoyed we got federation force on 3ds and not a remake of DS prime hunters with more competent hardware and bigger areas
Very good bro. Love it. ❤️
So yeah, Samus is a Metroid then she destroys the universe, -the end 😂
This helps a lot!
Great video
2:04 Samus gains metroid dna at the end of Super Metroid.
How do you get to see the cutscene at the end with Dark Samus being created?
Need to complete the game at 100%
Prime takes place 10 years after NES Metroid? I had no idea, I always thought it was like 1 or 2 years later.
Great video, but bow I did spoil myself about metroid prime 3 plot haha
Wait a second. A sentient planet that sends out seeds of itself in attempt to make the entire universe in to a hive of itself. Looks like Marvel copied Nintendo’s homework.
Hey Zeltroid, this is kind of off topic but would you consider doing playthroughs again? I've watched your Mario 64 playthrough and currently watching your Zelda master quest playthrough and would like to watch more playthroughs, like Metroid Prime
Definitely! I play Metroid Prime and other games on my Twitch channel, but have been considering bringing more streaming over here. In the meantime, here’s the link to my twitch if you’re interested m.twitch.tv/zeltroidplays/home
@@zeltroid Cool, thanks man
Metroid Prime remastered is my favorite ❤
“What about those games” *points to other m, hunters, and federation force* “yeeaaaaaa we don’t talk about those…”
Already subscribed. More videos please😁😁😁
Absolutely!
Here after the Prime 4 trailer 😇
I’m up to the final boss now, he’s Heath was a baby bees dick away from dying and the little prick got me 😭
Just finished and 100% the Prime Remaster today. I'm so hyped for the other 2 games to be remastered as well. Take all my money Nintendo! Metroid is back baby!
Good video
Great video wow
Great video.
You told it so f awesome buddy 💪💪
Lost me at 2 minutes in but cool video. I'll get it someday. Just need to spend more time with the lore. I haven't ever focused on the lore in these games so much but with Dread and Remastered I have become more interested. As a kid I just liked the look and the gameplay. I still love the aesthetic and gameplay but am more curious about the story and appreciate lore more now as an adult.
Small correction: Samus' home colony was K-2L, not K-21.
Yeah, thanks! The correction has been in the pinned comment for a while. I only read the manga on online PDFs, so it looked like a 1, but clearly I was wrong 😑 🤦♂️
I've never played any prime games but I've played some 2d Metroids. Should I watch this video or play the prime game first?
Theres some slight spoilers in this vid, so honestly, I would enjoy the game then come back 👍
@@zeltroid thanks for the reply! My copy hasn't arrived but it's on its way. Will come back to the video once I'm done. Looking forward to it
Play the game first. This is full spoilers.
@@zeltroid light spoilers? You explain the whole thing lol
Thank you🙏
I was hoping this was gonna be more a Rebuild of Metroid. Metroid Prime 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone followed by Metroid Prime 2.22 Echoes: You Can (Not) Advance and then Metroid Prime 3.33 Corruption: You Can (Not) Redo and finally Metroid Prime 4: End Of Evangelion 😞 but... I am still happy with Prime Remake
AAAUUUUGGGGHHHH METROID IS SO FUCKING COOOOOOOOL
So I’m curious now I understand if in the original game on the GameCube, it’s not canon, but I felt I should ask just to get this off my chest. In the original game if you played the game, boy advanced Metroid fusion you could play through prime in the fusion suit. How does that work if it’s supposed to be canon?
Omg, what have I done to miss the full ending of the game? Was the Dark Samus thing after credits? Did I skip it by mistake?! It didnt happen in my game omg!
Its an after credits scene, BUT you have to collect 100% of the items in order to see it. You can probably still go back to that file, go collect everything, and then beat Metroid Prime again for the ending :)
@@zeltroid aaaahhh, thanks.
