@@darkprince8617 I have the same issue with single player PS5. Crashes randomly and rolls back. There were a couple of 2-3 week periods since launch where it was pretty stable, but it's unplayable now. I don't understand why single player has issues but the online side of console seemingly doesn't, but I think we had similar issues with ASE on PS4 single player.
60fps feels so laggy an its shit that they made that the bar to cater to x box an ps. Its bs an holds back most pc.

My old eyes grew up with the Hollywood standard 24 FPS, so if I hit 30 on any game, I'm ok.

honestly I doubt it, a lot of people buy it anyway so. I mean how much shit updates and game bugs, scandals and just cash grabs have happened since ASA released and people still give them money.
As good as Red Dead Redemption looks, and functions on PS5 I know that Ark could be better.

Us poor folks will only be able to run evolved, if they don't take that away from us too, that is. Hand-me-downs used-up by everyone else. Ain't it great? I wasn't having any issues on my Xbox s except the occasional game crash, until two weeks ago, now it's totally unplayable, game won't save and crashes every time it tries to, I think I fix the save issue, it works for an hour and then it starts all over again

This resolution cut was already known long before the analysis carried out by Digital Foundry. It is more than evident that to obtain something similar to the performance on PC, WC had to make that resolution cut and then modify the quality of the textures and polygons to try to reach those hypothetical 60 fps and thus minimally place in conditions similar to the performance on PC. Did they do it? Obviously NOT.
Regarding your proposal of wanting better performance and optimization, at the cost of losing details in textures, object morphologies and climatic aspects, it is another obvious one. We would sacrifice everything so that the game does not look so pretty, but that it does have optimal performance and without errors.
I am new to gaming and ASE was the game I started playing and absolutely fell in love with it. I am not computer savvy and it makes me frustrated and sad that I can't play ASA.
Today i wanted to start my game..... on ps5 with a Nitrado server.
All my save games were gone...
Backups, gone.
Breeded (on colour and stats) animals gone.
All bases, (took me 3 months) gone....
Im trying to keep my head cool, but....... its an expensive server to rent, so i'm quite upset!!!

@@hmullenberg that sucks. We're having the usual transfer bugs ATM, players losing inventory, Obelisks not working (red on the island) luckily we can replace most stuff when it happens. It's just frustrating 🤣

I have Ark Ascended on PC and on PS5, console is buggy but PC doesn’t run well for me AT ALL. Console is significantly better for me…. I’m hoping the engine upgrade makes it smoother on console. I’ve given up completely on PC. The people able to run it must spend 10k on their computers :/

I have a Xbox series s and I play it and it’s actually great the fps is usually around 45 or 50 and the quality of graphics I’d say is around 800 or a little higher
It's a shame because the game itself has always had massive potential. The idea of ark is truly amazing even if you don't want the toxic pvp. Maybe the idea is bigger than the tec they have.
i played on series S and its very janky and grainy and over luminated and sometimes blurry.
I actually had lot of fun with ark ascended when it launched but i agree that it's unacceptable that you need 2000€ pc to run it

ASA is better than ASE in so many ways I would struggle to list them all. If it doesn't run well for you. I am sorry but it runs pretty okay for me and I am happy with it.

I literally bought a PC last month (4070 Ti Super) because I was trying to play ASA on my Series S and found it UNPLAYABLE. I realized how desperately I was going to need a PC if games were going to be that bad
Same, I bought a 4090 over Christmas just for Ascended, it’s sad you need these beefy ass rigs, but once you get one that can run it, the game truly is spectacular (imo)

I don't know why I'm real running the game perfectly fine. And honestly, I just wanted to make this comment, not for saying you need to get guys upgrade. No, I'm mainly doing saying this. I don't care about if I was lagging or having bad performance. I will play it because I get to play with my friends from cross. Gin, I don't have any pc friends. All my friends are on Police station. So that is one reason why I would rather play this arc with any issues I ever faced. I haven't faced them. I keep reading about issues. I mean, I got so scared I bought g force now. The ultimate here. Because I got scared that I didn't couldn't run the game but I was running the game perfectly fine and I'm an rtx. 2030, and it's running the game.

They keep ading paid things like the power rangers (Again i am fine with a DLC creature but 5 bucks per creature and on every non cannon map....) My house and all the players on our rented server in cluster, all on Xbox x. Well. It’s very good. Frames are seriously overrated, you want 60, must be nice, I like being able to play. Crashing is the worst. Downtime is the worst. PC players are screwed right now, the best stuff doesn’t work, and the worst stuff doesn’t work, it’s a mixture and settings. Our play is smooth, doable, and playable. Even in caves with all Xbox x stuff in rented server. Optimizing will always help
I know you shouldnt have to but on my 600 dollar pc I can get 100 fps on low by turning off fog and clouds, shadows per my prefrence

