Nice to see you back.
Read most of these because of RSD. Great company
Can't hurt me has become my Bible, definitely the most life changing book I've gone through. Good for getting through struggles. Stay hard!
I'd summarize it in a sentence: life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
Safe spaces don't make tough people.
All these likes and u only have 1 reply, well 2 now, but that's rare to see.

Yes my dude
Typhoon of Ideas I'm going to tweak that slightly but use it as the mantra of our team this year!
"To grow you must suffer..."
Ain't that the truth.
_Suffering builds character_
"To suffer you must not eat...."
Not true.
@@DRAWDAILYchannel Very insightful...
It's only suffering in the beginning. After you have witnessed the results that suffering brings, you embrace it and actually start liking it.
Preach!
Get comfortable with feeling uncomfortable
As long as you make results and progress, then it’s worth it.
No BS, this comment is 100 % true
This is my life in a nutshell, the suffering is addictive, i need to change

One of my favorite quotes from David, *_“In the military we always say we don’t rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training,”._* He's a huge inspiration
Can you explain "fall to level of training" what it means??
@@dharmanshah1239 tl;dr the 40% he was talking about. You want to be at 70% but you only trained to 50%, which will you be at? 50%. Because that's the one you trained
Basically it means that the worst you will be is how hard you trained. So if you trained badly, you will do badly, but if you trained well, you will do well
@@dharmanshah1239 People think when times are tough/the stakes are high, that we will be motivated to do our best. In reality, when times are tough, we regress to our most basic habits/abilities. Training raises your baseline/gives you those habits.

You good bro?
“If You Can Get Through Doing Things you hate to do on the other side is greatness.”
On the other side is more capitalism 😳
Anybody out there who is currently suffering while chasing their purpose...
You are not alone.
Let's keep pushing forward together.
Did your suffering cause you brain damage because you worked so fucking hard? Mine did.
Yes brother we will, i am currently trying to become stronger
same here i constantly scared and in panic when faced with challenges at work. Thanks for the reminder that im not alone it means the world to me and feel alot better
I'm trying to quit smoking and man it is hard
Fuck yeah
This is spot on. I’ve always lived by the quote “the harder you are on yourself , the easier life will be you. The easier you are on yourself, the harder life will be on you”
-Zig Ziglar
Thank you
Ah dude you're the only one who will enjoy life, if you spent your time being hard on yourself you'll only look for people and things that are hard on yourself, so when will life be easy for you, when will you enjoy it if thats the only thing that you're looking for?
Wow. I gotta screenshot that. Thanks @Jeffrey Deutsch
I diagree you dont meed to be hard on yourself you just meed to motovate yourself and be appreciative of how far youve come and wmbrace how much you have yet to go and achieve. Those are moments where life creates checkpoints to remind yourself to Thank God and Jesus Christ.
"A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that other throw at him."

Today I'm gonna stop smoking weed for a long time. I've been at it like a crack addict for everyday in the past ten years... Please support me, I've had so much trouble trying to kick this habit.
Boomshak987 the past cannot be changed but the future can be whatever you want it to be. I’m going to pray for you.
Detox your system w Turmeric, Beet Powder Maca and Triphala will knock cravings, up your water. Get healthy on the inside and it will help w getting rid of the weed imo.
Boomshak987 I believe in you
good luck!!!! You can do it!
How is it going?
This is gold. Though, in our defense, we quit right away because so many people project this image of perfection and/or act like they don't make mistakes. Once I saw that "the adults" were imperfect like me, I dropped my perfectionist streak and started to work and learn from my mistakes. Now I love criticism and do what I can to move forward ...and when I take steps back, I am compassionate to myself and trust that this is just part of the journey ...something that none of the adults let me see them do.
Jj Fatts Beautifully articulated concept. This spoke volumes to me. Thank you so much for writing this. Bless you.
Yes, brother.
Just today my older co worker yelled at me about something I was screwing up. It was so tempting to get all bitter and resentful, or lash back or shut down inside. Mostly because I'm not used to it, and because I felt so threatened by the possibility that I wasn't doing everything right. When I know it's a fact, not a possibility. What good is this pretending we're perfect?
Forgiving myself and forgiving him helped me so much. Almost shedding a tear while doing it felt like it cleaned me spiritually.
I think that the fact that this sort of emotional health isn't considered manly is a huge advantage women have these days. And please don't make me gag by calling it toxic masculinity. Such a useless term.
💜💜
This is so true. Knowing you don’t have to be perfect makes your failure failures. Not catastrophes. I had the same mindset and working to get out of it now.
People have literally been saying that 'this new generation is weak' for at least 2000 years.
But this time we mean it.
well that's the progress of modernity. it's inevitable. We get weaker every generation as things get easier, more convenient, and feminine (Aristotle's idea of feminine, not Lao Tzu's). instead of being focused and ambitious and adaptable, we've become arrogant, stubborn, and snowflakey
@@TheScourgeable womz bad, menz good. big bren. world solved.
TheScourgeable whats laos tsus idea of femininity vs astrotle
I don't know about that. When we had the young people fighting WWII we didn't make fun of them. US perspective here. They grew up in the great depression, and did they get a prize? They got drafted. If they weren't in the war they supported it. What came of it? The US went from not that powerful to leader of the free world. (if you cringe at the term "leader of the free world" then you don't remember the cold war)
Prior to that I don't know. Source that it's been that long?
Today, I am exactly in this state of discomfort this man talks about. Thanks for posting. I wont hide from what i fear....In order to grow, i have to bear this suffering and persevere to experience true change.
Don't forget your intestine is your second brain. If you don't have a healthy lifestyle, this will be hard to achieve.
Sorry but that’s cap in my opinion. I survive on protein shakes and TV dinners and I’m training to get into the military with a perfectly fine mental state lol. Don’t use the excuse that you shouldn’t workout today because you didn’t eat all organic food this morning. Don’t use the excuse that waking up early is “omg unhealthy you need 8 hrs of sleep”. Rest on the weekend bro. Eat organic if you can afford it. Otherwise wake up and just do it. Trust me you will feel so much worse if you keep lying to yourself. This is something I’m still working on, and I’ve learned that I feel better being tired and sore all week knowing I’m freaking killing it, compared to getting enough sleep, doing light workouts, and not giving 100%. Don’t give up boys. The more you push yourself the more you will adapt to the pain. Don’t quit. To anyone reading this: we sleep 1/3 of our lives, we do a job we hate for 1/3 of our lives, and the other 1/3 of freetime we waste doing meaningless stuff. So how about we sleep for 1/4 of our lives, push ourselves to our limits 1/3 of the time, get a job we love to do for the other 1/3 of our lives, and still have a little time left over to clap some cheeks and chill with the bros. Let’s get after it boys don’t quit yet
@@charlesmawhinney114 but isn’t that a healthy lifestyle?

