Hi, I'm recently passed out in civil engineering department. I have lot of interest in data science. I want to pursue my masters in data-science in next 2025 intake, Can you please tell me is it worthy for Masters in data-science for freshers and job opportunities
Folks, you got be really serious when you spend so much money with no return other than a good education. In 90's MS in US was a lottery ticket to a good job in US but it is no longer the case and for someone to come to US with the promise of a wonderful life is stupidity these days. For families that can waste 30+lakhs like water its not an issue but for middle class families you really have to think if that is what you want to do.
Hey! I'm curious about the situation in the US about all the job market. As you said there are people who are struggling to get a job, can I ask which particular field you are talking about? I want to pursue my Construction management course in the US, do you have any idea about the civil engineering market situation?

It is not only whether to do or not a Masters in USA; the more difficult part is getting a job after the Masters and getting an employer to sponsor H1B. Even if sponsored, the chances of getting picked up in H1B lottery, as of now is one out of six. H1B lottery takes place in April but employment can start only from October 1. The employer should be prepared to wait for you 6 months for you to join. Unless you are an exceptional candidate, no employer will keep the post vacant that long: instead fill it up as early as possible. Please consider these aspects before spending lacs for a Masters in US.
There is a easier way to live in US, try to get an American women pregnant in college in a non abortion state, chances you will get married and get citizenship is high 😂😂😂
After completing the master degree, usually students will get job. But for outside students the cost is very high. Lakhs of rupees or thousands of US dollars are required. After getting the job, students can make up the costs within 2 or 3 years. America is very costly. People do part time job during study. But America is good for future generations i.e. if they will get permanent VISA ,then it is good.
The cost here is totally an under estimate. Anyhow, after all this hardships what students assumes is that he will find a job & all the financial burden will be over. But the reality is that the US is now saturated with foreign students. Supply is more than the demand. So naturally not everyone will get job. Just imagine that this time there were 7 lakh H1B visa applicants for 1.8 lakh available visas. So every year no of student intake is increasing, there is a huge stagnation. To add to all this, because of recession like situation companies are on a hiring freeze. Situation may improve with time but take a informed decision.
Even though India is becoming better than US in the tech job market, people refuse to swallow their ego and build a career here. The craze for a MS degree hasn't dumbed down and in the years to come many more will fly to there
Unless a student takes a 15 year view of what a US degree adds to their career or employment- it is not worth the expense to get a US degree, especially if one pays for the tuition for a Masters Degree.
NOW ITSELF WE SEE MOST WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE IMPLEMENTING PROGRAMME TO DEPORT IMMIGRANTS AND LOCALS TOO RESIST STRONGLY ALLOWING THE IMMIGRANTS AND OTHER SETTLED NON WHITE .
This is just the cost factor. The job market in the US is very bad. People are not able to see that. I have colleagues who graduated 1.5 years ago and still have not been able to find a job. Consider this factor too. People are blindly coming to the US thinking that they can easily get a job , which is not the case today. Look into the statistics and then make decision guys.
I WOULD SUGGEST INDIAN GOVERNMENT PUT A CONDITION - SHOULD NOT RETURN TO INDIA UNDER ANY SITUATION. I AM SURE EVEN AFTER ANOTHER 15 YEARS INDIA CAN NEVER BE LIKE US OR EUROPE.
Before starting this process remember you are not going to get job in USA or very tough unless and until you are very good in technology skills especially AI or ML. Next you are going to spend not less than cr. so do your ROI, Its not same now what it was 5 yrs back. Remember you are going to to take loan ot your parents are going to mortgae house for you. I know personally 3 people after grad/ and MS did not get job abd spent 2 to 3 cr.
I'm sharing the current situation regarding the job market and sharing a few tips: 1. The job market is in terrible shape. Students are struggling even to secure internships. 2. Most companies refuse to sponsor visas and have frozen their hiring processes. 3. Investing more than $20k-$25 in college is a significant risk if you plan to come here. The prestige of a college matters mainly if you attend a top institution like UPenn or Stanford. 4. Getting a job is difficult unless you have substantial experience as a software engineer, developer, or in software applications and development. 5. You are unlikely to learn anything extraordinary in a master's program. What you’ve previously learned, combined with online courses, is usually sufficient. 6. Don’t get lured by these consulting agencies: research (in-depth research) college, rent, and the courses you want to pursue; try to connect with someone in the US.
Interestingly, you have summarized our other videos where we have covered exactly all this. So, thanks for validating our content with your experience.
One way to get scholarship or funding easier is to apply for a PhD program. (yes people can apply directly for PhD after finishing their undergraduate.) It can help if you have a lot of interest in research and such things. Then, Usually, the university will give you admission + funding together as a package, only if when you apply for PhD ( if they cannot give you funding usually they will not even give you admission so you risk only admission fee) Then after you complete your degree requirements for masters in about two years, then sometimes people can change their mind and they can just apply to their department to graduate with taking a masters degree only, and not continuing PhD program. This,of course, will not get you a job, but it will help you do your MS with funding and paid tuition from the university. So if you wanted to apply to 10 universities maybe 5 can be for PhD and 5 for MS programs.( in case you do not get admission into any PhD program.)
Currently and possibly for some time down the road the job scene for foreign citizens in US is grim. People should come to study with a Plan B of going back to India. Be careful about the money you plan to spend for the degree as you may be competing with IIT M.Tech guys for the same jobs as outsourcing and AI are increasing.

