Hi teachers thanks for all the efforts, a topic about wichs and regrets where you explain when and how use “could , should…..”would be really great
Interesting idea! We'll definitely look into that in the future!
南无阿弥陀佛南无阿弥陀佛阿弥陀佛。这是迄今为止对我帮助最大的视频。真正让我找到了自信和流利说英语。无上感恩你们!
Thanks for studying with us once again!
good evening; since i'm a biginner , so the whole sentences which concern a biginner are useful to (for) me
Glad to hear that!
Hi Kat and Mark, ?I´m a little out of practice, from a point where I úsed to speak english all day due to my prior super busy job in a global company, to today's situation where I don´'t need to speak english that often. That´s why I find your courses pretty usefull to avoid getting too rusty with my english. Thanks and blessings.
That makes a lot of sense! It’s so easy to feel out of practice, but the nice thing is once you have a little refresher it’s not completely lost! ☺️☺️
Your videos are practical and really helpful! Thank you!
The phrase, "get my point across" is something I want to use from now on. Does this mean same as "make myself understood"?
Yes that's exactly right.
"I get my point across" : "I make myself understood"
In other words, I can say what I mean, I don't to change or oversimplify my thoughts because of a lack of vocabulary. Hope that makes sense!
Good morning dear thank you very much for sharing this valuable lesson and wish you all the best.
Good morning! Thanks for studying with us once again!
The best channel on RUclips, thanks to sharing your experience with us. I'd love to speak English with straggling.
Thanks so much for saying so! We're really glad you found us and chose to study with us!
Thank you so much for your helpful lessons ❤❤❤. My English level is intermediate. I really enjoy learning English with both of you.
That's great! Thanks so much for studying with us today!
new words were: rusty, get thrown off by strong accents, hang in a conversation.
maybe I am at an intermidiate level .I can hang in a conversation, though I know I still make mistakes, sometimes I struggle to find the right words or maybe right collocation. at times, I express myself quite well, but the other day I am under the impression even do not know one word :-) especially if I am rusty. Sometimes I need things repeated and get thrown off by strong accents or a natural speech :). That's especially true for movies, they are really frustrating 😂
honestly, communicating with natives is more comfortable to me as they are more encouraging than non-native English learners who are like I do not understand you or so on as if it must be always your fault and are judging others because basking in their "achievement".
Thanks for sharing! It's interesting to hear your thoughts about other non-native speakers, and I'm glad that the native speakers you have met have been nice and supportive. Even I need subtitles for movies sometimes. Maybe it's how so many actors talk quietly or are "gruff" action heroes who have deep voices - so you're not alone there!
@@highlevellistening right? Yes, they really talk in a law voice, nearly murmuring something😅 I had some bad experience with non-natives recently and couldn't help myself not to write, but of course not all are the same:) thank you!
Thanks!
Thanks so much for your support as always Ken!

Thanks
You’re very welcome! 😊
You're amazing!
I like two expressions: I'm not fluent as I used to be... And
Sometimes I struggle to find the right words, but I can get by.
I learned this expressions that always happened to me: drawing a blank and the words don't come out! It's frustrating!!!
It is definitely super frustrating! Drawing a blank is such a good phrase, especially when you’ve forgotten something or it’s right on the tip of your tongue 👅 thanks so much for joining us!
Thanks for the lesson. My phrase of the day -' I still get thrown off by strong accents.'
Great example! It even happens to native speakers! :')
Thank you 🙏🏻❤❤❤
I'm still trying to improve my English
My English level is intermediate

Thank you so much for teaching me. I am an Ethiopian and have learned for 10 years in Ethiopia but my English speaking pronunciation isn't good.
So,how can I improve my English speaking pronunciation.
Thanks so much for joining us! For pronunciation, we always recommend speaking English OUT LOUD. It's also best to take one simple phrase or one single sentence and repeat that again and again and again and again and again until you start to connect the words smoothly.

...MANY times I struggle to find the right words, but I can get by in a conversation with a native speaker. And I also still get thrown off by strong accents. Usually I find it easier to speak with a native speaker, but some accents from the US or UK are too hard for me...
Thanks so much for sharing! It seems like there are a lot of students in the same situation - just keep going and you'll make progress!
Hi! " How's it going? " you have a bit of an accent." Could you explain it more, please? Thanks.
"Hi, how's it going" = "Hello, how are you?"
"You have a bit of an accent." = I can hear the accent of a different language when you speak."
A bit of = A little / A slight
A bit of an accent = A slight accent
Hope that makes sense!
Hello, how canI implove my inglês 😢
Practice practice practice practice - repeat repeat repeat repeat! It's only a matter of time :)
I can usually say what I want to say but I know I still make mistakes and struggle to find the right words.😂
Very good practice!
