I’m not a very religious person (atheist/agnostic) but from watching you over the years I have began to think more about God and what I can try and let him do in my life instead of trying to run my life without a guide…I’m with you on the feeling too comfortable and stuck but not knowing how to change my life and how to know I’m on track to achieve the things in life I know that I want in life and what I’d hope God would want for me… this last year I began praying occasionally and journaling to God and I can see how it could be helpful if I did it more often so that’s one way I’m trying improve my life. ❤ I love your openness and honesty and your passion to teach and love others this is something I sometimes struggle with but work everyday to improve on.
It's awesome that you want to make this big change for your life. If you have someone in your life that is a Christian that you can reach out to, to ask questions to that might be helpful. I pray you have that person in your life and if you don't just let me know and I'll do my best!

Get out of your comfort zone and quit hiding in your car and take God to the streets! Really think about it, I love you too! I would love to see you out there! QUIT HIDING! I'M not being mean but you're in this rut bc you hide in your car, to be truly open get out of your car and talk to people and spread the word!!🥀 You will truly feel open!! PS not being mean😁🥀🎉
For me, being "still" helps me find my true usefulness. My daily prayer is a simple one, "God use me today". I think you ARE doing exactly what God wants you to do. Your bravery for putting yourself out there, as a christian, God will use!

Is comet helpful! To see you in tour real feelings is so relatable. It makes sense you are a little stressed because although this is good for you it is not necessarily easy! It's a great first step that you realize you need help and that you are willing to do what it takes. Keep moving forward, but you have done so much more that many would do living in tour car, traveling, living in different area etc. So keep moving but don't beat yourself up.

I really needed to hear this this morning. I had an emotionally neglectful/bordline abusive childhood so sometimes I feel that I'm "haunted" by words said in the past. Even at 50, I still wrestle with that.
So true for me, I can’t seem to put my past behind me. I dislike when I hear “your past doesn’t define you” well, it sure seems to! 😊
@@janisg7409 We are the sum total of everything we've experienced, both good and bad. We can share good and bad memories with others, the smiles and tears and just get through another day by thinking of anything that's nice about the day. Today's simple blessings are, I played board games with my son, just to enjoy his company and enjoyed Katie's video talking about her methods of dealing with her self management. I relate to how hard it is.
It is SO HARD. These horrible things have affected us all in a real way. But I just hope that we can realize that humans are sinners, and defining ourselves by their actions isn’t what God wants us to do. He wants us to define ourselves as His children. Who He created on purpose and who He loves so much. So it’s a long and tough process of unlearning certain things in our brain, especially if they were reinforced through trauma over a long period of time… And replacing that with the truth of the Bible. It’s so hard, but I believe in you. You are AMAZING. And I know it feels like the abuse defines you. I truly understand that. And I understand that it is a part of you. But, really, God’s love truly defines you. ❤️

Been working on goals for myself to make the changes necessary for myself. I have always put everyone else ahead of myself.

We love you too Katie! I have to write the same things down and discuss it with my therapist Monday. It’s so hard for me. I can do the negative but it’s hard to find the positive. It’s so hard to change these thoughts but I’m having faith I can do it and I’m not going to give it a timeline because that’s too much pressure. We can’t get upset if we don’t accomplish it when we think we should. As long as we are actively trying and working towards it. Don’t give up!

One thing that has helped me with mental illness or health problems in general, I stopped saying stuff like "I have anxiety" "I have depression" " " I have pcos" and instead would say "I HAD...." and God has healed me from it. Speaking over that helped me believe it more and took the focus off the pain on the praise on him for doing that thing. Because he wants us to live a full life but we need the faith and we need to want it