If you want to become ENGERPRNUEr you have to drop thecollege after one or ine and half years and yhen start doint smart and hard work so you maybecome entrepreneur.. 😊😊😊😊

Medical or dental insurance is not mandatory. If you still want you can buy from India, but not sure if it will work when needed. Best will be to look at the medical insurance websites for students going to the US and read their reviews.
I am startor at all this. Lets say you pay all the fee required before your visa is done ? Lets suppose my visa is refused, now again when i am applying for visa do i have to pay all that again (uni application fee etc) ?
Short answer is no If your visa is refused, but you already got admission then you can ask the university to delay your joining by one or two semesters. Usually up to one year they will accept a delay in joining So hopefully when you apply next time, you will get the visa
Undergraduate and Ms in America is a business. America will decide who will get the job and who will not what special are they teaching in their college that cannot be learnt in other country
If USA opens their arms to welcome people from India then consulate of USA will be overbooked for visa application from India. In that case whatever you says in this video about USA will prove wrong. Indian people don’t want to do certain levels job they will be ready to do anything here in USA.
Guys !! Can anyone help me in this situation where I consider only the currency what I will get after my masters , suggest me which country is best for my situation
It is based on university and all but generally, it is going to cost around 70 to 80 lakhs easily. A friend of mine wants to USA for her bachelor's and she took around 85 lakhs from SBI with the help of wemakescholars. You should talk to wms for loan help they got her loan in 20 days for free
@@ScholarStrategyTV Don't spread lies. Those days are gone ! You have to return to your home country after completion of your course. Trump's policy is Americans first. So forget about getting H1B. Even if you get, your H1B extension will be at high risk. If you plan to raise your family, then it will be additional nightmare. So, DO NOT come to US.
ita a fact people underestimate Indian education but trust me many are not able to get job and in huge loans. They are in big problem now. If trump comes it will be more difficult for Indians.

For example she said wes evaluation is required for TAMU. I applied to TAMU and I didn't have to submit wes evaluation. I got an admit as well from TAMU. So while this video is a good for a starting point. You should always refer to your program site
@@abcbca431 Thank U fr ur fr the information (I was worried that i need wes evaluation fr Texas A & M) 🫡
Madam, after having masters in embedded system or micro electronics what is job opportunity in us... thanks
There is one more cost that is not factored in.If you are working in India and earning around 20l per year then in 1.5 years that you spend for an M.S in U.S you lose around 30l+ earnings .
Don't come to US considering current situation.
My mind got blown away, should i consider US or any other country ?? pls Reply ASAP
Can you make video on Cost of Canada & Australia university for MS cs study
How would the cost change for a US citizen who has studied in India untill under-grad?
It wouldn’t change
There will be no visa fees. Rest of the expenses will be same.

