The anti cheat is not very accurate tbf my friend got banned 2 wipes ago because he had red dead open he plays rd2 modded servers like rp and stuff and they banned him because of the rd2 mods lol
Why ban a streamer (with plausable deniability) that brings in alot of new players? No instead ban him to discourage the people who would have been attracted to the game and decrease the game's reputation by making everyone think it's full of cheaters

The main problem with Ironmace's anti-cheat detection is that if you're already cheating it's because you've figured out how to circumvent the anti-cheat. People need to understand that just beacuse Ironmace hasn't banned someone it doesn't mean they're innocent, that's idiotic.
Banning gold buyers or sellers is not a solution. RWT isn’t the problem, the problem is cheaters. They should ban cheaters. One big problem of banning RWTers it’s extremely difficult to figure out who is legitimately RWTing and whose trading, splitting loot, or killing other players organically. At most only ban the Mule accounts that the gold sellers use to sell gold. Those accounts are more distinguishable as they have a repetitive account footprint with large sums of gold.

You can’t remove rmt completely from game like this. A good example is last epoch, devs did everything to kill trade between players and rmt. Game died in a couple of days? You can’t kill trade in dark and darker, instead they should make selling items even easier. And if there is trade there will be rmt. It also keeps the game more alive cause all players buying gold, buy kits, try new builds. So they push the gold farmers to also play this game, they push ppl to go high roller and buy high grade items. So I think cheating should be fought as much as possible, but there is not much you can do with rmt. It’s not a solo self found game.
Anytime I bring an expensive kit in I have players show up within 2 minutes of the match start EVERYTIME. If I dont have anything expensive I wont have a problem.

If you bring better gear, you obviously play in higher gear score lobby’s with ppl play this game a lot. It’s very easy to learn spawn points in this game and spawn rush. On top you have legit esp when your pc stutters means there is a player in front

Dimo gets banned - maybe devs learn something about how these cheats work, and have a better eye at spotting/detecting them. Dimo doesn't get banned - free promo for dnd cheats as it appears even if you share your content online, no one will be able to tell for certain you're cheating. Yeah... it's looking kinda cooked. Even Dimo doesn't realize that this will slowly kill the game in which he's trying to make a name for himself, as he's praying to be let free.

i just started playing this game and love it soooo much and theres times im getting 1 shot in full plate armor with armor mastery. played a rogue yesterday that stabbed me twice with a dagger and dropped me before i could swing my longsword once.
U say spacing is the most important but every cheater I've encountered has been either a ranger that can shotgun you in the head without facing you, and nothing but barbs that have speedhacks and abuse felling axe with it (I'm meaning like they miss a swing and suddenly they get faster and land the swing, or start a felling axe swing and get a hit during the startup.

i’ll admit I’m still not the greatest just about 200 hours and everytime I run a good kit (normally around 10k) I can clean house win 2-3 fights but the issue is I get 3rd partied as soon as I start to reset, iv been thinking it’s just been bad luck but watching the video it makes me suspicious how many times it was just bad luck because in 25s and 125s I barely every get third partied as soon as I start to reset
lol I ran a golden key (stupidly) and in the pre lobby I was almost instantly inspected by the two most geared players in the lobby. Once we load in - we are pushed in the first minute and a half by those very same players. It was beyond annoying, they ruin the game.
Ok so I know people sell items in game for money but I would have never thought to sell gold from dark and darker or to buy it for that matter! Just play the game for a little bit and you start getting gold it’s not that hard
Fellow cheater here. Most people do not have monetary incentive to cheat, they just enjoy killing everyone in the lobby. I have esp for dark and darker, although I rarely use it. This game doesn’t have too bad of a cheater problem mainly because it’s not that popular of a game. Dimo is probably soft cheating, a lot of streamers and RUclipsrs cheat, they have the most monetary value, Chinese hackers are mostly playing WOW or something where people like to whale. The issue is how much you suffer when going against just one hacker. You can’t back out, you can’t hide, you’re pretty much just at their mercy, and with aimbot and ai cheats they might just kite you to death. PvP games in general are pretty much cooked now because everyone is on pc or there’s crossplay. Before it wasn’t extremely popular to hack because everyone was on ps3 and Xbox back in the day, there were no streamers, most people who gamed all day didn’t have any money, so no one ever talked about it. Now just about every PvP game I’ve ever played has hackers quite frequently. What’s funny is I didn’t know how to really tell the difference until I started cheating, and found out a lot of other people are cheating too.. think about the tarkov wiggle. For those of you who don’t know about the tarkov wiggle, it’s a way to communicate with other hackers that you can see them and they can see you.

