very cool man, I'm always trying to get better at this I mainly like playing heavy metal but if you apply this style with metal cords you get a pretty cool result, dimebag Darrell is one of my favorite guitarists ever and you could tell he has a lot of blues and bluegrass in his style
So most of what he played are Tony rice licks. There not called sweep picking because he’s not doing hammer one rather than picking each individual string with the pick. It’s called cross picking. Similar to banjo rolls but with a pick. Look up Molly Tuttle right hand technique. There’s a channel based souly on the right hand but she demonstrates cross picking, and kinda how she uses her right hand.