Doing masters in 2025 will cost between 40-58 lacks. which is not worth it. Better stay in india and do their respective jobs. you wellwisher
Hi Mam, I have completed my Btech in AI & DS. I further wish to do Masters in US. At the same time my ambition is to be a Entrepreneur. Guide my which MS course to choose. After getting 2 yrs exp I have planned to join in Fall 2026. Which are the best public university, which have good academic and placement record
There’s no MS education required to be an entrepreneur. You learn more by doing than in the classroom.
@@ScholarStrategyTV Perfect answer and higher the education it is normally a deterrent to entrepreneurship.
If you want to become ENGERPRNUEr you have to drop thecollege after one or ine and half years and yhen start doint smart and hard work so you maybecome entrepreneur.. 😊😊😊😊
You can finish your masters and go back to India and be entrepreneur
Entrepreneurship doesn’t require to be in the US
There is no relationship between a university ranking and entrepreneurship
Medical insurance?
Medical or dental insurance is not mandatory. If you still want you can buy from India, but not sure if it will work when needed. Best will be to look at the medical insurance websites for students going to the US and read their reviews.
Why would anyone get a MS now? :)
Plan dropped
What is MS....??
I am startor at all this. Lets say you pay all the fee required before your visa is done ? Lets suppose my visa is refused, now again when i am applying for visa do i have to pay all that again (uni application fee etc) ?
Short answer is no
If your visa is refused, but you already got admission then you can ask the university to delay your joining by one or two semesters. Usually up to one year they will accept a delay in joining
So hopefully when you apply next time, you will get the visa
@@sanm4836 alright. Thankyou
Hi your video is good but your video SEO score is not so for this reason your video not reach out more peoples
Is GRE exam compulsory for MS Data science students?
Don't come
One of my friends who did MS in Texas told me that he spent only nearly 40 l and that to 20 l he could earn doing oncamps jobs
Any when do you recover the money spent ?
Undergraduate and Ms in America is a business. America will decide who will get the job and who will not what special are they teaching in their college that cannot be learnt in other country
If USA opens their arms to welcome people from India then consulate of USA will be overbooked for visa application from India. In that case whatever you says in this video about USA will prove wrong. Indian people don’t want to do certain levels job they will be ready to do anything here in USA.
Informative. 😅
Kaleen bhaiya is your brother…

It is based on university and all but generally, it is going to cost around 70 to 80 lakhs easily. A friend of mine wants to USA for her bachelor's and she took around 85 lakhs from SBI with the help of wemakescholars. You should talk to wms for loan help they got her loan in 20 days for free
Is it worth taking a one year MS program in US
If your Ms course can have at least 30 credit hours, then it's worth completing.
You are someone who don't want to do jugad..
imagin you spent all that money and completed a MS and drives a Uber or work as Uber eats!
Walsh college MBA business analytics 16lpa collaboration with great learning is worth it mam😊
It might be, I don’t know. Those distance learning courses are not considered at par with attending these universities full time.

Le Education in Germany: What are you talking about? 😂
Germany is also a good option
From what I know the education is free there, but you have to know German very well
My God. This is damn expensive....
Campus accommodation is also available in many universities
Campus accommodation is more expensive
Ms in Finance hm years stay back ?
why do MS in US?
To get good paying jobs in good companies and have a high quality of life.
If you guys are making 2lac a month don't come to the USA.
Why?
@@TonyStark-lt1nr 2 lac month a lot India .. You need 5 lac in the USA if you need a good life ..

Thanks madam , so most of them take loans right?
Yes they do
No they earn money and then buy degrees..
Next 4 years India-US cold war will start, so think 1000 times before doing PG in USA and other nato countries.
No jobs in USA . what's the use of degrees from USA
Very true bro
ita a fact people underestimate Indian education but trust me many are not able to get job and in huge loans. They are in big problem now. If trump comes it will be more difficult for Indians.
Maybe US degree can help you get a job in some other country like the Middle East or the old Russian territories or even Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.