@Light Sage true but he said he can't afford it
@Light Sage ok I got it. You are right
I can’t get this gurl out of my head and this video helped. Please keep me in your prayers guys
You got this bro, keep that faith strong and not only will the girl of your dreams come but you will also relax yourself into becoming the person you have always wanted to become. Stay patient and disciplined my brother, good things are on their way.
Dani The man fuck those girls focus on yourself follow your passion and the rest follows
You're addicted to thoughts of the girl. If you understand the neuroscience of whats happening it may help
@Hamza Mahmood You're right. It's a recent and tragic thing that we count on a woman (women have the same problem, but far less) to do what a whole community did for us in the past. Friends, neighbors, all close as family. Comrades. Now we just have tepid relationships with co workers and acquaintances and expect that one relationship to bear all the fruit we need.
I think many are afraid that if people can leave us (ie they aren't our immediate family) then they will leave, so we avoid being vulnerable and connecting deeply with them.
Just remember with whatever you do with a girl: The goal IS NOT to get a girls attention. The goal is to find someone that makes your life better.
-
-As long you keep that in mind and keep telling yourself that, you will know if a girl doesnt respond to your good gestures then she is not worth it. If a girl doesnt call or communicate after you did something nice for her, shes worthless. Theres better fish in the sea. Theres millions of women all over the world that would love to treat you like a king, you just gotta find them. Go out of your comfort zone. Dont be afraid to go outside of your country too.
This really kicks hard in because almost my whole life I been depressed and life was always a fight for me trough extreme trauma experiences and I am now 25 and its like every day is a struggle
The world has tricked you into thinking its a struggle, when actually its not, your just thinking like a normal person because from a baby, thats whats youve been led to think, seperate your mind from the herd, they'll never fight ti keep you depressed, but fuck them off, stay hard, roger that.
Depression is a man made concept to stop people being amaxing, if you dont fit into the nirm, youll3be classed as unsafe, different, then you'll be fed tablets to subdue your fire. Stay hard.
Hey man, I'm in the same boat. We are stronger than most already! Depression is hard to get past, but the first step to moving forward is to give yourself credit for everything you do. You're alive and STILL trying, and that's the most important thing. I'm assuming you're not on drugs or an alcoholic, which is 1000× better than 98% of people in general. There's many people who have addiction problems who just got into it because they're weak.
Give yourself credit for that dude. That means there's way more hope for you than you think.
I’m dealing with pain in my mind from my past. It plays over and over in my head 100 times a day. Hard to overcome
Are you ok now?
It’s all in the books.. it’s all in the Bhagvat Gita, it’s in the Bible man. Self discipline and detachment. Hard Working and unshaken by good or bad, that’s the key human characteristic. And the first thing you can control, the first hurdle is the food and thoughts. Eat good, feed on good information.. And hey.. smile :) P.s. this is a great channel, Thank You 😊
where exactly they mention that in the bible, i think i have somewhere the book i will start reading
ITS NOT about doing the things which you hate, its shifting your mindset towards "this is so easy, this actualy is in my comfort zone, what else can go wrong,i am fine just where i am" ,its more of a changing approach.I do the things i hate but i have changed my approach towards those things.
Goggins is just masochistic.
How do u change your approach?
Thought I was the only one who thought this.
and you know what!? When you complete what you hate to do you just feel great afterwards.
Big fax
The mind is essentially conservative - it can only do what one has build upon. So it's true that we have to take steps, even tiny ones, to move outward.
Goggin's book just helped me get through a 10-day Meditation retreat. It was sooo hard, but now I have that in the cookie jar for the next thing I attempt.
Between The Lines which book???