What you were saying about process reminded me of a line from my favorite song writer, "This painting never dries." I think what you're doing showing the steps between A and Z is so important. And I thank you for your honesty and insight. Your emotion in this video is sometimes visceral, specifically your gratitude coming through, and despite the intensity you're able to carry on and make concise points that all build to a conclusion, which is just a testament to your passion and creativity. I've felt lost most of my life, and one thing I'll say, which I think is in accordance with your message, is that despite the brokenness we feel, there is always in each and every one of us a piece of God that is whole at our core. We can't shake it no matter what we do. Our hope is to expand it of course and let it guide us so that we can fully recognize it for ourselves.
And this is just a side note: if you're looking into maybe starting a new job (forgive me, I get excited about things) have you considered becoming a notary public? That's what I've started doing, and the state I'm in doesn't allow remote online notarizations, but Florida does, and from what I can tell the application process is more lenient there too. It might be an easy way to get some extra cash that wouldn't require you to have a 9 to 5, so RUclips could still be prominent in your life. Just a thought! Best, Irene.

Help me Lord articulate❤ you sre smart, educated, articulate, gifted, a loving heart, encourager, well versed, Faithful, a great psychologist, you are challenging, etc. You would be great at speaking, ministry, teaching, Missionary, Pastor's Wife....you have challenged this 82 1/2 yo with lots of health issues to quit making excuses because I am in pain, or I'm tired, think. I'll just lay here a little longer. I'm starting a list tomorrow. God is receiving so much Glory on your channel because of your witness. This guy I used to think I loved and was supposed to be with many years ago asked me if my heart had ever lied to me. Stopped me in my tracks. Also the devil is constantly trying to mislead us. He is a liar and the arbiter of chaos and confusion.
I have struggled in the past with trying to be more of what I think God wanted me to be. But what I found out from that journey is that I needed to lean into the human experience. We are not perfect, we are sometimes mean to ourselves and others, life is just messy, and we are all still loved and in the same human experience. Forgive yourself and let go. Remember it is ok to fail, to be imperfect and to be human. Collectively we are changing whether we want to or not. Brush off our failures and move on and try to find joy and happiness. Money is needed by all of us but how much do we really need?
This was me 2 years ago. I was in such deep despair I was contemplating self deletion. I felt completely alone with no future. You do have to take drastic steps sometimes, in my case I moved back to my home state so I could be in a familiar place. I am doing much better now and am going to be married this year. I would never want anyone to feel like I did 2 years ago. Wishing you all the best Katie, I know you feel this way because God is pushing you to begin a completely different life. Keep pushing and never give up, you will accomplish your goals!

God has nothing whatsoever to do with it. Feel the spirit and power of nature and forget manmade religion. Going with the flow, is similar to, feel the force. Go with it and stop thinking about God. Jesus wants us to bring our burdens to Him. I have trouble with this sometimes and think maybe I can solve some things, but I know deep down I can't. Jesus said in Matthew 11: 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Lots of positive thoughts and prayers going out for you Katie. i dont think we are supposed to be constantly measuring what we are and what we do up against what we think god wants for us... almost like we are on a leash and keep looking back to make sure we aren't nearing the end of its length. the subconscious reveals all... what you do and who you are in an instant.. how you react, without thinking and planning about what to do/say what you think might appear to be best (basically being fake)

So you say to not only trust one source bc it’ll probably confirm your own brain, but you follow one book written and translated multiple times? And you call that fact? Believe what you want, but how do you call the bible as the only thing that is fact?
I think listening to multiple points of view is very helpful in many ways. Being on this earth means that I hear SEVERAL voices that are the exact opposite of God (the media, society, other people, etc). So, in fact, all Christians DO hear multiple points of view. And I choose to believe God over anything else.
I could talk about this for hours actually because it is a fascinating topic. But also, another thing is that the Bible was written by dozens of different people. So we are actually getting accounts from not just “one book,” but around 40 different people! Which is awesome! And lots of other proof that Jesus was alive and died and rose again. And the different translations don’t disprove God. Please feel free to ask any other questions. This is an interesting topic!
Katie have you thought about counseling others, or being a minister? You’re so passionate with your faith, and you’re very encouraging, kind and understanding, maybe by doing this, you can help others, as well as yourself ❤❤❤

@@jordanblue5630I am. Life Coaching is not therapy. It works with people where they are and helps them form goals to be get where they want to go. Also keeps them accountable to someone.
