You are so Amazing to put this video together to help so many of us that have done this. I purchased my printer 7 months ago, I opened the box, set the printer on the table, then took the ink that came with in and placed it in the tool cabinet. There it sat for 7 months until tonight. Tonight was the night I was going to learn how to do sublimation. I removed the tape from the printer and realized I didn't ever plug it in, so I had to find the cord, boom found it and the ink. So off I go being so proud as I watched a video on making sure to put in the correct ink in the correct spot. Boom put in the black ink, so easy, then I went in for the yellow ink. Before putting in my 3rd full bottle I stopped and looked into my drawer labeled sublimation, when I opened the drawer and saw that Cosmo ink, I was suddenly sick and panic set in. How in the world did I just do that, all that boom lol went out the window. I should have thrown out that ink when I opened it 7 months ago. I had forgot I kept it !!!!!!! I thought that was the sublimation ink NOT. Anyway my first sublimation experience will be learning how to remove incorrect ink. If the stores were open now I would attempt to start the process, but I will have to wait till tomorrow. THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO, YOU ROCK!!!!!!!

Turns out mine was a we bit more trickier since I have the 2760 however, I used your same concept with the syringe and bam!! Your girl is in there... Lol

I did the same thing, but am having trouble getting the ink to the ink head so we can’t get it to print. The printer won’t give me the option to charge it like you do when you first turn it on😳

Thank U so much... U obviouslE pay attention to detail. That syringe part was unnecessarE btw, U can skip it, & jus pull the ink from the bottom of the damper. Thanks, I successfully switched my inks too on my et2720 but using your "purge technique" on your other video. I do not need to mess with those hoses. I just inserted the syringe directly to the cartridge bottom and I tried to suck as much ink clean as I can. I saved and cleaned my original ink bottles and filled it with the replacement ink and made it so much easier. I did not use a cleaner nor make a nozzle cleaning. I just printed a purge color table file (4 colors) about 10-15 times. It just printed and worked with no stripes or problem with the prints. The day before I switched, I printed about 15 times of dye ink to clean the heads even set it to matte high...
That's awesome, i now call ur way "the smart way" i don't even waste time with the hoses anEmore. I shuld probablE do a follow up video now that i kno better 😅

i been having issues for a week now changing printer setting , blaming my cutting software etc and then i find this video and i did exactly that i assumed the ink that came would be fine for the sublimation process, all prints were coming out faded or white so now i know and would like to say thanks so much, hopefully i can clean it out ok

@@ashleywilson5673 U can, jus be sure U got as much black out as humanlE possible. Also... wen U get that sub ink N, be sure to print the purge file quite a bit to ensure no regular ink remains! @@nobodEbiz did not work unfortunately. Mine said I had a paper jam the SECOND time I turned it on. Those cords were unplugged. Wish you could reset the whole machine somehow.

@@joriiivelisse828 i used a kids medicine syringe and some fuel line tubing from a weed wacker i had laying around and syphoned out most of what i could. Then i filled the syringe with clean clear water and flooded the tank from the spot i syphoned out of. Did that a few times flushing out all the cyan. When the water is barely blue then you are good to go. :)
Brilliant video mate! May I suggest using the teeny connectors that come with ciss kits to make the connection to the syringe (the little elbow connectors that connect the tube to the cartridge). I know this is probably a one time operation but it might help someone who has such bits & pieces lying around. I have & that's how I'll do it.
If you have followed everything he's done and still printing blank papers, 1. Go to control panel, find your printer, click right go to properties you'll find all the methods to deep clean your printer but make sure enough ink is in it....after print noozle and you should be able to print again...and it will cause the ink to flow again.. This worked for me...working perfect.
I just bought the 2720 printer. Planning on getting your Sub ink...this is the second printer i will try will sub ink, the first time the ink wasnt sub and i just gave away the printer. Hope your ink is at Advertise. Thanks.
I make cakes you just saved my life because the only edible ink I had was in the printer that was broken thanks because I was trying to extract it with a syringe and all the ones I had were to damn big to fit in the hole so when I saw this I went to shoprite brought a meat flavor injector and went to work sucking out all of my expensive cake ink thanks

I switched both of my epson printer's to sublimation one epson et4700 and wf7720 and I thought I had sub ink and it was regular I did run 2 pages each on each printer what's the best solution to get the regular ink out. Thanks in advance!
I have an Epson 2760 and I put the ink that it came with into the cartridges. How can I flush it out? I don't see the screws under the screen like you have it on your video
I tried this hack If you have an Epson 2710 printer and you want to change it to sublimation ink put the bottle in as you put it and turn the printer upside down and the ink comes out it worked for me and my printer is perfectly fine and no damages. It’s better than doing all this complicated thing with syringe
Is it necessary to do this if I want to change out my sublimation ink. I started with the EP Sublimation ink but would like to change to the Cosmos ink. I have a Epson EcoTank ET-2760.
I"m trying this on the ET 15000 which seems to run the same, except for a part that needs to be loosened to get to the cartridges, however, the suction is so high that I'm not able to pull ink out with the syringe. Did you have this problem and what do you suggest? I've tried both the hose and the place on the back of the cartridge.

U can, wen it's about gon & U go to add sub ink, be sure to print quite a few purge files for a successful switch! Wen it gets good & dull, it's sub ink

Then i filled the syringe with clean clear water and flooded the tank from the spot i syphoned out of. Did that a few times flushing out all the cyan. When the water is barely blue then you are good to go. :)

Brilliant video mate! May I suggest using the teeny connectors that come with ciss kits to make the connection to the syringe (the little elbow connectors that connect the tube to the cartridge). I know this is probably a one time operation but it might help someone who has such bits & pieces lying around. I have & that's how I'll do it.

If you have followed everything he's done and still printing blank papers, 1. Go to control panel, find your printer, click right go to properties you'll find all the methods to deep clean your printer but make sure enough ink is in it....after print noozle and you should be able to print again...and it will cause the ink to flow again.. This worked for me...working perfect.

I make cakes you just saved my life because the only edible ink I had was in the printer that was broken thanks because I was trying to extract it with a syringe and all the ones I had were to damn big to fit in the hole so when I saw this I went to shoprite brought a meat flavor injector and went to work sucking out all of my expensive cake ink thanks

I switched both of my epson printer's to sublimation one epson et4700 and wf7720 and I thought I had sub ink and it was regular I did run 2 pages each on each printer what's the best solution to get the regular ink out. Thanks in advance!

I tried this hack If you have an Epson 2710 printer and you want to change it to sublimation ink put the bottle in as you put it and turn the printer upside down and the ink comes out it worked for me and my printer is perfectly fine and no damages. It’s better than doing all this complicated thing with syringe

Is it necessary to do this if I want to change out my sublimation ink. I started with the EP Sublimation ink but would like to change to the Cosmos ink. I have a Epson EcoTank ET-2760.
Can't speak for other ink brands... but i never recommend mix'N inks bcuz results may varE

Great video. I have the ET-2800 and cant get the cartridge out. Do you know how?
I"m trying this on the ET 15000 which seems to run the same, except for a part that needs to be loosened to get to the cartridges, however, the suction is so high that I'm not able to pull ink out with the syringe. Did you have this problem and what do you suggest? I've tried both the hose and the place on the back of the cartridge.

I always recommend cleaner, but i don't think that little bit of cross contamination will hurt that much
