The MOD don't work for me. A only got a AMIGADOS Shell with "Johnluke:" at screen. Still on FW 1.0 . What i'm doing wrong ? Thanks.
If you're still on FW1, maybe try re-extracting the files, overwriting those on the usb stick... Or using another stick?
@@TeamPandory Working now using another USB stick brand... Thank You for the tip.
My USB doesn't show up on my Mini. What does fat32 mbr mean I couldn't see it when I formatted my USB stick just fat32. I'm using a 16gig stick and my mini has not been updated.
Update after installing rufus and doing it that way it works thanks.
Use Rufus to format the usb stick.
@@NotsoHardcore1 oh. Okay. You got it 🙂
I noticed a firmware update came out today, does anyone know if this breaks Pandory?
UPDATE! DO NOT UPDATE FIRMWARE AS THIS BREAKS PANDORY TO THE AMIGA DOS SCREEN.
UPDATE 2! PANDORY STILL BROKEN ON FIRMWARE V1.1.1
Pinned.
@@TeamPandory apparently it's because the update breaks save files. retrogames working on a fix.
nah. They'll be trying to close holes in their system so we can't improve on it.
@@TeamPandory an update will be coming today apperently from retrogames to fix hdload save states.. im sure this will still break retroarch.. will not update and wait

Cool! Thanks :-)
Great job guys!

what do you think of ppsspp core, core for the dreamcast, ffmpeg core, fb alpha core, psx beetle, neo geo cd, nintendo ds core, mame 2003 core, mame 2003 plus, mame?
Thankyou for this.. will have to test 50hz by setting amiga into 50hz to see if it can run pal systems correctly
Hi Barry. We had one report of a user using 50hz who experienced audio stutter. For this release, it is advisable to set your console to 60hz and just let retroarch deal with the interpolation/frequency settings.
@@daveholloway185 No issues here.. set amiga to 50hz.. ran super probotector 50hz.. ran like butter..
Hey mate does all the games u add have to be in zip format? and does iha work on the hack for commodore amiga
I usually don't zip things, but the lha for Amiga games works fine.
Yeah got it sorta just having issues with Atari St ones
So to sum up, there is a fully working C64 emulator for The A500 Mini, right? It would be awesome if that device did both Amiga and C64. After all, C64C looked kinda like an Amiga.
Yes. That's correct.
When the Pandory screen loads up the background music is really slow for some reason..not sure what I did wrong
Probably because you're in 50hz. 60hz In the a500 screen should clean everything up a bit
Thank you 😊 I’ll give that a go!
It now works at 60hz so thanks again. Experiencing some crashing issues trying to load flappy bird for example - but I’ll play around with config
Hi, great work with this.
Is there a file format list for each system? (Will .chd files work for Sega CD or do they need to .bin and .cue files) And which folder do i put Sega CD roms into?
Any help greatly received.
The formats will be per core, which may change at any moment. Best checking the libretro info site to see what is supported.
We tried CHD and it didn't work, but that may have been because we used either an old corrupted file, or the A500 mini doesn't like compressed files too much. Remember it doesn't have too much memory, so it may be better with bin and cue.
@@TeamPandory Thanks for the information, i will check libretro for the file compatibility. I can see from your video that you have Sega CD games working - can you let me know which rom folder i should put my files in?
Thanks in advance
@@rachelmaddison3371 have a scan through the folders. It's fairly obvious which folder they go in, unless we forgot to add it.
If that's the case, let us know in the github and we'll see what we can do.
You can also manually add it if you wish
Great one !
To teraz będzie można uruchomić np.
whats the biggest size of usb key i can use
Amazing job well done...
Even PS1 games... how, thats awesome btw. I didnt think the specs on the A500 mini would be able to support this. Nice one.
Ah, ill try again soon, tried adding all nes games, all c64 games, 1 ps game. With a large selection of bios downloaded. Couldn't work out how to get anything working. Its all a bit too complicated for me. 😂
Has anyone figured out how to replace the background music with your own? Can't seem to find any .ogg or .wav files from the install.
We used an .xm file. Very light on system resources. Using a large wav, ogg or mp3 would have the music skip whenever you moved the cursor. Wasn't really ideal.
@@TeamPandory Thanks for answering. That makes perfect sense, but I guess that means there's no way I can change it? I see no .xm filetypes in any of the directories.
Sorry if I'm being the dunce kid in class but the whdload file included breaks being able to sideload lha files, yet Retroarch still works using the 'stock' whdload (from the WHDLoad Package). Is there any reason to use the one included in this release?
Does this work on a Mac?
Well this is a bit good isn't it? I will definitely be downloading this for my mini!
thanks but I don't see the covers, what can I do?
We've added a guide video on adding covers.
You should also be able to scrape the games using the tool from skraper.net (on your computer), then move over the thumbnails to your a500 mini stick.
Hello! Today they gave me the Mini A500 and I am not able to make Pandory or anything work...
I have followed the tutorial to copy everything to a FAT32 usb, the A500 recognizes it, but when I start it, only the screen to insert Amiga disk appears.
I have firmware version manhattan-1.0.1... What can I be doing wrong?
Thanks a lot!!
Pandory500 V2 needs firmware 1.1.1.
Oh no, after some months I tried to start pandory on stock firmware but now it’s asking for workbench 1.3 on launch. I have not updated or used usb stick, cannot understand what gone wrong. Or changed 🙁 was going to continue monkey island. Any ideas ?
Reextract that pandory_ol file from the zip to the usb stick. Overwrite that file.