Check his aim tracking and compare it to aim tracking that known cheats have. The aiming tracking is very unique, its not natural or smooth. I thought wilsons video was garbage too but after I looked specifically at the aim tracking it looked pretty sus.

You definetly cleared up a lot of my recent frustration. Last week I just felt like I can't play the game and only run into best players ever. Last two days I started being far more suspicious of them and you strengthened my observation that: a) Most of players are experienced a lot more than I am b) There is a flood of cheaters

Honestly the Dimo situation is weird, I’ve spent 1000s of hours on CS which is notorious for wall and aim hacks and what I see from Dimo doesn’t scream definitive proof of cheating. The flicks he hits are something I would compare to high sensitivity and knowing the muscle memory of the flick, the stutter when players in your area is something i regularly use in order to track players as well. I’m not saying he’s innocent or guilty but I’m saying there is clear factors that can determine a not guilty ruling as well. Wilson games used broken shotty clips, I’ve watched a lot of Dimo and what he does more often than not looks legit. I’m open to the interpretation he could be cheating but until there’s definitive proof I’m going to say he’s not cheating. Also, another creator talked on soft aim as well, soft aim wouldn’t snap like the clips, to me it looks like muscle memory of your dpi and sensitivity

The way devs monetize the game give away they are making money off the cheating situation in cahoots with cheaters. The game is monetized internally, off-steam right? They do it this way so they can set the game's price to whatever they want, because if the game was sold on steam then steam would regionalize the price. Now, because the monetization is internal, you'd think the devs would sell less copies of the game, and therefore make less money, right? No, because a lot of copies of the game are sold to cheaters who got banned. But the cheaters who get banned still make a profit and by the time they get banned they can afford another copy of the game just with the money they made cheating. So the way the system works is cheaters make money taking gear from legit players, and the game devs make money by selling multiple game copies of the game to cheaters. And I will tell you cheaters know the devs know they cheat, because once you join the system to make money you learn how it works. It is the same with any other market in a capitalist society, no big deal. But because cheaters are making money by breaking the EULA, the devs can ban them, and legally speaking cheaters cannot sue the devs. So it is a fail-safe system to basically milk the playerbase for more money than the actual cost of the game. If this seems conspiracy theory to anyone, know that this monetization scheme is actually pretty old and very known. Runescape for example uses this system, and runescape has been around for decades. I know a lot about money schemes like these on games because I have made a ton of money on dota, and dota is monetized this way as well. The ONLY thing you can actually do to prevent the system from working is to monetize the game in-steam, since regionalizing the price will drop it, bringing more players to the game, which makes the cheating playerbase the smaller minority and cuts back on the devs profits over the cheating system. But even then, if the devs are dead-set on making money like this, long term there isn't anything the playerbase can do. It is a failsafe money making scheme, I know because I've made money in schemes like these.
Any time I bring a legendary into the dungeon I get w keyed within a minute of spawning in, I can bring in purples and blues all day without it happening but I dont even use legendaries anymore because of it.
No just no. The reason U are is because the new matchmaking system puts U in similar gear scored lobbies. Higher gear score usually means better players who knows how to track U down.
I will get hate for this but as someone who loaded up cheats to check how many other cheaters there are, 1/3 of the lobbies are literally staring at me and tracking me through the wall. This game is unplayable unless they get a better anticheat