Wow! You're back! Good to see your content again, man! :)
I hate people but I still talk to them and deal with them everyday.
Thank you for our many freedoms Mr. Goggins! I respect your bravery, dedication, leadership skills, and that you are a true Lone Wolf dedicated to self improvement! You are a great inspiration.
I can relate to EVERY word you said. This is the most encouraging speech I’ve heard EVER. thank you x
thanks for that good speech and video my man. That gives me back the power to understand my suffering to beat the shit outta my head to get to my future goals I’ve settled months or years ago now.

Love this man. An inspiration across the board...
I can give a long speech about how and why, but after watching only 2 of your videos just to say it shortly, Thank you!
Welcome back! Thank you for your motivation videos!
I personally enjoy how you got these awesome people doing the voice-overs for the information now. But you do kill it 🤙🏽
@ 1:45 - this is true. No one will be there to help you, you have to do it yourself. This is the theme of a truly great book called Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. If you haven't read it yet, you should. It really focuses on mental toughness.
Great talk. I have always thought like that. Nowadays, it seems It is easier to be great: Put your phone down, take advice, make your bed. So many easy things to do that for some reason aren’t common sense nowadays. Build those calluses!
Truly inspiring man, so much we can learn from him
I've been reading this so excited to see it's on here !
It's an excellent book
Pushing the Envelope thru Self Respect makes toughness. Outstanding!!!
This guy has a very high level of self awareness, and I also sense BIG influences on him, I mainly noticed the "how did I atack" and than noting the things he was proud of.
I decided to take on ice skating. 2 days in, it felt like I had broken my tailbone (didn't, just very sore from falling), had fallen somewhat bad on my thumb and someone wrecked my coat while I was on the ice. I felt pretty discouraged that day, but went back 2 days later, then the day after. Can't say I'm good at it, but I enjoy it and it feels better than sitting on my ass, crying because I'm not anything near the level for the Olympics lol! A room is not cleaner because you put the dust all under the carpet.
This is the most important one and the one most will not want to listen to. Wonderful job.
There was quote from Ninja philosophy which have the same vision
"To accomplish mission you need to overcome emotions, egos, physical and mental tiredness and weakness. Overcome Your Personality to Accomplish Your Purpose. Prioritize Mission in first place and dig down deep your ego. Learn to be patient and cold, heartless and violent to Yourself, that's the only way to achieve any purpose which human beings could reach"
Wow another great video! I finally heard something new and like it. Keep it up. Positive hope.
Thank you sir for your priceless wisdom. It's a really very good use of you tube to share information.Again, thanks a lot sir.
Toughness is acquired in action
*Breaking - Rebuilding - Breaking*
The circle of life. Unfortunately there are too many distractions to be able to focus on one thing at a time
Blaming it on the distractions is the same game as blaming our parents, society, companies and what not. It's again the tricky game our ego (mind) plays in order to justify our compulsive behavior. Its genius... if it only wouldn't have that negative long term consequences...
Recognised you from the comment section in CRP
This really lifts my spirit, Thank you.
I am so impaired by your story. You explain everything in a very clear fashion. Well Done.😍
Dang knowing RUclips I’m suprised this video is monetized but it spreads a good message
Incredible Video, Very Inspiring
Love the book. Goggins is a beast.
I try to rearrange my to do list when it gets hard and I fail so it’s easier to do and I still get everything done but this is saying to just stick with it. It’s literally the hardest thing to get yourself out of that situation where your mind does not want to do it, I’ve been in that position many times and failed many times. It’s like a battle between my lazy side and my strong side all of the time. But my strong side does not want to give up trying this time.
Hi, mr Tom brands sent me here, and said simple mental toughness routines like this would take my wrestling career to the next level. Thanks so much for the vid!

This video is so amazing, thank you!
This helped me so much... I’m just speechless.
Man this hit me at the rightest time
You don't fight your brain, you make it work with you and for you!!! This sounds like a motivational talk stead of tell you how to really make it work instead of force it to work.
This guy nearly saved my life. I felt that I was not needed in my family and friends, that I didn’t know anything and I wasn’t valuable. But now I don’t care I try to live my best life as possible and try to do some positive things for other people as well. I almost drowned but I grabbed the rope. For everyone feeling the same don’t let others peoples opinions become your reality. Do what you love to do even if other people don’t agree with it
Thankyou for Your amazing brave story. Well done and kind regards.
Mind, body, and spirit, respect!👍
Great video . I really needed to hear this .

you have my attention brother. thanks for your video and advice my man
I've had two total hip replacements; two rotator cuff surgeries; a new total knee replacement; two high risk diagnoses in two years nearly drowned in a riptide last year; I'm tired and weakened physically but make no mistake about it, I am not quitting and I will never give up. As an Army veteran, I will leave no one behind. The walk is tough, but every day I put one foot in front of the other, stumble, but I forge on.