Is there a PANDORA equivalent for the C64 Mini consoles?
... Pandory?
@@TeamPandory Maybe not Pandora but RetroArch?
Anything to emulate old consoles like Atari / NES / SNES / SMD / Gameboy on the C64 mini console. This console is underutilized compared to the Amiga A500 mini.
@TeamPandory Hi , I am on the original firmware and fortunately seen the warnings on RGL firmware updates. I can see why maybe they don’t want a one box does all solution as it may put people off collecting all the current minis now and going forward. However my question is … if Pandory is will only run on the original A500 mini Firmware .. will you continue to develop and support Pandory ? I would think that the firmware on newer boxes may be updated 😢
I'll bet you a Strawberry Cornetto ...That in a years time, the *official* firmware STILL won't be up to the same level. Give us a few weeks to do our magic. - Or you could update your firmware for ... ADF. 😆
@@TeamPandory Thanks for that, I suspect they have already manufactured a large Batch A that will take some time to sell out with the original FW but with projects like Pandory , the A500 mini becomes a more appealing proposition for those who like their PI's with a more retro flavour. I have no intention of upgrading the FW for the sake of it as I see no benefits to me if Pandory opens up a whole new set of features and doesn't affect the base FW. Keep up the magic and ill check in next May to see if I can cash in on that Strawberry Cornetto ;-)
@@TheB1gduk If you're a Mint Cornetto guy, they're available too.
I see the Pi and these minis in a different bracket. It's a shame that many tend to do a VS against one another. I look at the mini, I see my childhood.. When I look at the Pi I see a circuit board.
@@TeamPandory You are so right. Trying to apply logic when its the nostalgic and emotional pull of getting a slice of my childhood back, I loved my Amiga and the form factor alone would have me hanging it on the wall one day maybe. I have run Emulators for years on my PC and on a Cyclone Mini PC etc however, there is something about one button power on and within moments no faffing about, you are in there and reliving some of those old memories. BloodMoney Soundtrack - YAY !!
@@TheB1gduk one thing these guys are forgetting ...is the whole cost, and then add up how much it'd cost for a case that looks as good as this... Then add the licensing costs
I'm assuming i probably missed something obvious... but how do you save states using a controller?
Hold start to get to the RetroArch screen and scroll down to save state. Might depend on the emulator though- We should be able to set it to a hotkey using RetroArch if need-be though.
@@TeamPandory Thanks!
Hi. I did as in your video, but when I start the pandory.lha it only opens a CLI workbench screen and that is it. Any suggestion? Thanks
Did you update the a500mini ?
@@TeamPandory Yes, to 1.1.1
@@harvey42 then you're going to have to wait for us to find another way in... Or complain on RGL's boards.

Hi, how do you associate game cover photos? Thank you
Please have a look in the thumbnail amiga folders... It should give you an idea. Basically you need to have the same folder and file names and it should work automatically
Will there be a new Version coming out soon?
The sound is really distorted when I play games via Pandory,is there a simple fix? Tried changing their audio drivers but made no obvious difference?
Which games ? Did you change the Hz in the a500 settings screen to 60hz?
@@TeamPandory ahhh that was it, I had system set to 50hz!! A simple changeover and now all is great 👍. Superb work very much appreciated.
Make sure you a500 is in 60hz for ntsc games.. for PAL games make sure your a500 is in 50hz and your retroarch core is set to PAL and using a PAL game
@TeamPandory so tried this out earlier. I overwrote usb folders with Pandory zip contents and then the games I had in a500 folder would just return to carrousel and not load. So this time I left the a500 alone and only copied the pandory folder. This sorted the original a500 folder games. In both configurations flappy birds just locks up on load. Also, is there a way to return to stock carrousel menu and quit pandory on a keyboard / controller ? Is there a users guide or FAQ that might answer some of my NOOB questions ?
So missed the return to a500 menu in vid, sorry.
Will the Duckstation core work in this build?
It's likely that duckstation won't run too well but we can always give it a go
hi, will there be an update in the future so updated devices willl be able to load the pandory mod?

Same here. With missing files too. No idea what to do. Apparently the system upgrade breaks pandory.
@@jimmypage9283 apparently it's because the update breaks save files. retrogames working on a fix.

Could be. Go to the settings on the a500mini and check the firmware version from in that menu.
hi the rufus program must be bios I have iso to format the usb key? 128 giga maybe not good
Fat32 has it's limits, and 128gb is... Far larger than regular fat32 formatting allows.
Rufus may be able to format it to fat32 using MBR... If it can't, you may need to use a smaller 64gb disk