He made a new channel just to show his screen and it has a hand cam and you can see that he's playing with the smallest mousepad which means he needs high dpi. All of it makes sense why sometimes his mouse is jittery when he needs to track people and it's smooth when he's not. It's wild because all the clips that people go and point too show slightly above average aiming. Go look at anyone who plays aim trainers constantly. dumbasslaura on youtube looks like she's hacking when she plays games but it's fully legit. I don't think Dimo is a bad player or that it's helpful to the issue to say that he is bad. He is a good player using a soft-aimbot to compliment his gameplay. People cheat for different reasons.. he is a good player that wants an extra edge to push his content and maybe in his head he even justifies it with the "if you can't beat them, join them" mentality of other cheaters. Who knows, but he is a good player who is cheating in my opinion. Calling him a bad player just discredits your statement that he is a cheater, which I do agree that he is.
He aims at the floor, and he constantly puts himself in weird positions that a good player wouldn't - but when you have walls on you never get punished for that. He is a bad player cheating. It isn't complicated.

@SolomonDandD I get multiple people banned daily. Dimo should be banned by now if he was cheating. He isn't banned. So either it's one big conspiracy or he doesn't cheat.
A way to fix this is make no loot trading, make the ah randomize the gear when you sell it, so you can’t see who’s selling and you don’t know the attributes that will drop. It will lower the cost of items and promote farming more. It will remove the ability for member to get the loot from the rmt’s.
If you think Dimo isn't cheating, then ask yourself why he has never streamed before? Why didn't he do a mouse cam video if he cannot stream? All he does is call Wilson a clown and while Wilson isn't the goto person that finds cheaters, he has some spot on points that cannot be ignored. All of which could be easily dismissed if Dimo either streamed or did a Mouse cam video.

why do we think dimo is cheating? I've seen videos looking at "aim hacks" in a game with no hitscan. Aimbot would actively work against you trying to land bow and thrown weapon shots.
I'm so sick of this Dimo cheating crap. There is not a single content creator I can watch without hearing about Dimo and Wilson. You were like the last holdout on that front, but here we are. Which, frankly, is super disappointing. I've seen couple of vids like this one, while chinese cheaters are a thing on their respective region, thinking dimo is a cheater is a tinfoil hat thing, I've seen a lot of his movies, sometimes he plays well, sometimes he misses a lot and makes mistakes, but since opponent made more mistakes, he happens to win. I think people really overestimate what it takes to be a good DaD player, pair of working ears and eyes, some common sense, learning from mistakes and just playing actively will automatically make you a good player.

earlier in the wipe I was hr grinding and extracted from ice abyss only to spectate a solo warlock named "XIOXANGXIOXANG" who killed the wyvern, got a frozen key, a viola, and then mined the ore... later I checked to see what they sell gold and artifacts for as rmt and was appalled at how cheap it was. in all my time playing this game I've notice that a large portion of players only want 2 things, that is to win and do it with as little effort as possible, thats why every time a class is considered the "strongest" a majority of every lobby is that class. that being said I wouldn't be surprised if we found out a good part of the player base was purchasing rmt.

Idk man I’ve been playing fps games for a long time, especially on a high sensitivity, it’s easy to track especially in a game that is as slow moving as this one. Wall bouncing and pop shotting in gears is much harder and I’ve seen people who are really good at it. Not to mention some of the best Fortnite and Val players. I’ve also seen much more impressive clips from Halo players. Wish you would have included more clips if you had them because the cheats you showed tracked the head perfectly and he just lazily tracked the person up the stairs. Idk if he’s cheating but I haven’t seen enough evidence to say he is. I do think there are a lot of cheaters though, which doesn’t make sense when they have a kernel level anti cheat I’m pretty sure

