Craig was a outcast. And I've lived my whole life as an addict and outcast as well. He hated and never was a slave to Hollywood. He gave his all in this song cause its him being rebellious. He was never was what they wanted him to be and that's why I love him with all my heart l. He was one in a million. I cant think of any host like him.

I loved Craig's show, and I also love Paris. I also still have the 45 of "Ca Plane Pour Moi" so this rocked the shit out of me when it aired. I was dancing in the living room! I miss his amazing comedy, we could use some of that now....

I keep coming back to this video for the song, and her. She makes that yellow dress look outstanding.
I wonder how long it took him to learn all the words, because that was an amazing lip sync. The first time I saw this I was afraid he was going to hit himself in the face with the Eiffel Tower he was holding.

I wish I was able to see Craig when he was playing Drums back in the early 80s alongside Peter Capaldi. I can picture a night out in Glasgow with the place bouncing . If the description didn't say what the song was I would have been thinking Wooly Bully with the count in!

It doesn’t have an English name, only a French name.
Literally--That plane for me. It's an idiomatic French expression that means "It is gliding for me." In other words, things are going my way, I feel great, life is good. No wonder the song makes everyone act so happy and silly.
There was an English version: Jet Boy Jet Girl, by Elton Motello. It was released at the same time as this French version by Plastic Bertrand.