@@zenithquasar9623
I think there may be a couple of items that must be collected by a certain point. I could be wrong on that, however there is a missile expansion in Phendrana Drifts in one of the labs that you have to morphball along a narrow, winding platform just below the ceiling that is difficult enough to get first visit but if you wait too long when you return to the room, the power has been cut so now you must do it in the darkness which is way harder.
Is this the basketball dude???? Jonny arnet!?
Lol, yep! Same guy. You found my other hobby on this channel 😂👍
The one thing I fail to understand is if this was Metroid 1,5, why would Ridley be back to his "organic" self in Metroid III?
Ridley has regenerative abilities as Samus defeats Ridley on Tallon IV it recovers a lot during MP2 which is why it hasn't been seen in that game after
in MP3 Corruption that it recovered enough to fight Samus on Norion though the fight is short and it's more of a fall fight so Ridley didn't suffer much damage though somehow he made his way into the leviathan seed and took on the role of guardian but also allowed itself to be corrupted with Phazon and considering how Phazon greatly enhances the creatures natural abilities and gives it new ones Ridley was able to regenerate significantly faster which is why you don't see much of its armor except the one mainly on its chest but it's kinda damaged from previous battles but still even after its been defeated and the corruption gone from its body it has recovered more and threw away more of his cybernetics
He appears during Metroid Samus Returns and fights Samus again and the cutscene that follows shows Ridley letting go of the last pieces of its cybernetics so I assume Ridley had recovered fully since Super Metroid takes place directly afterwards and he's fully organic again
@@lugiamastero13 great, thanks. I never played MP2 and only a tiny bit of MP3 so that makes sense then. 🙂
Metroid 1: Samus goes back to highschool and shows-up her bullies.
Metroid Prime: Samus takes a vacation on her parent’s timeshare holiday home and finds that it’s become an illegal fracking site.
Metroid Prime 2: Samus finds out that the person running the illegal fracking operation jacked her style.
Metroid Prime 3: Samus shuts down the illegal fracking operation after tattling to the police and gets cancer.
Metroid 2: Samus plays the deadliest game of Pokémon Go and adopts a baby.
Super Metroid: Samus goes to her highschool reunion where her kid has fallen in with a bad crowd.
Metroid Other M: **doesn’t exist**
Metroid Fusion: Samus gets HIV and finds out her look is really trendy.
Metroid Dread: Samus’s Dad is an asshole.
I did have an understanding of the lore. BUT i skipped all of the scannable stuff in the game
So when we getting part two and 3?
Can you or someone else clarify something about the chronology that makes no sense to me. If the prime trilogy happens before super Metroid, why is Ridley a robot in Prime, meta Ridley, but then he’s back in Super Metroid without the meta title?
Okay but what happens when Ego the living planet and Phaazon end up on a single planet??
Midlife crisis? Lmao
Wait? Wasn’t prime taking place after snes super metroid? Since ridley is itself in super metroid, doesn’t that mean prime is where pirates try reanimate a dead ridley using mechanical parts?
No. Prime takes place after Zero Mission but before 2. In the game, there are logs explaining planet SR388 and Metroids still being alive.
As to why Ridley being him in flesh again is because ever since his defeat in the first game, Ridley got revived by mechanical and Space Pirate tech and throughout Prime 1 and Prime 3, Ridley is shown healing and needing less mechanical parts and by the time of Metroid 2, Ridley needed very little mechanical parts because his healing process was almost over
First time playing metroid prime ever
❤🎉
This is like nintendos version of halo
Samus did not know she had Mawkin* Chozo DNA in the Prime series, not Thoha
K-2L* not K21
Metroid Prime starts 3* years after Zebes, not 10 years. Although that might have been retconned to 3 months ever since Metroid 2 was remade.
These are minor details however. Solid video overall with all the major points covered. Good job! 👍🏻
I’d love to see a video where someone begins by saying “It’s a shit time to be a fan of the Metroid series…” and then they treat the rest of the video as if they said the opposite.
What? Metroid Prime isn't a separate timeline!