I am from EU server and almost ragequit 1 month into the game because of "the country of unknown origin", I was playing only trios with my friends where cheaters are more prevalent, and the amount of Chinese cheaters on EU server was absolutely insane, you easily recognize them from nickname alone, and this is EU which is pretty far from China... They are fuckin everywhere. This has made me very biased against Chinese players as a whole, where now I instantly report anyone with a Chinese nickname even though they might not be cheating, it's created a form a racism against these players for me. China should be region locked with VPN detectors for sure.
I didn't understand the point about the Chinese people. Dimo is not Chinese, so...And another issue, even pve games people use hacks, there is a famous case in the L4D2 community. The main problem with Ironmace's anti-cheat detection is that if you're already cheating it's because you've figured out how to circumvent the anti-cheat. People need to understand that just beacuse Ironmace hasn't banned someone it doesn't mean they're innocent, that's idiotic.
Banning gold buyers or sellers is not a solution. RWT isn’t the problem, the problem is cheaters. They should ban cheaters. One big problem of banning RWTers it’s extremely difficult to figure out who is legitimately RWTing and whose trading, splitting loot, or killing other players organically. At most only ban the Mule accounts that the gold sellers use to sell gold. Those accounts are more distinguishable as they have a repetitive account footprint with large sums of gold.

You can’t remove rmt completely from game like this. A good example is last epoch, devs did everything to kill trade between players and rmt. Game died in a couple of days? You can’t kill trade in dark and darker, instead they should make selling items even easier. And if there is trade there will be rmt. It also keeps the game more alive cause all players buying gold, buy kits, try new builds. So they push the gold farmers to also play this game, they push ppl to go high roller and buy high grade items. So I think cheating should be fought as much as possible, but there is not much you can do with rmt. It’s not a solo self found game.

If you bring better gear, you obviously play in higher gear score lobby’s with ppl play this game a lot. It’s very easy to learn spawn points in this game and spawn rush. On top you have legit esp when your pc stutters means there is a player in front

i feel like its definitely alot harder to spot cheats in this game than alot of others.
U say spacing is the most important but every cheater I've encountered has been either a ranger that can shotgun you in the head without facing you, and nothing but barbs that have speedhacks and abuse felling axe with it (I'm meaning like they miss a swing and suddenly they get faster and land the swing, or start a felling axe swing and get a hit during the startup.

i’ll admit I’m still not the greatest just about 200 hours and everytime I run a good kit (normally around 10k) I can clean house win 2-3 fights but the issue is I get 3rd partied as soon as I start to reset, iv been thinking it’s just been bad luck but watching the video it makes me suspicious how many times it was just bad luck because in 25s and 125s I barely every get third partied as soon as I start to reset

lol I ran a golden key (stupidly) and in the pre lobby I was almost instantly inspected by the two most geared players in the lobby. Once we load in - we are pushed in the first minute and a half by those very same players. It was beyond annoying, they ruin the game.
Ok so I know people sell items in game for money but I would have never thought to sell gold from dark and darker or to buy it for that matter! Just play the game for a little bit and you start getting gold it’s not that hard
Fellow cheater here. Most people do not have monetary incentive to cheat, they just enjoy killing everyone in the lobby. I have esp for dark and darker, although I rarely use it. This game doesn’t have too bad of a cheater problem mainly because it’s not that popular of a game. Dimo is probably soft cheating, a lot of streamers and RUclipsrs cheat, they have the most monetary value, Chinese hackers are mostly playing WOW or something where people like to whale. The issue is how much you suffer when going against just one hacker. You can’t back out, you can’t hide, you’re pretty much just at their mercy, and with aimbot and ai cheats they might just kite you to death. PvP games in general are pretty much cooked now because everyone is on pc or there’s crossplay. Before it wasn’t extremely popular to hack because everyone was on ps3 and Xbox back in the day, there were no streamers, most people who gamed all day didn’t have any money, so no one ever talked about it. Now just about every PvP game I’ve ever played has hackers quite frequently. What’s funny is I didn’t know how to really tell the difference until I started cheating, and found out a lot of other people are cheating too.. think about the tarkov wiggle. For those of you who don’t know about the tarkov wiggle, it’s a way to communicate with other hackers that you can see them and they can see you.

Check his aim tracking and compare it to aim tracking that known cheats have. The aiming tracking is very unique, its not natural or smooth. I thought wilsons video was garbage too but after I looked specifically at the aim tracking it looked pretty sus.
Wilson's newest vid at around the 16 min mark shows some of Dimo's kills VS druids in rat form and that shit is undeniable at this point.