to me the game looks like you need over 8gb of vram to play it on all low i use 7.9 gb and thats with some config changes with shadows full off not on low just off on my 3070 so it looks like to run high your gonna need a card thats in the $1200 price range its terrible really since you could run evolved with a pc worth 200 bucks
Man, I've been playing arch since the very beginning.Heaven played online with other people in a while.Cause I kind of gave up on that I kinda play by myself but I'm looking forward to the upgrade.I can't wait to see what it does
the game runs good now on consoles just not series’s S ur not helping nothing and just spreading negativity. About a month ago the game wasn’t playable on console but now it is. Without changing settings they are trying to optimize the game and they are. It’s sad to see pc bros series S have so many problems with the game but I personally have none with my console on ark. Generally speaking the game does has its problems but they are working on it
look ive got to be honest it annoys me that all I hear is people complain about the frame rate on games this is in no way of my trying to attack you dom but with ark its just not the main issue this game just doesn't work as intended not only do I download to fix the game but I can't believe this game has been out for 8 months and online servers don't work if I go on a pve server the entire map has been claimed by one person or I go play pvp and notes are built on and cant be opened and cheating is rampant.
Its a online multi-player survival game yet people pretty much only play it on their own I play on ps5 and clocked a good 600 hours on it I don't notice graphic issues most of the time but the game its self is broken optimization isn't going to fix this.
It can be the computer is not working will on ark ascended. Have to upgrade they computer. Ark ascended it mind blowing to me. i love all the hard work they put into at. it not cheap to make a mind blowing game. we have to buy something to they can make more things for all ark games or more games like ark. it my input about it.

I have to say i have never problems with lag or ceashing myself on asa on ase i had it often the bleuscreen and stuff i do have a top pc tho but for me it always runs smooth only in beginning on island i had some issues .

I personally was a massive fan of Ark I brought all dlcs for ASE and then went to ASA as soon as it come out..I brought bobs tale on asa to and played the latest maps and done the bosses..A couple weeks I deleted it off my pc for the first time ever

While I can understand people not being happy with the state of the game, however I also feel that they are also looking at this in a vacuum. If you look at most of the other games that are as immersive as ASA running off of UAE 5 they are having the same issues. This should and I stress should make people realize that it is not solely a Ark optimization issue, then taking into account that there is an update to UAE5 to allow for better optimization coming soon they blame for the optimization issue should be shared. Both teams could do better.
I'm running 71 mods in my center server on epic settings on ps5 and have little to no issues. This video is bullshit.
I'm running PS5 vanilla single player, no mods, and it crashes constantly and is unplayable. The player experience is wildly inconsistent.

Graphics aren’t a big thing I look for in a game, as long as the gameplay and longevity are there I’m hooked. I still play an old rts from my childhood and it graphics don’t bother me one bit

ASA is the biggest game scam I’ve ever encountered. A remasked ASE that we had to repurchase that now is going into PTW. There’s no way pvp will ever be fair or fun knowing someone can just buy a Dino someone else can’t at the time
Nah. There are alot of games that did it too, like dragon dogma 2, starfield and cyberpunk. All these games run like shit and are pure scam too when they launched. People like to hate Ark for sport and forget all the industry is doing shit with their games too.

Rtx 4080s having a problem, I’m running a 3090 with a 5950x and 64gbs of ram and constantly errors messages about not enough memory or vram issues. Wildcard just needs to re-optimize the whole game.

Game runs at epic 1440p with dlss and frame gen turned on. I average around 80-100 fps.

You always have to do maintenance on your pc and regularly check how hot it runs, how it performs etc.
If your pc overheats overtime it will slowly damage your other parts. I do checks almost every week to check if it runs as it should.

After spending around 3 or 4 days with them, I can say, I’m not getting any huge advantages for 6 bucks I’ll be honest lol 😂 even the QOL aspects of the pyro dlc are limited. But as a cosmetic shoulder pet, yeah it’s cool and rare and probably worth 6 bucks for the effects

I play on series x and pc... i have very little issues, idk what yall are doing?
On the Series S, it is fine, but sometimes it can be a bit janky at times. I don't run epic, but I do run high. There are crashes in extremely low fps areas. Scorched Earth runs fine. I haven't gone to The Center yet.

The game is bad I just went on center map there is no dino's the maps are the same there are no great changes between each so far lousy frame rates and lots of crashes I am about put the game shelf . No the game is far far away for it to be good .

The problem with ark PC players PC players always cry about something. Always have a demand about something because their imagination is bigger than what the world technology is I don't know why other people are having issues that are on PS5 or Xbox but I know I owned Xbox. My friend owns a PlayStation 5 and we both can play the game without any issues other than when it wants to crash due to a mod that I should not be installing. All I can say is quit listening to the haters. Play your game. Love your game. Don't let other people change your mind

But I don't think that makes a difference? My game also runs on HDR... so. Not sure who's has problems. But sounds like a skill issue 😂

6:14 no im on ps5 and on spawn (south 1) im greeted with 45-60 fps
Yeah I have both ps5 and pc and my ps5 runs good fps after I take out the clouds and fog. The pc lags more then the ps5. I have a mid range pc but still stronger than the ps5 in memory and graphics.They full of Sh!t

PS5 single player crashes constantly and is unplayable. Fighting bosses isn't even possible, it crashes when it tries to teleport to the arena. Glad you're having fun, I just would like to share that experience.

My new pc has a 4070 in it and in the graphics settings it says you need at least a 4070 or higher to run on epic settings but when I do it runs fine until I get on a mount and start moving fast then it crashes 🤷♀️

I play on xbox series S and have my fps number always on, and under normal cases I run 50-80fps with the optimized settings, and I only crash when transfering maps sometimes
My PC is now 5 years old whit a 2070 Nvidia and got np running the game so no clue why people say it's running bad it does eat a shit load of ramm more then it says it should but if you got 32 gig your fine to play maxed out
Runs neer perfectly on the series S and X, me and my brother use both wirh 0 issues. I belive its a pc orientated issue hopefully the next patch fixes or improves this for you

yes ark has its struggles performance wise but people are extremely dramatic with it. If you literally turn off clouds and fog, then your frame rate goes up by 20. There are many more things you can do to optimize your performance. The problem is people are trying to play this game with a bare minimum console/pc, while trying to run max settings
