VRC+ as a rank boost only makes sense if you are a visitor in order to get the New User Rank or if you are a new user and want to quickly reach the User Rank. If you already have the User Rank, the boost is of no use to you, you still need your 150+ hours to become a Known User. The speedrun, if you like, is more about getting active hours, uploading avatars and/or worlds that are public and simply having a bunch of friends on the list. But you still get a few nice extras if the few extras are worth the monthly or annual cost.