You definetly cleared up a lot of my recent frustration. Last week I just felt like I can't play the game and only run into best players ever. Last two days I started being far more suspicious of them and you strengthened my observation that:
a) Most of players are experienced a lot more than I am
b) There is a flood of cheaters

Honestly the Dimo situation is weird, I’ve spent 1000s of hours on CS which is notorious for wall and aim hacks and what I see from Dimo doesn’t scream definitive proof of cheating. The flicks he hits are something I would compare to high sensitivity and knowing the muscle memory of the flick, the stutter when players in your area is something i regularly use in order to track players as well. I’m not saying he’s innocent or guilty but I’m saying there is clear factors that can determine a not guilty ruling as well. Wilson games used broken shotty clips, I’ve watched a lot of Dimo and what he does more often than not looks legit. I’m open to the interpretation he could be cheating but until there’s definitive proof I’m going to say he’s not cheating. Also, another creator talked on soft aim as well, soft aim wouldn’t snap like the clips, to me it looks like muscle memory of your dpi and sensitivity

I have played well over 1000 hours of cleric and its not uncommon to judgment through small gaps (biggest use case is the using it through the gaps in doors, very similar to the gap in the troll room wood). The way devs monetize the game give away they are making money off the cheating situation in cahoots with cheaters.
The game is monetized internally, off-steam right? They do it this way so they can set the game's price to whatever they want, because if the game was sold on steam then steam would regionalize the price. Now, because the monetization is internal, you'd think the devs would sell less copies of the game, and therefore make less money, right?
No, because a lot of copies of the game are sold to cheaters who got banned. But the cheaters who get banned still make a profit and by the time they get banned they can afford another copy of the game just with the money they made cheating. So the way the system works is cheaters make money taking gear from legit players, and the game devs make money by selling multiple game copies of the game to cheaters. And I will tell you cheaters know the devs know they cheat, because once you join the system to make money you learn how it works. It is the same with any other market in a capitalist society, no big deal. But because cheaters are making money by breaking the EULA, the devs can ban them, and legally speaking cheaters cannot sue the devs. So it is a fail-safe system to basically milk the playerbase for more money than the actual cost of the game. If this seems conspiracy theory to anyone, know that this monetization scheme is actually pretty old and very known. Runescape for example uses this system, and runescape has been around for decades. I know a lot about money schemes like these on games because I have made a ton of money on dota, and dota is monetized this way as well.
The ONLY thing you can actually do to prevent the system from working is to monetize the game in-steam, since regionalizing the price will drop it, bringing more players to the game, which makes the cheating playerbase the smaller minority and cuts back on the devs profits over the cheating system. But even then, if the devs are dead-set on making money like this, long term there isn't anything the playerbase can do. It is a failsafe money making scheme, I know because I've made money in schemes like these.

@@wkiraa I didn't say anything about that. All I'm saying is that Graysun said nothing about whether or not Dimo is cheating, he just said that they don't have definitive evidence that he is. My opinion is that there is enough evidence to conclude that he's cheating, but it's not up to me whether or not he is banned (even if I think he should be).

If he is cheating and admits it, that would be the end of his career. Nobody would take him seriously, his comments would be hate filled and his videos mass disliked. Community members that defended him will also fall under scrutiny I’m sure. It would be bad for everyone involved (except maybe Wilson)
If we can work through the dumps and rebuild but it would be SIGNIFICANTLY harder to stay in DaD. Other people have already done this like imls but most that try start over with something different. It would not be impossible just on the difficulty of acquiring super saiyan which is not that hard.

He made a new channel just to show his screen and it has a hand cam and you can see that he's playing with the smallest mousepad which means he needs high dpi. All of it makes sense why sometimes his mouse is jittery when he needs to track people and it's smooth when he's not. It's wild because all the clips that people go and point too show slightly above average aiming. Go look at anyone who plays aim trainers constantly. dumbasslaura on youtube looks like she's hacking when she plays games but it's fully legit. Really feels like a race to the bottom here in terms of these content creators trying to big down one of the largest creators because it's on trend to call him a cheater.

I don't think Dimo is a bad player or that it's helpful to the issue to say that he is bad. He is a good player using a soft-aimbot to compliment his gameplay. People cheat for different reasons.. he is a good player that wants an extra edge to push his content and maybe in his head he even justifies it with the "if you can't beat them, join them" mentality of other cheaters. Who knows, but he is a good player who is cheating in my opinion. Calling him a bad player just discredits your statement that he is a cheater, which I do agree that he is.
He aims at the floor, and he constantly puts himself in weird positions that a good player wouldn't - but when you have walls on you never get punished for that. He is a bad player cheating. It isn't complicated.

@SolomonDandD I get multiple people banned daily. Dimo should be banned by now if he was cheating. He isn't banned. So either it's one big conspiracy or he doesn't cheat.
A way to fix this is make no loot trading, make the ah randomize the gear when you sell it, so you can’t see who’s selling and you don’t know the attributes that will drop. It will lower the cost of items and promote farming more. It will remove the ability for member to get the loot from the rmt’s.
That will make gear worthless. So U would have to drastically reduce gear rarity.

If you think Dimo isn't cheating, then ask yourself why he has never streamed before? Why didn't he do a mouse cam video if he cannot stream? All he does is call Wilson a clown and while Wilson isn't the goto person that finds cheaters, he has some spot on points that cannot be ignored. why do we think dimo is cheating? I've seen videos looking at "aim hacks" in a game with no hitscan. Aimbot would actively work against you trying to land bow and thrown weapon shots.
I'm so sick of this Dimo cheating crap. There is not a single content creator I can watch without hearing about Dimo and Wilson. You were like the last holdout on that front, but here we are. Which, frankly, is super disappointing.

I've seen couple of vids like this one, while chinese cheaters are a thing on their respective region, thinking dimo is a cheater is a tinfoil hat thing, I've seen a lot of his movies, sometimes he plays well, sometimes he misses a lot and makes mistakes, but since opponent made more mistakes, he happens to win. I think people really overestimate what it takes to be a good DaD player, pair of working ears and eyes, some common sense, learning from mistakes and just playing actively will automatically make you a good player.

earlier in the wipe I was hr grinding and extracted from ice abyss only to spectate a solo warlock named "XIOXANGXIOXANG" who killed the wyvern, got a frozen key, a viola, and then mined the ore... later I checked to see what they sell gold and artifacts for as rmt and was appalled at how cheap it was. in all my time playing this game I've notice that a large portion of players only want 2 things, that is to win and do it with as little effort as possible, thats why every time a class is considered the "strongest" a majority of every lobby is that class. that being said I wouldn't be surprised if we found out a good part of the player base was purchasing rmt.

Idk man I’ve been playing fps games for a long time, especially on a high sensitivity, it’s easy to track especially in a game that is as slow moving as this one. Wall bouncing and pop shotting in gears is much harder and I’ve seen people who are really good at it. Not to mention some of the best Fortnite and Val players. I’ve also seen much more impressive clips from Halo players. Wish you would have included more clips if you had them because the cheats you showed tracked the head perfectly and he just lazily tracked the person up the stairs. Idk if he’s cheating but I haven’t seen enough evidence to say he is. I do think there are a lot of cheaters though, which doesn’t make sense when they have a kernel level anti cheat I’m pretty sure
something needs to be done on a hardware level, maybe kind of like valorants anti cheat but a little less intense

I am from EU server and almost ragequit 1 month into the game because of "the country of unknown origin", I was playing only trios with my friends where cheaters are more prevalent, and the amount of Chinese cheaters on EU server was absolutely insane, you easily recognize them from nickname alone, and this is EU which is pretty far from China... They are fuckin everywhere. This has made me very biased against Chinese players as a whole, where now I instantly report anyone with a Chinese nickname even though they might not be cheating, it's created a form a racism against these players for me. China should be region locked with VPN detectors for sure.

I didn't understand the point about the Chinese people. Dimo is not Chinese, so...And another issue, even pve games people use hacks, there is a famous case in the L4D2 community. In general, the genre of the game is irrelevant, there will always be these idiots, especially since the devs themselves are responsible for providing the codes and means to circumvent the games' barriers.
